Cayman / Cayman S
Hello to the forum, I’m thinking about getting a Cayman S. Now the “normal” Cayman is much cheaper, but also has less horsepower. Question: Can’t you buy the cheaper Cayman and let the missing 50 hp – or even more – “remove” by inserting into the engine? I’m not a screwdriver, but can’t imagine that there should really be 2 completely own engines at work.

Space at the Boxster?
Hello Since I sent my 330Ci to Nirvana on weekends (http://www.brummels.net/330ci/01c.jpg ) and am now ill written, I sit around a bit bored and worry about the next vehicle. Besides Z3, SLK and other models I think again about a boxster. I already know the diseases of the model with regard to curve wave immering, which I have not found yet, is something about the space available. And that both inside, wi e also trunk. Since I can’t even drive to the next PZ because of illness, I hope for an answer here. I am 1.84 meters tall. Do I have enough space for legs and headroom? Is the 986 suitable for the trunk everyday or doesn’t even go a bubble box under the front flap? I would be happy about an answer.

EU import Mitsubishi Lancer invite
The mitsubishi lancer invites me very much to find the great, if the necessary small money would be there it would be more the evo;-) but it doesn’t quite fit. have seen in autoscout that there are quite cheap listed, new cars, no hint on EU import, but strongly assume that it is, because also annual cars are listed with 20,000 km run the same machine, equipment etc. and they are there with about 17,000 € gel ist. neuwagen, on the other hand, with approx. 13,000 -15,000 €. on the one hand, there are no disadvantages, as I could already read. does jmd of you this model? if yes, satisfied? canceled? etc? so, the idea of EU import goes therefore, that I want to put the “spared” money into a car gas system around 2,400 €. the installed machine with 147 hp is optimal for this. I then want to accept my small fabia I as payment, calculate with 2000 -2500 €. Thanks already…

Newbie…
A general hello in the round. I still have to make my appearance and I have got in mind a YZF r6 Bj 2003. Since I am, as I said, beginner, as far as the motorcycle is concerned, I would like to have a few opinions about the motorcycle. In how far it may be good or bad for a beginner. As for the model of known dimensions for Macking etc… Thank you, Pie

why is the 156 1.6 bad spoken
Again and again I read comments like: he has no pull, doesn’t pull, too weak on the chest, may be,but think who buys a 1.6 ér certainly doesn’t pay attention to it. so I bought the 156 1.6,because 1. horny looks 2. back no door handles has 3. cheap in controls 4. less consumed than the stronger engines 5. compared to other car brands with 1.6 engines, still stronger is.(often twice as much Ps) on the road show many respect, where should they come from than a uch know , that he is only a 1.6 ́er . besides also no ampel race need anymore , only the oilmultis are happy about it . I find that the 1.6 ́ is a useful model , beautiful sports look , for less money

Alfa 155 bought… a few part questions 😉
Moin, recently looked at an Alfa 155 1.8 TS and yesterday gave my commitment to purchase. It is a ́94er with 105tkm in very good condition with ABS, climate, servo, ZV with FB, partialder, Alu ́s, sports suspension and rear muffler, el. window lifters, etc. The car was (the last 40tkm) not Alfa-workshop but at least gapless by ATU. However, the owner could not provide information about the timing belt change, but he said that the camshaft was due to lack of Hä I didn’t find the typical replacement sticker in the engine compartment. Well, I don’t want to take a risk and change it… Do I have a few questions about the Alfa spare parts: 1.I want to make new spark plugs, must it be the expensive ones of NGK or are there also cheaper ones of Bosch, Champion or Beru? Don’t get me wrong, will nic 2. Which engine oil would you recommend? With fully synthetic 10w40 I can’t do anything wrong, can I? How much does the oil fill amount? 3. Timing belts… couldn’t find a repair instruction ála Etzold, the only thing I can see is the Alfa workshop cd for the 156. Are the motors the same with respect to the timing belt change, or can I do something with the CD? Edit: Does the timing belt have a specific meaning? Am with the 8V and 16V Geschich I read that the 8Vs should have a steering chain (?) Get the car at the beginning of next month, will take some pictures of it. MfG comborado

Scratches in the leather steering wheel
I discovered today that I have a scratch of about 5 cm in length on the underside of the leather steering wheel in my FK3. The leather is not scratched properly, but rather roughened. I don’t know how that happened. You don’t see it at first glance, but I like to hold the steering wheel down when driving and it feels kind of uncomfortable. Does any of you have any idea if and how to remove it? With leather this might be quite tricky. d decided that I would buy a leather care soon and with Swizöl there is a leather seal. I think that pays off just on a steering wheel.

FK2 – one week old – engine must be replaced.
Last Tuesday I proudly picked up my FK2 from the dealer (after about 3 months waiting time). Then I noticed yesterday that an oil stain was formed under the car. Then immediately Honda called and it was towed away. Now I phoned the Honda dealer today. Lt. dealer is a thread in the engine block milled crooked. And thus the screw of an oil overpressure valve (or whatever) does not hold. Ultimately they want now the Lt. dealer takes the whole minimum 2-3 weeks, since you don’t know when the new engine is coming at all. Now I have a rental car for three days (Opel Zafira 1.8 – is by the way full of sip woodpecker and drives terrible, despite the same 140 hp) . The whole is called Mobility Guarantee. But only three days. And according to Honda hotline you think about something until then.. I’m curious what that should be. And then I have a “new” car with ATM.. . Great I’m so excited about my first Honda:-( So now I drove a day and he will spend indefinitely in the workshop… I’m really pissed off… Thanks for listening, I needed this now….
