  • Costs for timing belt changes?

    Good evening, a current thread here e.g. topic “Zahmriemen ripped” or something similar, reminds me of my due Werstatt visit. My car is almost 5 years old and has run 61000km. I wanted to have the timing belt changed, is also recommended in this forum at the same time to exchange phase converters, reversing and tensioning rollers and – did I forget something? – I would like to make an idea of the workshop costs from your answers (mean value) before I start the workshop.   • Purchase advice: Legacy from 04 with 2.0 or 2.5ccm ???

    Dear community, I have been forging for days after a purchase help for the idea to buy a young Legacy Kombi as a ‘construction site vehicle’. I tested the current 2.0 Kombi with LPG recently, but wonder if the previous 2.5er (which was available in the current Legacy before the 1st Facelift also in the non-outback) would be the better choice: Especially for one or other long distance in between. As far as read, the 2.5er is the constructive older engine than SOHC, but has s chon as much horsepower as the current 2.0er, which in turn does not come into the tuete in its previous 137hp variant at all… I also realize that the 2.5er was obviously cancelled only because of fleet consumption, only in the outback – and in North America as always a long-awaiting basic motorization – had survived. (Have known Subaru in Canada and learned to rattle). Who has experiences, what does your old bunny say? It is after all a difference whether you have 15000 Oe re spends for a 2.5er (3-4 years) or almost double for a current 2.0er. Or more clearly asked: Is the 2.5er to be recommended??? Especially with regard to performance, consumption and especially Zuuuuuueverlaessigkeit. Thank you for the answers!

    hello leutz, I’m thinking about selling my EG3 and buying me an Accord 2.2l for 3900 euro. what can I ask for for my old one? here are some dates: -Honda Civic EG3 with EC9 engine PS unknown since it was still removed, ventiel was set and a fan curvature is on it. -Bj. 1993 -Color Original Civic Light Green -Running power of the new engine 80000 Km -Bodykit consisting of front apron and rear apron plus badger spoiler -EG4 Tacho -Music system with 2x 100 watt tweeter, 2x 100 watts 2 path system and 300 watts subbi ( gets hardly air if you turn up the *g*) -oil change new clutch fluid new -tooth and wedges new -motor holder new -brakes front new -green footroom lighting -M3 mirror What do you think I can take? PS:I bought it for 700 euros from my mother and put it in 3000 euros. thank you mfg sven

  • Quick question about the XV trunk (chamber?)

    Hello, Basically the XV seems to fit exactly for me, except for the trunk, which seems to be even smaller than that of the old Skoda Yeti. During the test drive I noticed this astonished, but forget to ask if there is still a cavity under the ground cover, which you can still use similar to in the T-Rock (after a test drive I always think of something I forgot to ask). As I remember it, the XV seems to me a very good one. equipped car for 2 people with luggage or 4 people with some hand luggage. After 2 Volvos, 1 Saab and a Skoda Yeti thought of as Downsizing (children are from the house), I am now looking for a new car – but I don’t want to buy a car from the VAG Group.   • Kalos…!?!? …doesn’t want to make up, but should be said…

    Moin municipality, I admit that I wasn’t a special friend of Korean car construction art… …but my opinion was confirmed by a kalos that my girlfriend brought with me!!! It’s a 1150s, year 2006… When I first took a look at the apparatus, I noticed immediately that the AGR valve had not tightened a screw… that makes me want to see more…!!! …oh yes… Kalos never wanted to join registered We one day he ran 170, but the next day only 130km/h, but at the end more!!! On closer inspection and also when driving it was noticeable that the bucket moves to the right and when braking to the left… 42000km and both crossbars over ́n Jordan…!!! …I didn ́t have enough…. No noise, no flapping…. nix!!! …just out!!! Starter turns as if there is no candle in it… Timing belt protection off… and astonish… At about 60000km the camshaft wheel is from the cams wave BROUGHING… without shit!!!! …have almost 25 years of experience in mechanical engineering technology and imagine now to know why the maximum wind speed varied by up to 40km/h!!! The camshaft wheel was never fixed!!! This is clearly to be seen by a strong ridge and the colorful start-up colors at the center!! Since Chevrolet has known to give away nothing, everyone can imagine here what is going on on Kulanz… …with the statement: “…we would have noticed that in the service”! !! …the hairs stand up to me, as if for fun to disassemble the whole thing to see what’s going on next…. For three weeks the thing stood inside the workshop, until they finally managed to get the head seal and the ZK screws, I got the replacement motor myself… so we got along with 1000€… A new head with inner life is an economic total damage and it would take up to 4 months at all to get a delivered!! ! I’m very disappointed with this thing, my Honda is far more painless and my 2 Suzuki ́s are always running!!! …never again Chevrolet/Daewoo!!! …American processing quality + Korean processing quality = shit high 2… …beautiful day still…

    Had since April 2006 a rezzo 2.0 CDX has run up to 2011 now 175000km and sold it finally, thanks to the sky.Sprite consumption is far too high, under 10 to 11 liters went nix. Reperatur approx.500 € apart from the fact that the entire passenger cell is now damp. Conclusion has waited far too long with the sale of this everywhere squeaking and creaking box.
