  • 911 997 Cf Series suspension to PASM comfort

Hi I have been playing with the idea of buying a 997 for a long time… On my wish list the PASM is at the top, because I heard that the car is very comfortable with it. Since I have back problems, I therefore put a lot of value on it! Since I have unfortunately found that the car can not have a sunroof (I am 193cm tall), the search is not easy…. I have now found 2 cars, which are however further away and thus a test drive a little heavy he is….. A front mopf and a rear-mopf model. So my question: Is there a great difference in comfort between series suspension and PASM in comfort mode? Was there anything changed during the model maintenance on the chassis? Other damper characteristic? Thank you

  • CBF 600 SA – Review – Buy?!

Hello everybody! The old thread to my “purchase decision” has become a bit confusing, so I open a new one, hope you don’t mind. It’s about this ad:http://suchen.mobile.de/vehicles/details.html?id=162533828 The seller (including the motorcycle) is on the way in my hometown by accident on Friday, and then it should come to the review and possibly to the purchase. The following facts: – CBF 600 SA – TΓΌv new, – 24tkm run – 24tkm inspection made – 3000€ Nac h Information from the seller the previous owner has once on his nose with the motorcycle at speed 30, has seen photos of the scratches, these are not so wild and would not disturb me. What bothers me, however: after this fall the machine should have become too hot. Then the previous owner had them repaired, the following proof was obtained:http://suche.mobile.de/fahrzeug/details.html?id=162533828 After that there should be no problems with overheating I have really no idea about the technology, do you think that is worrying? Or does the reperature look so far “okay”? I get the receipt about the 24tkm inspection digitally sent to tomorrow, I would post it here as well. Question is now: Buy or not buy ? Look forward to answers, and hope that you can help me again πŸ™‚

  • Replacement Honda CBR 600 RR Blinkrelais

Hello, I’ve been having a problem with my flashers for a few weeks. First the complete left side has failed including flashing signs on the tacho and for a week the right side has been spinning. My guess is that something is wrong with the relay (wake contact), because the whole side has failed and I sometimes get a life sign of links, if it gets a bit bumpy. Well, my question, I got a universal relay at Polo. Since it’s plug-n- play unfortunately doesn’t quite work, I wanted to ask how to connect it now. The universal relay is 3-pin and that of my Honda 4-pin. Can I connect the cables of my Honda now simply (so make 2-pin out of it) and on + & – ,so 49 and 49a (see picture), connect and omit the mass or how is the distribution at the incoming plugs (I had suspected + & – left 2-pole and right side 2-pole = 4-pole??). Or is this too nice to be true? I also have still taken photos to illustrate everything better. I found the relay at my PC37 Bj-03 in the front between the headlights, hope that’s the right one.? Thank you very much in advance.

  • Question on the use of the driver card in agriculture

Hello, with the conversion to the new car with digital tacho the following discussions have arisen. If we drive within a radius of 100 km around the location, we are not subject to the steering and rest time regulation due to EU 561/2006 as a farmer. With the old car simply no disk was inserted and good. Was not objected by the BAG either. How is this now with Digital? Since for this purpose we use the “Out of Scope” function the question with or without a map? I think that this is a delicate problem. This now results in a follow-up problem: In the old car it was omitted to fetch for example young plants from the colleagues, because the car was not the hit for long distances. Now, however, it is also considered to make these occasionally occurring tours (a distance of 3-400 km) by itself, for that would be the use of the tachograph mandatory because this distance is no longer consistent with the EU 561/2006. In this case, as a farmer, I have to carry the proof for the last 28 days? So driver card, or the leaflets or for days without driving activities the employer certificates? But if I drove all the days with the exception, how then? Do I not want to be informed by the BAG about this fine. Against this background it makes sense at all to use the exception possibility at all and instead simply to use the driver card regularly. What do you think? Greetings Gerd

  • Does anyone here know painters in Eastern Europe who work reliably?

Hello, it’s about the painting of a VW T3 camper, an original joker from 1984. I would like to receive the car, but a paint in D for 1500.- Euro blows the economic frame. Does anyone know a company in Eastern Europe (Poland or something) that makes it reliable and cheap? And maybe has references that prove this? Here are two pictures of the car:http://i6.ebayimg.com/04/i/08/9b/36/8d_1.JPGhttp://i13.ebayimg.com/06/i/08/96/91/ec_1.JPG The car is driving without problems ready. Thanks and greeting Kai

  • Honda Civic Hybrid: Which color take (black or grey)?

Hello! I’m about to decide to order the Civic Hybrid. Unfortunately, I can’t decide between “Nighthawk Black Pearl” and “Galaxy Gray Metallic”. It’s more difficult that I haven’t seen the two colors on this vehicle yet. I’d be happy to help with a decision.

  • increased oil consumption…….

Hello! For a while I have had to refill all 1.000km about 1/2 l oil. I know this is not very much, but before (up to approx. 250,000km) I had to refill nothing between the oil changes. Since the oil does not penetrate outwards through def. gaskets, it can only get through the valve shaft seals or piston rings into the cylinders. The oil used has the viscosity 10W-40. Question: Does it bring something if I use thicker 15W-40 oil? Or does someone know another cause or lΓΆsu ng to reduce consumption? I am grateful for any hint…!

  • Porsche 930 Turbo. A question regarding steam wheel and WLS

Hello Porsche Community, I am interested in the Porsche 930 Turbo and have a few questions about this. At the Techno Classica in Essen I looked at various 930 Turbo and asked myself the following question: There were models that had mounted a steam wheel in the front of the center console (quasi already almost under the armarur board). At least I thought the rotary controller was correct, if it is none. Other models, on the other hand, had d My question is now, is this variation dependent on the engine (3.0L and 3.3L) or does that have another reason? My second question is whether there was the possibility of one or even more WLS for both variants. Thank you for the answers Best regards Peter

  • ZX10R all tips, experiences and recommendations are more than welcome πŸ™‚

Hello, I would like to know from you all interesting about the ZX10R Built 2004. To introduce to you my situation briefly. I am 25, just made my driver’s license. So can drive the open bikes right away. I actually wanted to get the 6s, but what bothers me is the exhaust under the sozius… πŸ™ Now think about buying me a 10s. Only that gives it a problem! I am certainly not an aggressive or “Raudi” driver, can my mind but 174hp for a beginner…. is that even manageable, what experiences did you have with the machine? What would you recommend/advise me? I also thought about throttling them, so on 100hp. Does that hurt the engine or something and how expensive is that? I would be very grateful about all opinions, tips, infos, reviews πŸ™‚ Many greetings from Wiesbaden Fantablue
