Moin together, yesterday I sat on it. The new R 12 The friendly has shown it to me already before the official performance. What to say ….very horny moped I will drive it in March. I am very excited. I have to confess in am endangered to buy one. What bothers me a bit, properly touring is not yet suitable. Only 1 cup on the right is little, the accessory disc is big enough I think

Oil change
Hello, I’m going to make an oil change the days. Finally, there was an oil change before my conversion measures still by the seller In my documents received from him it says that he used CastrolPower 10 W 50. Should I use the same or change it? What would be “most meaningful” ? If it matters: During the week I only drive to work and back (only 10 km) , but on weekends then of course considerably more and longer. Thanks in advance for your e Efforts.

997 Imports USA
Hello, I would like to import commercial Porsche 997 from the USA. Would have a few questions about the conversions for Germany here. Would I be happy if you could help me. 1. How expensive is the conversion to Km/h. Does the speedometer have to be recalibrated here? The same applies from miles to KM? Does the complete speedometer unit have to be changed? 2. What about the software. Probably an English software that controls everything (radio, navigation). I have heard that some radios in America don’t have intermediate frequencies. What does it look like here at Porsche? 4. Can the Navi also read German Navi CD’s? 5. Do you have to change what is happening on the body and the sham throw? 6. Which workshops do such work? Porsche workshops will probably not carry out any upgrades here. Can free workshops access the electronics at all? many thanks Philipp

911(997) Carrera 4S WLS Cabby finally “entered” 🙂 with pictures
Hi, yesterday I picked up the 997er, I had already posted the purchase for a short time. as promised some data and pictures. 997 4s cabrio with factory performance increase and tiptronic s year of construction 09/2008 8400 km German vehicle gt-silber inside + dach cocoa the equipment to list would be a little long, list price 146.200,-, of the main things missing only pccb. I therefore only list the especially nice accessories on: turbo ii wheel set 19 inches with p zero rosso’s 255/305 as well as 5cm distance front and 10cm rear (per axle), akrapovic titanauspuffanlage (cool!), some added leathers (eg the pcm). looks like new, rides the same.. sound very similar to the gt3. 406ps according to the test stand. are registered 381ps (with the wls) difference probably comes from the exhaust or the motor scatters even upwards. small beauty error, on the two left exhaust pipes the black border has gone off, if one looks closely. knows one of you possibly the part. enumber? how do you like the car? gruss j

More Power
Who has an idea how I can get a little more power out of my 911 SC (207 hp). On the track at 250KM/H despite tailwind and ears there is absolutely no end…..there has to be something.

With van to Gran Canaria
Moin, I’m looking for a van at short notice, which I can put in front of my door here in Hamburg. Then I put in some furniture and other stuff and make my move to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. There on the island I want to sell the car again. The market there on the island is quite good as far as I know, so I think I’m going to get rid of the car there again and will hardly make a loss as far as the purchase/sales price is concerned. What do you think? e idea? And does anyone want to help me choose a suitable van? Greeting Patrick

Pontiac Firebird 1991 3.1 v6 Ignition problems
Hi there, I want to explain first why all the conditions have come, which now causes problems with me. Last year in September (9.2018) my Firebird started to run unround after a lot of speeding or got speed fluctuations. Once again everything became normal again. A few weeks later about October the fluctuations became so strong that he went out while driving. Then a buddy who had a 1991 Camaro hrt (similar to the Firebird) advises to exchange the reverberator or pickup coil. Said done, after that we did not get it to run round which however was due to its own stupidity… At some point we got it to run round again but somehow the ignition behavior was a bit strange and after a short time similar problems occurred as at the beginning again so we decided to exchange candles and cables the improved though the ignition characteristics something but it was not of the Council els solution. Then we replaced the complete distributor and on the first attempt the thing jumped on and let itself be adjusted at operating temperature round, one day later he didn’t jump any more (3.2019) after which I had now changed the ignition coil however nothing happened except that the engine did not want to stay. Out of despair and frustration I brought the car to a friend’s independent car master who specializes in vintage car restoration The master then determined that the new candles were already ripe for the ton by numerous start attempts. So again new candles, again not the cause. Next step a new ignition module (it was a new one at the new distributor but the Pontiac ticks around a bit if it is not original of Delco as I read on the internet) so ordered in the Amiland and maintained, built in and actually the sounds of the engine changed for the better, however woll with brake cleaner sprayed into the open throttle flap and see that the engine remained on and even ran almost round but without brake cleaner he died immediately again. After some looking and trying out, we found out that the cylinder bench was wet on the driver’s side (candles) and on the other side not. Since the probability that the 3 injection nozzle will be broken at the same time is very low, and enough pressure on the petrol line system v Orhanden is close to the assumption that an electrical system has damaged and only one cylinder bench is supplied with sprit enough (15.4.2019). Now the question may be familiar with the system or someone has a suspicion what the problem might be here. Thank you in advance and thank you for reading through the long text.
