Good day, I am interested in 18″ rims and I wonder how the corresponding tire behaves. What wear is there in normal driving mode? It is a front drive. Can you expect to drive the tire at least for 3 summers with an annual driving performance of c. 15000 km or can you forget that? How does it look in the Vergliech to 225/45 R 17. Do these tires last a lot longer or do you have similar wear? Thank you very much. MfG Pruck

0 – 100 km/h / acceleration from the level / real values
Hello! I have seen on the Internet a contribution on the topic “0 – 100 km/h / acceleration from the stand”, in which it was said that the stated values are not real on the part of the manufacturers, because there – exactly as with the consumption data – is tricked. Thus is measured in cold weather as possible, because then more oxygen is in the air and so the engine gives off more power. Or – similar to the dragster race – glue should be applied in the start area or there will be special tires Have you ever taken measurements – e.g. with GPS or otherwise – and checked the factory data? If so – what has come out of it? If you look at broadcasts such as “Grip”, they usually say that the consumption is higher in real life, but that the vehicles are at least 1 second slower from 0 to 100 – as far as I can remember – have never been said before. Are there any of you with “Test results” in the area “Mercedes from 500 hp? What experience do you have? How do the cars (W221 – S 600 + CL 600) run? Thank you for your support.

Check the cardan shaft
Hello, I haven’t read anything about the subject yet, so I’m interested. Yesterday I brought my moped to the annual inspection. There I was told that the cardan shaft should be checked with the model, I would have heard something about it. I also find the point to retrofit drainage in rear wheel swing on the workshop order. Were there any problems with the model?

Honda CB 500 PC32 throttle
I have asked two dealers, if I want to have 350€ incl everything for the assdrossel-packet. seems to me a bit much for two aces, two nozzles, the installation and enter… so I wanted to ask here for experiences, what your dealers so for the throttle nehemen. since I don’t pay for the throttle it really doesn’t matter to me, but this price let me listen…

Restoration of a Honda CB250 Built 73
Hello everyone, I found the old CB250 Bj.73 from my father in our shed the other day. Now I would be interested in how much a complete restoration of the machine costs and which workshops offer something like that. The motorcycle stood about 30 years unmoved in said garden house. Thanks already in advance. Mfg Brick’s house P.S. Could not take pictures yet but still

Project: Honda CB 250 B4 – Built 73
Hello Honda Community. A few days ago I got a Honda CB250, Built 73 to restore. Have a lot of experience with screwdriver technology, thanks scooter and car. I would like to introduce my project here and hope that I can bring this thing back to life. The motorcycle stood about 10 years +- 3 and is in the appropriate condition. The front disc brake I got to run again reasonably, thanks to fresh brake fluid and a lot of patience. Aber, without gnashing or similar. Oil he got today also new. (10w-40) Just removed the left carburettor… and sometimes “look inside”… My face, it is really bad resin. The “resin” has a tougher consistency than honey and it is impossible to get with brake cleaner or carburettor cleaner. An ultrasonic bath will not help at first, I guess. Do you have tips and tricks on how to get this stubborn dirt out of the carburettor? Acid o .ä ? A few pictures. Greetings

Question on insurance (starters)
Hi people, I am 18 years old and have had my driver’s license since September 2009, had still B17) Got a VW Polo Style, 45 HP, BJ 94 and am currently insured with the VVD. Now it’s the case that I am there at a special classification, since my father is insured with the same insurance with the car. At the moment I am SF 1 with 100%. That’s not bad in itself, but the prices are outrageous. I pay 300€ for the car every 3 months for a 45ps cart where just rolls. should change !! Have heard from buddies that you have the car insured through the parents and then pay only 30-40€ a month. Jetz I wonder, can this really be ? If I would do so, I could later take over the percentages in about 3-4 years or start there at 0 ? hope you can help me how I get the cheapest away. 100€ is just too much for me a month. MFg

Are Lexan helmets safe enough?
Hello guys! My ~2 mon. “old” helmet has not survived my fall without any damage, so a new one has to come. I find the helmet of Nolan N63 very chic, but it is made of Lexan. I have never heard of this material before and there were some who thought that it should not be particularly safe compared to other helmets/materials that are available on the market. From the price level, okay… you can place the N63 in the “billy category” (approx. 200€). Is it about safety? After all, the Nolan helmets also have a safety standard that they have to meet. The longevity plays a minor role for me. If I have to replace the helmet in 3-4 (?) years because of material fatigue, it would be quite right for me. Wouldn’t it be great if one of you could tell me something about it… I don’t want my head to be on the street here’s a link to this:http://www.polo-motorrad.de/n63-link-rot.html

Build your own chain grinders
I need a new chain grinder for a KLR 600 out of 85. The existing one is broken like glass (hardened) replacement would cost 80-90 euros, a third of the whole motorcycle. I think about making something like that with the swingarm as a “form” itself, e.g. from a tough epoxy resin glue, which is mixed with tixotrophic agents. I still have both. Does anyone have an idea how to start this ? The old grinder is unsuitable as a form, crumbled.
