  • Search first smart car for a longer time

    Hello together, after I was only passively present for a long time now again a post from me: wanted to buy me a car again soon after I sold my last one. This time it should be something nice, but still reasonably economical. I thought about an Auris or a Civic, but I arrived again at the German premium brands. Besides, the 320d Bj 2011 seems to me also to be reasonably economical without having to give up driving fun. Before I ever I finally decided, maybe someone else has some suggestions here. What definitely has to be: Built > 2008 <125tkm climate control, (Navi would be cool, no one has to thanks to smartphones) Diesel (1.8 - 2.7), am not a friend of highly bred engines >100hp, better >150hp low maintenance (no timing belts) Limousine or small car, no combination golf class up automatic doesn’t have to be ~15t€, loving also less I don’t really drive that much. 15tkm/year.

  • Brakes Question ….

    Hello. And again a question. After it has been clarified with the tires (there are of course 2 new ones) , my friend (the man with a clue) and me (the carrier) wanted to put us on the brakes. Had a quite bad braking performance on the rear. At the front was quite ok. Nevertheless, today we installed 4 new coverings. After the airing of the system, however, it was not better at the front. And at the back I suddenly had no pressure ( please do not look too closely with the “technical terms”. After that it was better and in the front there was a big improvement to notice, even by airing out eternally, nothing changed. One builds up ( by long pumping of the brake lever ) pressure, brake performance well available. As long as one holds the lever pulled, the pressure remains. However, as soon as one lets go and starts to pull the lever without effect to the grip. Zero braking effect. But if one pumps again about 10 sec relatively fast, builds up pressure on or a good braking effect again. This is how the game works all the time. Could it be a defect of the saddle? The pistons didn’t really move properly even after cleaning. Brake fluid doesn’t exit anywhere. Where does the pressure get lost? Air in the system I rule out. At least everything was okay after airing.

  • Scooter drives but light doesn’t work

    Hello everybody, I’m new here and I have a question. I drive a Gilera Runner c36, and the scooter is driving great. It’s not installed, so it’s still in its original condition. Yesterday evening I drove home and suddenly a lot of the light out, the scooter drove rusty on. Blinker, brake light and horn worked but taillight, dipped light and main light were out and didn’t go on. Did the taillight unscrewed today to see if the bulb is broken -No, Both wires in the people were fine. Where can the defect lie? According to a friend, the defect is probably due to the “real light” What, or wherever it is. Or can something have broken due to the cold? For advice and solutions to my problem, I say thank you!!!

  • Suzuki Samurai Extension

    Hello all of you, my father (me) bought a 13 year old samurai, I definitely want to do something about sound technology, but how!? In the car you have almost no space! The trunk is limited to about 15 cm deep, so NIX fits in! The series FS is a 13er in the footroom, probably widebands, since no HTs are installed! The biggest problem is that the 13er are located somewhere in the depths of the footroom, so you could use a lot of handicraft work. The doorboards are also not possible, because the door is so close to the seats, that you almost hit it there, and without DB which goes net, there is no depth! So the question, has someone ever done something about the car, or knows someone who can tell me where he has accommodated the FS meaningfully? Photos of the problem areas I can still post, but is at the moment nn bitl dark! Preislich habe i no idea yet, because it’s all about the general feasibility of the whole thing! Where to with the TMTs, the HTs and (probably impossible) nem Sub and the Amp! But you’ve already done so many things that seem impossible! 😉 So all the possibilities (how stupid they may sound) go here! Thanks Dennis

  • Permanently seal pipe connectors on the exhaust

    Hello, it’s about the pipe connector of an exhaust system. Precisely this type/form: Click With cheaper systems (like now on the “problem case” I have the nerve that this place is not dense. The pipe ends were cleanly ground or new to the pot, the distance of the separation joint is > 10 mm and the tightening moment (printed on the connector) was noticed. These are initially dense, but at some point caused by the condensation humidity & vibration. Even if I dry the mass with the hot air dryer before starting the engine. Are there other methods to seal it in the longer term? Except welding… I can’t find the entry anymore, but it was once soaked on a gauze with the “water glass” (= exhaust paste/kettle kit etc.) sworn… unfortunately I don’t get the name from that thing.

With my 900R Bj91 the mirrors are relatively na together, in addition I get the right net so set that I see the road behind me without having to lie down almost, I rather drive upright than in the lying.
