  • Spooky first car searched (6000-700€)

Hello everybody, I’m looking for my first car. My criteria are as follows: -if possible a German car (Golf, Polo, A1, 1er) – should be already sparkling so around the 80-110hp consumption under 8.5 liters -modern design (year of construction from approx. 2010) I hope with these criteria something can be found. A German car would of course be best, especially the Audi A1 likes me particularly well, but I’m also open to other things. My budget as said is 6-7 thousand euros, a bit of air up would still be necessary. When it comes to the equipment, only an air conditioning system and a radio key would be important to me. Thank you in advance! Oh yes, a diesel is more likely to be less in question as my way to work is only ~6km.

  • 2.0 TDI with 140 hp versus TDI FR with 170 hp

I love to drive with a sporty note, but I don’t want to do so on the race track. so normal application, highway, highway, city but with pressure. what about the reliability of the two aspirants? who can say something about it and give a few tips? gruss and thanks

  • Seat Leon 1p vs. Vw Golf V

Hello guys, I’ve been having a Seat Leon 1 P Sport 1.9 Tdi for 4 months. Who next to me or behind me drives a VW Golf V, I’m always very sorry. I think the Seat is the better golf, especially in design, is not coming with VW. But do you know any more advantages over VW Golf V with the same engine?

  • Golf 3 VR6 Performance question….

Hi A question to the screwdrivers ….. Have a 2.8 Golf 3 Vr6 BJ 95 I have bought a few small things like… Facilitated flywheel Large Max Flow throttle valve – inside Enlarged + Polished Both suction bridges – inside channels Enlarged + Polished Diggi Tec chip in the control unit From the previous owner was an open airf. K&N 57 i kit mounted and entered, have replaced it now against the original air filter box with a K&N insert filter and the air hose to a Bonrath Air Intake Kit connected It pulls now from 2000 – 3000 better but for that the power is at 6000 way !!! With the open air filter it pulls considerably stronger at 3500-4000 And also up to 7000 quite good !!! So now my question… Does anyone have experience with the Digi Tec chip in VR6 in conjunction with an open air filter or with enlarged intake routes ??? With best thanks !!!! Gruss Schumi

  • After 12 years Audi landed at the Saab 9-5

After almost 13 years of “Audifraktion” (2 X Avant V6 – 1 x Coupe 2.3 Liter V5) and my last 8 weeks of Odysee through the workshops (gear problem at 2.5 TDI) there was an “emotional” short circuit and within 10 minutes I was a Saabfahrer. I am up to now (except for a little muffy smell in the interior) quite impressed by the car. There is nothing to worry about. Every now and then only explanations when people are standing in front of the car and can’t do anything with it. Easy 15 pieces allowed in the district when it comes up 🙂 Greetings from Brandenburg

  • First purchase of a 9-5 station wagon

Hello expert round, actually our family was looking for a Volvo V70. Since the offer in our price range is not huge, we sat at some point also in a 9-5er station wagon. We immediately liked the car. We consider it now as well. I have some questions about the purchase. What to pay attention to, where are Macken? Which engine is particularly good? Can the EURO 3-diesel be converted to EURO 4 (what price)? Are the cars as robust and durable as a Volvo or an Audi (now also in question)? Is there anyone who has experience with car gas (which system would be recommended here)? I would like to thank you in advance for your help!

  • Problems with cooling at the AAH

Hello Together I have the following problem: Before 800km kilometers I have both head gaskets, water pump Thermostad stop everything that belongs to it let renew. In cold condition the marking on the balance tank is exactly to maximum. Then the car ran warm times in the stand gas. At 110 degrees (according to temperature indicator) I switched off the engine. Here I noticed the following things. Hose from the Thermostad to the cooler is cold. All hoses are relatively hard (also the hose that stays cold) as if there was pressure Ok sounds primarily to Thermostad but when I drive everything is normal. Cooler gets warm all hoses are warm and the fans set just before 100 degrees Does someone have an idea how to go on? Greetings and thank you in advance

  • Porsche 996 C4 Convertible with mileage available?

Hello together, I’m not usually present here, because I don’t own a Porsche at all. However, in our childhood we probably all had the dream of owning a Porsche. I was never a fan of the 996, that’s what I have to say. You can’t hear anything good about him, certainly not about the early models, i.e. with 3.4 liters of engine capacity. At the 3.6 liters of engine capacity you can hear better. But in turn: At Wetzel Automobile in Hamburg there is a later model from 2003, so berei ts a facelift with 3.6 liters. It is a convertible with a good price. There are several hooks: The kiloemterstand is atypically high with 241,000 km, no service booklet, so no service proofs – only invoices. For the good: The vehicle should be in good condition and “only” cost around 23,000 €. Comparable vehicles cost in the BRD already about 35,000 € with service booklet, pure history etc. Here it is: http://www.wetzel-automobile.de/ Simply select in the list The price is ambiguous. At the beginning is 20,900€, then 23,900€. You have to clarify. My invoice is as follows: Buy and then drive. If what is, then a complete engine revision and just invest 10,000€. Then you would still not get out so badly. You can always pass something, even with vehicles with lower mileage. Only there you have invested more when buying. In addition, if the vehicle has down 240,000km, then here and there something has to be done. Otherwise you wouldn’t have done it. Besides, he could have done another 100,000km without anything. Now my question: What do you think? Thank you and lG from Austria, Willi

  • Does a navigator have to be in the 718 because you’ll never get rid of the box again?

Sorry for the many questions about the equipment, but next week I will conclude the contract for my 718th. Actually I don’t necessarily need a navigator. Is it true that it’s still wise to take one because it’s just standard and nobody buys me the box without Navi? Who has experience with it?
