  • BMW R – Re-initiator questions

Hello first of all, after I’ve been wandering around in various forums for the last weeks and unfortunately I didn’t find much I would like to get rid of my questions here. To me: I am 45 lenzen and for 10 years away from the motorcycle.Have before about a KAWA GPZ 600 R- Kaww Z 750 and ne Yamaha FZR 1000 actually only Japanese drove so everything in all about 50,000 KM with all 3 mopeds. Except for a fall and a fall of the slippery went out everything is still healing. Bin 1.80 Groß and bring about 95 kg on di e Libra. After the grossest paternal duties have been done in the last 6 years, I would like to deal with my passion for moped riding again. In short, the purchase of a machine is on after I drove the R 1100 R of a friend BJ 99 with 24000 KM, this motorcycle took me under its spell. The test ride with it was a real aha experience. Absolute track fidelity, a hammery chassis incl. ABS. In addition, the machine had a grip heater. ng , ne Corbin Sitzbank und die Krummer von an R 1100 S. The sitting position was so relaxed that I could have driven even 300km more. But then I drove about 200km and of course first carefully hit the first kilometers on little busy and well-developed roads in my vicinity again slowly. At the end it went quite fast and fast. So it should be a BMW R1100 R My budget is at 5000 € My question therefore: What should you do with this M otorrad eighten? (weak spots / useful accessories) How many kilometers during the used purchase ? (had thought so of max. 50,000) Is the R 850 R an alternative? Bj 97/99 identical to the technology ? Useful reading ,Tests. u.s.w Bin KFZ mechanic and used to repair my motorbikes completely yourself or with friends.Workshop and high-quality tool available. Thank you in advance for your competent and professional tips.

  • New purchase planned R1150R. Tips asked πŸ˜‰

Hello people short to me, I am 33, hot Mike and drive since 16 Lenzen Moped. So now after a short time off, due to necessary second car and the sale of my last moped, I have again a little free hand. The second car is gone, woman with convertible consoled… yes, I do not deny certain self-interest … and now I just like to say that without a mobile kit. Yes, everything can not be quite at all, so I looked again for Mopeds and there is the R1150R from B It resembles something of my old love, a Yamaha VMax, but has probably better qualities if I have read the tests correctly. The people who drive the part speak almost only positively of it. So I asked carefully at the dealer and there they told me immediately that the machine is no longer produced and in September the successor R1200R comes out. I have doubts about this, because I hate to buy the cat in the bag for about 14k which probably the intended price of the R1200R would be better. Also financially would fit better what is needed around the 8k… you have to save something nowadays. The fears that I have at the moment is to have a price drop on the machine later. Can someone confirm or deny that and what do you think about the moped in general? Is there anything else you should pay attention to? Tips on accessories? (From somewhere read by a good third-party manufacturer for the disc in front)

Who happens to be an independent entrepreneur and can help us with this topic.

  • Mysterious brake wear, or how does that work?

I am faced with the question of how a brake wear comes about as follows: 2 axles front disc rear drums, no retarder. In this configuration two vehicles are in use, same conditions. One of these I drive myself. Klotz changes each after approx. 120 000 km, discs with every second block change. Rubber HA after approx. 230 – 250 000 km, each with new drums. So it is with me and so it was up to a short time with the other vehicle, until a new driver on it I can understand the history very well, because I carry out the repairs. The vehicle was taken over by this with new blocks as well as new coverings and drums on the HA. After 37 000 km blocks down and also the drum brake pads down to the rivets. Simply to push the thing on the driver does not seem quite plausible, since the wear between the front and rear axle cannot be from the previous experiences. However, there are no heat cracks in the discs, not even in the drums. An attempt to push this to the quality of the supplier is no longer possible for me, since the same manufacturer has always been installed. Namhaft put Textar. For a clear diagnosis there are too many contradictions in the room for me, but perhaps one of the experienced screwdrivers has an acceptable solution.

  • Should I? Cayenne 955 Turbo? Fuel consumption sought

Hello, it’s my turn to treat me to a Cayenne. Have been thinking about it for a long time. Now my question to the Porsche community. What do I have to reckon with? I’m actually only travelling long distance on the AB. My daily distance is a total of 80km, everything is limited to 130km/h. So I won’t blow 250 every day. What are your consumptions? What do I really have to reckon with? Would be grateful about every contribution Dear Greetings Philipp

  • Buying advice Cayenne S (92A)

Hello dear community I have driven a BMW 530d for 5 years and made a lot of fun of driving. Now the family has become bigger and a good excuse for an upgrade It should be a gasoline SUV this time. I am between BMW X5 and Porsche Cayenne S. The tendency is more towards Zuffenhausen What do you think of that?https://suche.mobile.de/…/details.html?… First registration: 06/2015 Kilometer level: 51.900 km Fuel: petrol Power: 309 kW (420 hp) Price: 62.900 € It is a Leasing car. Accident-free. Front bumper is painted completely new just because of stone hits, the car gets two new tires in front and a new remote control for heating. According to the seller is a travel space of approx. 150€ inside. The car is being processed, therefore no photos. Should be there by the end of the week. I have a few questions. 1. Is this a good price? 2. Is 51.900KM too much for the price? I have seen Cayennes with less KMs but it is missing in comparison every Lots in equipment. E.g., Rear Entertainment is very important for the children and there are hardly any cars that have it 3. Am I going to miss the sports chrono? 4. Second maintenance is due at 60K. Is it an argument to lower the price? If so, how much should I expect for the second maintenance? 5. What should one generally pay attention to when buying Cayenne? Thank you in advance for your answers. Greetings.

  • Cayman S 3.4 Facelift problems with gas acceptance!

Hello friends. I have a little problem and hope someone can help me there. I’ve been on the 3rd gear (only the 3rd gear) power problems or gas acceptance problems lately. It looks like this. I’m driving on the highway wants to give gas on the acceleration strip and there’s just 3 sec. I’m in the 3rd gear at 2500-3000 turn/s and it accelerates as if I was in the 6th or so as if I had a turboloch (I know I don’t have turbo) The whole thing happened Unfortunately only rarely, however, the PZ could not help me. No error read out bla bla . It happens even only at full throttle and in the 3rd – Refueled always super plus 98 – Always warm driven – currently 63000km I thought about the clutch first however the speed does not go high so does not turn over. At the moment I give gas I also don’t hear the engine / exhaust sound or something. Just as if I had given light gas. Has someone had such a problem or something like that?
