  • Motorcycle purchase Cbf 600 or Suzuki Bandit 650

    Hello, I will start my training for the A driver’s license next week. Of course, a motorcycle should come right after that. Although I can only register my 18th birthday in the summer, I’ve been inquiring about different dealers in the area lately. Of course, one can now say that there is still time with the purchase, but the dealers who visited me said that from the beginning of April the motorcycle prices of new models would rise by 6-10%. My two favourites are the Cbf 600S and the Suzuki Bandit 650 S. Both from the year 2008 were offered to me by the dealers for 6400€ (including Honda: 1000€ driving licence subsidy; with Suzuki strong cash payment discount). And now I am unreliable, for which I should choose. The Cbf should have better handling and a little better brakes. The Bandit is supposed to convince by a stronger engine less Turbulence behind the windshield. Even though I’m here in the Honda Forum, there are maybe some of the one or even both of these models have driven and could tell me about it. I would be very grateful about that.

  • Retrieve restored vehicle abroad (EU) without TÜV and registered for two years

    Hello, I have transferred a BMW 525i, year 1993 from Germany to Romania and completely restored the whole coach there. Now it is finished and should return, but for two years registered and without German TÜV. Of course I can let the Romanian (called here RAR) do. My question: how can I get the beautiful car back to Germany now. Does anyone have a similar experience? Experience is meant, or legal security, no speculations! For proper answers I’m really grateful!

  • Audi S8+ as starter

    Hello, I will be on 4.6 20 years old and have my driver’s license only for 3-4 days. I would like to buy or finance an Audi S8+. The financing of the vehicle is not a problem so far, however I would like to ask if the insurance is 3 times the monthly rate or similar ?? I don’t know much about insurance, only knows that my father pays for his GLE quarterly ~600€. He thinks if I would also get insurance on his car, w Is this true or is that just half-know what your father says there? If someone is well versed in insurance, I would be happy if he could help me so far. TL;DR Audi S8+ as a novice driver – what about the insurance? As a novice driver on a GLE 350d with insure – really 2000-300€ more expensive ?

  • When does the insurance company report the EVB/insurance to the registration office?

    Hello together… The following case: My current car insurance runs until 23.01.2020 and I have already terminated it. I already took out a new car insurance (A) in May which should run on 23.01.2020. However, I have today by fax revocations (is also in order since no contract has been handed over and thus the cancellation period does not yet run). Also today I have taken out a new insurance(B) which now really run from 23.01.2020 sol l. Question: When do the new insurance companies report the EVB to the registration office? Not that now Insurance A has already registered a number that is valid from 23.01.2020 and it now also does insurance B and then problems arise? Or do the insurers only report the number shortly before the start of the insurance and I don’t have to worry about it? Can you ask the registration office for such a thing by phone or do you have to come by personally?

  • Place fees for permanent camping

    Hello, I have the following question. How are the fees for the permanent camping charged with you? With us there are flat rates. But I find that really unfair. There are people who are out daily, but I less often. Wouldn’t it be most interesting how this is solved on other CP?   • VDASH as VIDA – alternative

    Hello, I just recently came across VDASH, a very powerful tool, which was probably created by the providers (D5T5 from Prague) in order to activate / deactivate various functions in the Volvo by (chargeable) playing of software. In addition, VDASH also has free functions, such as the readout of errors (with Volvo error code) and the reset of the maintenance indicator. Since the handling with VIDA is not quite unproblematic, it would be out of I think it’s a real alternative to VIDA. What experiences have you had so far with VDASH? What is also very interesting to me is the business model. It seems to be legal – at least you get an invoice with a tax number and expulsion of the tax. Does anyone know how this works? Get the software directly from the VOLVO server in Torslanda and sell it very much cheaper? (according to D5T5 to about one third of what the contract workshop requires) In some countries there is already a high density of suppliers (e.g. the Netherlands). In Germany, however, there is not yet a single workshop that offers this. It is obvious that there are legal reasons for this. Gruss P.S.: I just saw that there are now also two suppliers in D.

  • Allow new cars without a letter from 78, but how???

    Hello rare but there is.. a never registered car from 1978 with 150 km on the clock you can no longer get wg. of the pollutant limits today without problems, just so allow… Does anyone have a tip whether this is possible, and how or what it needs to be observed?? because before I buy the vehicle and I don’t get it registered it wouldn’t be bad to know what to expect? mfg Andy

  • Missed opportunities in buying vintage cars – please experience!

    I have always been old- and youngtimer-friend, unfortunately so far and probably also the next time passive, because I have no time for such a car and will have. I had in between with the thought of getting something nice to me. In the end the mind has always won and I got cold feet. I still think back then and when again to the cars, which came into the selection at that time and think about what probably has become of them. The first Kandida t was a 79 W123 280C carburetor with automatic steering wheel. Rotmetallic with light leather seats and otherwise except for the electric window lifter full equipment. Absolute top condition of a retired dentist. I did not take it because I just started studying and thought I could not afford the fuel consumption. Another vehicle I sometimes think of was an 84 Jaguar XJ6 Series III in british-racing green with light leather equipment. After I already got the price gu I thought about it a bit differently, although I would have had the money and the garage space. Have you ever seen something like this before? Your stories please!
