  • Equipment and accessories

Good day. I’m new to this forum and wanted to say hello first, before I start with my question(s). I’m going to buy a Leon ST FR soon. As far as technology is concerned, I’m more or less clear about what I’m going to take, but it’s a little bit about personalizing the vehicle because I don’t necessarily want to hand it myself. At least not at the beginning. 😉 Then my indecisions – Nevada Weiss and Schwar are apparently the standard colors for the Leon. but white is already quite dirty. Therefore I wanted to ask what looks like with the Estrella Silver and Alor Blue, in connection with black rims and rough side mirrors? Do the colors fit? (on the photos you can hardly judge) – theft warning system including interior surveillance, back-up horn and towing protection. Is it even recommended? – LED interior light package. Is it worth it? (all described pears afterwards are also LED) – sports pedal kit and Has anyone seen it live? Is the extra charge worth it? – And what does the illuminated entry bar set look like? – Switch lever knob 6-speed in aluminium optics and decorative panel for the dashboard in aluminium optics. Is this only optics or plastic or whatever in aluminium color or is real aluminium? Everything is provisional. I know too many questions, but hopefully you can answer me one or the other.

  • Earns extra price for less kilometers and more power

Hello everyone. I have a small “luxus” problem at the moment. And I found 2 Leons, almost identical. Leon A: 7000km mileage, 150hp (diesel), EZ 07/2015, rear-view camera Leon B: 100km mileage, 184hp (diesel), EZ 12/2016, 3000€ more expensive Now my problem is whether the 3000€ extra worth 30hp more and the 7000km less. On the one hand I think that the 180hp is perhaps more fun and has a better resale value. On the a On the other hand, the Leon’s price seems to be relatively low anyway, and with 150hp you don’t seem to get ahead unfloatly. So the question to the community. Greetings and thanks, me EDIT: Forget it, both are the diesel engines, sorry.

  • Full LED headlights at the new Leon

Hello together, I’m concerned with the question of what it looks like in case of a defect on the LED headlight. Just then when a LED is broken. Then you have to replace the whole headlight directly and if yes where is the control unit installed ? But hopefully not integrated on one of the headlights ??? LG Eagle1982

  • Does the new ForFour really consume so much?!

Moin moin, because my current smartie (42, petrol, BJ 2004) unfortunately unstoppably counters the engine death (has 90tsd KM down), should be a new one no later than next spring. I actually liked the new ForFour with automatic transmission, consumption should be combined according to Smart at 5.0 liters. Sure, in reality it is above, but by how much? In the net I came across test reports, which partly report on a consumption of ELF liters, that would be d I drive 90% of the city and now have a consumption of 6.5 – 7 liters with the old ForTwo Coupe, which I already feel is quite high. Does someone drive the new ForFour and can say what to the consumption? Thank you very much!

  • Honda CR-V 2012 – fourth generation from November

The 4th generation starts in Germany on . Engines: 2.2 diesel with 150 hp (only with all-wheel drive – newly developed) 2.0 petrol with 155 hp (also with front wheel drive) 1.6 diesel with 120 hp, probably starting in 2013. more here: and here: Quote: Although Honda offers the CR-V as a two-liter gasoline engine with front drive, the company expects most customers to choose the optimized all-wheel drive, which now responds much faster than the previous one thanks to a new electronic control system. the previously used hydraulically activated technology. Thanks to the new development, the all-wheel drive has no influence on the fuel consumption, says Honda.http://www.focus.de/…/…-v-compact-but-grosszuegig_aid_783660.html Photos:

  • Oil change in principle every year or only after Km interval

Hello For lack of time I have driven my motorcycle (SV650 EZ11/99) since the last oil change a year ago only about 1000 km. In the instructions is oil change of all 12months/6000km. Now I wonder if I change or not, because it is according to time interval but according to km interval is still almost new. Does any of you know why the oil should be changed after a certain time? Does it also age in the stand? If I buy new oil somewhere, I also do not know if it is not possible there with other vehicles is often only one km interval. Does this have an important background with the time interval or is it perhaps just a kind of assurance that the driver (at least once a year) controls the oil level? Or is it rip-off? What do you mean? Greetings and a great start to the season!!!

  • Speed starts at 9000 revolutions and closes at 140km/h

Good morning, newbie here and no expert in engine technology, so please forgive me in advance 🙂 I have the following problem: If I am with my Suzuki GSXF 600 Bj93 at approx. 9000umdr., the speed is slashing and there is a misignition sounding noise 😉 After approx. 2-3 and some gas removal you run again as if nothing had happened. Lt. The previous owner is the machine has been throttled about 3 years, is also registered with full PS number (86) and runs also b is 9000umdr. normal. I guess it’s a problem with the throttle, since throttled motorcycles just close in the speed range up to 9000umdr. and up to 140 km/m. Does anyone know this phenomenon or has a solution proposal? Greeting Erik

  • Repaired pre-damage —> New accident

Moin! I would like to share my current situation with you and hear your experience if someone had similar. My vehicle had a repaired damage to the passenger door, which according to the dealer was fixed for approx. 250€. In addition, a rear damage i.H.v. approx. 4000€ was also fixed without invoice. (In retrospect I am smarter and would only buy accident-free vehicles, whereby the purchase price was very good). To the problem: I am in parking condition (have on the other side of the car). n side parked) a van drove into the side and took the whole side with him, including damage on the axle. On the rear bumper is a approximately three hands wide scratch damage. The passenger door is also damaged. My expert doubts that the insurance regulates the damage so, because for the pre-damage there are no invoices. To the question, if one could not calculate the pre-damage, he could not answer me exactly. damage is very likely due to the axle. I would like to avoid long processes that allow the pre-damage to be calculated out. Is that possible and how would one calculate if the vehicle had a value of 20k (accident-free) 20k – pre-damage 1 (-250€) – pre-damage 2 (-4000€) replacement value at the time of damage 13500€? Thank you
