  • Y tires on eSpacetourer?

Hello everybody, in my vehicle license this is on our Spacetourer (electro) tyres of the size: 225/55 R17 101Y belong Y = speeds up to 300km/h The eSpacetourer regulates at 130km/h. Is there a higher sense for this or can I also have flaps in V (up to 240km/h) drawn up? What would be very easy to get with winter tyres…

  • Processing SAT S-Line rim replica?

Hello, I’ve often been looking for new rims for my TT in Ebay etc. lately. So far I had found the best Postert-S-Line replicas, but now I’ve stepped on the SAT rims (see picture). According to information from SAT, these rims are also slightly bent inwards like the original S-Line rims, which is probably not the case with the Postert rims. But what about the quality or the processing of the SAT wheels, someone can write something to me and fit into it. the original covers of Audi on these rims? Greetings Kongensbarn

  • P8 Getting hot

Hello P8 municipality Have a problem. My Starlet P8 gets hot on the highway at a permanent speed of 130 km/h. (according to GPS). If I drive less than the 130 everything is fine. Also I have no problems in traffic jams or in city traffic. If I then let roll again at 110k/h the temperature indicator is again in the middle. Has anyone ever had such a problem? It is a Toyota Starlet 1.3 SI ,EZ . 1991, 3 Door, 2E-E engine, The cooling system is There are no other leaks either. Since I can’t drive so fast permanently in Switzerland, I noticed this only when I was on my way back from the holidays through France. What can that be? I thank you for your answers. Many greetings.

  • Tonal / Compass: 1.3 Plug-in Hybrid Heating

Quick question about the 1.3 plug-in hybrid in Alfa Romeo Tonale and Jeep Compass. If I understand the system correctly, then the burner drives the front wheels and the electric motor the rear wheels. How is the heating implemented in electric mode? Is there the possibility to heat and cool purely electrically? Most plug-in hybrids can do this. The exception is Hyundai / Kia. There the plug-in hybrids can only cool purely electrically and need to heat the waste heat of the burner s.

  • Jeep ZJ electronic spins

Hello together, I’m new here and therefore still a bit clumsy, but I can write at least :-D. So, I bought my first car about 1/2 years ago, a Jeep ZJ, 4.0 Laredo, bj.98′ When collecting and for another 3 months everything was fine with the car. When I left it for 2 weeks then the battery was empty, thanks to a good motor that started quickly I could then charge the battery again without a charger. Since then the battery is another 2 times lee r. That’s only when I didn’t drive it for more than 1 week. So I assumed something wasn’t going to work, but I didn’t have the time and not the necessary tool to measure the currents. If you want to say something about it/further information–> goes to point no. 6. But now in the last month, funny, illogical things have always happened, which have to be attributed to a problem of electronics/electrics. I list these all times: 1. Starter engine does not get genu g current, I had trouble, because engine to start after I drove about 1h. It seemed as if the battery was empty, but this could charge for an hour… the generator works according to voltage meter on my dashboard. As the engine ran again we drove again about 10min, took a short break and then worked again perfectly. 2. Transmission does not switch correctly, has happened to me so far only once, possibly user-error… engine started, gearbox in D ges the engine is almost soaked off… speed down to approx. 500 rpm and has stopped, so I got off the brake, got on gas and that was everything, the rest of the ride went normal and without problems… 3. Light switch does not switch correctly, smallness but still a bit question-würdi g, the Cherokee has a rotary switch, which can be changed between off-standing light – dipped-beam. So if I switch from stand-on to dipped-beam in the evening, and if I want to switch off the light on arrival and exit the car, I have to switch back to the stand-on before the off, the function also works, I switch off from there, but the headlights go on again…??hää? Speak the light, although the switch is off… if I still have to turn off… On a stand-off and again on a turn off, they finally go out… 4. Mileage suddenly, even the little one, once I noticed that the indicator for the mileage became weaker and weaker, until this completely out true…I drove on, because the indicator is not particularly important to me during the ride. The next time start the light then went again. 5. The interior lights go underground long, sometimes the lights go nac 6. After I was allowed to borrow a measuring device for the current from the store, I took off all the fuses as well as the total consumption, result: no current except the one fuse for the stationary heating and the alarm system, together these 30mAh… the next day for the antenna from the radio no more… the fuse from the radio I have removed to measure, I say close I don’t understand… so nothing at all, like if the speakers don’t get any current…grobly said nothing else except the radio’s display..I guess, however, that I have to adjust something with it again, and not that the electronics is doing something wrong… 7. Here I keep myself short, thank you for taking the time to read all the 7th points. Thanks a lot. e for your help. Friendly greetings Liam 😀

  • Grand Cherokee – Your experiences

Hello Jeep driver, I am interested in the Grand Cherokee as the next car (business leasing). As a 3l diesel, either overland or summit. Currently I drive an XC60 (5 cylinder, diesel, AWD, 230hp), but it is too hard suspension for me and compared to the BLP in the meantime simply too expensive. I find the Grand Cherokee beautiful, large, super equipped and with the air suspension as a comfortable-cruising driver very appealing. That also applies to the engine. , I drive with around 8,5l. Interesting are also the leasing rates, which are with a 4 year leasing with 40tkm p.a. net at around 640€ (Overland). That’s same with an XC60. I find no really better alternative – X5, GLC, XC90 o.a. is to be picked up. KIA Sorento is not bad, but still too much rice bowl. I am interested in your experiences with the Grand Cherokee. What do you like, what not. Is the summit really worth its extra price or “rich” d He Overland. Thank you very much! Best regards, Thali

  • Aygo Gasoline vs Yaris Diesel

Hi am thinking of leaving my Yaris D4D old model, and getting me an Aygo because of the high fuel prices. I don’t see any sense of driving the diesel further because it’s everywhere tarier like a gasoline from the tax, insurance, inspection, partly at the tank, maybe even the spare parts. Is it worth changing from diesel to petroler? My driving performance is so about 40000km a year. Would therefore like to take the Aygo because the consumption is about the same mi t the Yaris Diesel ,and just insurance , tax and so on is cheaper. Would get along with the smaller car also because the Yaris I have hardly ever used properly. Would the pay off ?? Greeting froggi

  • Connect Yaris I MP3 Player to Radio

Hello together! I have installed the original cassette radio from Toyota in my Yaris I and now want to connect an MP3 player to this device. In the way that it exists in some vehicles for the IPod. I had always used an adapter cassette, which now does not work properly and the quality was also rather modest. I don’t want to install a new or other radio, because I just don’t like it, as it usually looks like, if you use the Origin I want to put a kind of bypass on the radio, which makes it possible for me to feed the audio signal, which is delivered via the 3.5 mm jack plug from the MP3 player. I will expand the radio subpart tomorrow when I find time and see if I can see how this can be technically implemented. If jmd has an idea or experience about it, so I’m grateful for any help. That’s possible, I’m very grateful. It’s technically nothing more than this radio, a kind of multiple plug in the direction of the speakers and then this radio re-installed AND another one, which already has this MP3 connection, to connect with and then hide. That’s the complicated description. I assume now that I don’t need a second device, because I just want to feed another signal. Similar to a hands-free system or a CB Funkg guessed (formerly common), which also emit their sound signals via the loudspeakers. I could also imagine to convert a hands-free system accordingly, however, I assume that it would have to be easier. Btw: Yesterday I installed a bigger horn. The little one now, of course legal, rhinestones in the size and volume of a Mercedes E-Class….hehe… look forward to my trip to Ulm on Thursday. I think there will be some opportunities (such as the) in which I have to stand up honking…. Greetings from the Saar
