  • petrol save on starlet

Hi me would just fill in the following: if it is relatively downhill it is worth it to let the sprite consumption roll it doesn’t matter? Because I sometimes have the feeling through the motor brake to save a few drops. Since I don’t have much technical idea I’m curious about your opinion lg

  • 1er BMW or Mercedes A-Class used

My little sister wants to buy a car. From the house of the fraud nothing comes into question. So only BMW and Mercedes remain as serious car manufacturers. It fluctuates between a 1er and an A-Class. She reaches the basic engine, so about 100hp gasoline. Besides PDC she has no big equipment requests. It is to become a relatively young used, so about 3 years to 4 years and not too many km. Now the question arises, which of the two of the unproblemat is more expensive and what you should pay attention to and where you get more for your money. Both are not cheap. So around 15 TEURO can spend it.

  • Retrofitted soot particulate filters – problems?

Hello, I read a few weeks ago that there are problems with Audi vehicles (perhaps also with other brands) with the effectiveness of the filter in practice. The problem seems to be the necessary operating temperature of the filter in order to become effective at all. Wouldn’t want to say more about it. To start the topic: Who of you has already retrofitted? Does the filter have the effectiveness promised by the individual manufacturers? he filters suitable for chip-tuned A2, or are there certain limitations, such as loss of power etc.? Let my questions be neutral here. The discussion should become factual and remain. I greet you

  • New utility car approx. 3500-5000

Good morning, our car is an economic total damage (Renault mode EZ 2005, 111hp, 70k Km), now a new one has to come and I look for support by information. We drive about 10-15k Km a year, mostly in the city (PLZ 452). For us a must: – automatic – parking assistance min. back – air conditioning – car is a bit higher when sitting, like our old – may not be much bigger than a mode, if only something or something smaller – PS should be as strong as in mode – good Everything else is luxury and you are happy about it (seat heating, cruise control and and and). The price should be approximately in the range of 3500 to 5000 EUR, if it is something about it and is worth it, will be pondered. Once sat in a mini, there is felt the intervertebral disc incident guaranteed, our mode was extremely soft on the road. The car should not be the most expensive in maintenance, in terms of fuel consumption it will be with the currently in focus lying in the city traffic a little more become, because we probably do not get around it, at least a gas foot is not available. I am absolutely car rental, that is not my area. I read again and again there are good and bad automatics with abbreviations, with which I can quickly do nothing. One recommend cars up to max. 125k Km, the other say there are also models that hold loosely 300k Km and can also be considered. Car should be used about 3-5 years and then replaced with a newer used one and then sold. Which bothers me somewhat with the mode that the timing belt has to be replaced every 5 years. Otherwise it was a good car. Current cars, which after mobile… and classified ads in this price range are in focus: – Citroen C3, 109 hp – Opel Meriva A 105 – 125 hp – Renault Mode, 111 hp All have between 60-80k km on it, which seems good to me. nderen Thread is recommended a Golf 5 Plus 1.6 102 hp from 2007-2008 for 4000, but I don’t find one in this price region, but it sounds very interesting. Do you have any information about the mentioned cars (recommend/recommend) do you have any other suggestions? I’m grateful about the answers and hope I can look for a new car a bit more accurately. LG Paco

  • Search Van / bus for 4 children (+ space for strollers)

Hello, we are currently driving a Toyota Verso, which is sufficient for 5 people so far, but since there is another new generation, something bigger has to happen. Budget would be approx. 25,000€, not older than 3 years max. 45,000km, sliding doors would be nice but no need. Application profile: Mainly short distance in urban traffic (between 3 and 15km), during the holidays / on weekends irregularly even longer distances, like approx. 12,000km a year. To the driving profile probably no diesel (or?) fits and thus fall most buses (Tourneo, H1, Vivaro & Co) through the grid?!. VW T5 / T6 can hardly be found as a gasoline truck and are too expensive for me. The compact vans with their “emergency seats” (which I also count to it) also fall out, with 6 or 7 seats there is definitely not enough space in the trunk for prams / purchases and also sometimes holiday luggage, so I am open for all suggestions Thanks already.

  • SUV, van or station wagon? Lots of space is a must..

Hello together, we have a new car purchase in the near future. I write “again” because we have had a lot of bad luck with cars in the past years. Over 80,000,- purchase prices for 5 cars in 6 years (Audi A 6, 2x VW Touran, Chevrolet Orlando, Hyundai Santa Fe) an absolute must is a lot of space, since we have a dog with 80kg, as well as it must be an automatic. “luxury” equipment rather secondary (seat heating, Navi, sliding roof, leather cruise control etc.) as we this time ni I was thinking of Mercedes (we haven’t had it yet) whether it was a station wagon or bigger. However, I have read that some models are susceptible to rust…. Recommendations? Thank you LG

  • Buying advice Family van

Hello. Well a more general request: Search for a new car (because of new generation). The following requirement profile: Daily driving performance about 40 km (road). Car should have a lot of space without having to look like a boring van directly: Get offspring, therefore a pram has to fit in easily (plus luggage for longer rides) AND a medium-sized dog box (for a Labrador-Rüden) must fit into the trunk. If possible with sliding doors – but is not a must. I could pay a total of 15000 euros (i.e. minus the C5) for my current C5. Cars should not be older than 5 years and should not have more than 150000 km on them. I’m looking forward to your suggestions.

  • Sporadic “painting” while steering and starting

Hello together, I have for some time been having strange noises that occur sporadicly while driving and also when starting. It makes no difference whether I steer left or right. Usually it occurs at low speeds (about 10km/h), e.g. when starting and turning at a crossing. If the noise is audible, there are also slight voltages on the steering wheel. A user has put a video to a very similar sound on YouTube. Here the link:htt ps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DpNHOwslqUw I acquired my cupra only about 3 months ago in a new state. He currently has 3,000km on the tacho and is in the original state. I came across the following aspects when searching the Internet: *defected cathedral warehouse *defected coupling rods *defected drive shafts Do these aspects fit to this noise? Or does someone have a similar sound and know the reason for it? I would be very pleased with answers.

  • Wi-Fi connection between phone and car

Hello everyone, in anticipation of my ST Cupra, which is probably to be built in a few days, comes to mind again this question: How does the connection of the smartphone (I have an iPhone) via WLAN of the car work, what is it good for and….is it not that if the phone is connected per wlan, I can stream music about it (?), but then no more mobile data is sent/received, and so I am in a “wlan-sackgasse” (so said the Telekommann in the hotline, a Is I had WLAN, but the router “offline” was? Thank you for your answers and everyone a good slide!!!
