Hello together, I need some help. And I want to connect an alternator to a system that consists of a battery and a few consumers. The alternator is constantly driven, while consumers do not always need juice. Now the question is how to wire it properly without risking overload or overvoltage? Rich plus and minus out, because the Lima itself regulates this or do I need one of the three pins on the additional plug somewhere This is the alternator :https://www.ebay.de/itm/385346156498?… The system works with 24v and two new 12v batteries are switched in series. In the appendix you can also see the data sheet of the Lima.

Fill AGM battery?
Hi, my Audi A5 is equipped with an AGM battery. The battery doesn’t seem to have that much capacity anymore. Now it had to charge more often with my CTek. You shouldn’t use the recond mode with AGM. Battery seems to be an OEM battery (has an Audi part number on it). Some batteries could be filled with distilled water. At AGM I find mixed opinions. With me you can see under the sticker the plugs. So I could theoret until everything is covered with water again. Is there an expert here on the subject?

Test drive with more than 30 minutes without escort?
I drove the Tesla 3 from time to time as an official car. I think it was the LR variant, but I can’t say it exactly. I was quite surprised. I didn’t even think that the speedometer was missing (was my biggest criticism after the optics). The autopilot was rather a step backwards to my current BMW, but I almost never need it anyway. But the driving fun was all the more there. Now I would also like to test the performance, because this was actually my variant e was. Had informed me now also for a test drive. However, in Munich one probably drives something through the city, on the highway, once acceleration and back again. With the companion, which always distracts, the added value is for me almost towards 0. With a longer drive you notice nevertheless much more, which would then disturb in everyday life. Apart from Musk’s tip to buy the Tesla 3 and give it back 3 days later, I found no way to drive it longer. buy the Tesla all “half blind” or with a rented test drive?

BMW F01 750i Switch spark plugs and ignition coil
Good evening people, I come from Freising. I’ve had the phenomenon the week that the car constantly jumps into the emergency program and tells me to drive moderately. Engine restarted error again and went away. Since today the error no longer goes away engine runs out of troublesome a cylinder. BMW Service Mobil was reading out error. Spark plug ignition coil or injector cylinder 6 injectors were exchanged at 90,000. Is someone near me that can change spark plugs and ignition coil ? BMW currently has no time due to the many winter bikes change ?

Purchase advice Automatic or manual transmission with concrete question of understanding 🙂
Hello guys, I have a concern to ask if the control car or the automatic transmission. First of all – I need a new car, because the 4-wheel golf has given up the spirit. Many kilometers and many wear parts have led to it being slaughtered now. He had an automatic transmission and has actually run quite reliably and well. Previously I drove an Opel Corsa B as the control car. Since I had the 4-wheel golf, (approx. 2 years) I have the switching I find the luxury of not switching really cool. But it’s also that I am a low earner and have already felt that the automatic consumes more. I sometimes drive short distances, but also visit my parents often and drive there about 4 hours of highway. For me now the question arises whether I buy something like a four-way or five-way golf as a switchcar or automatic. (doesn’t necessarily be a golf) What I’m now gru The question is: Does a 4-speed converter on the motorway consume more than one shift car in the fifth gear with the same power and weight? So I’m really interested in understanding this. Let’s say that we have two 4-speed golfs, both of them equally heavy, the same model. One has the four-speed automatic transmission and the other has a 5-speed manual transmission. If both of them are now on the motorway 120 km/h straight If you say that the automatic transmission still consumes 0.5 – 1 liter more even on the highway, then I would think about a control car. If you say that does not make any difference, because both are in the highest gear and both have the same rotational number, then I would actually have to do it. h buy an automatic transmission again, because in urban traffic the luxury of non-switching is simply worth the extra consumption and money. Do you basically understand my concern? So it is also an understanding question… How this behaves with a very modern automatic transmission with e.g. 6 steps would also interest me, but in fact this will not be financially inside. Financially it will probably be a 4-stage automatic. (budget approx. 2500 Euro) rage, what do you think of stepless gears or automatic gears like that used in some Corsa C (this Easytronic)? They consume little AND I drive automatic, but both are not really popular… Dear Greetings and thank you for your answers, Johannes 🙂

Not another Newbie “I’m looking for the perfect beginner car” thread!!!
Unfortunately I try to get as much information as I can and to put my ideas into practice. Facts: 1) Berlin, city, lack of parking 2) I always drive, woman usually drives with, sometimes co-driver 3) I haven’t got the rags yet – but am Ü25 4) I have a car buddy who knows very well 5) Connection to a cheap workshop, also likes to screw itself 6) I guess I will drive under 10,000km a year; more city, from time to time should 1) Would like to drive BMW again (my old one I sold), but would also accept me with golf or Skoda or the like 1a) The BMW should have ASC+t 2) Should look somewhat sporty, I like zb Stafenhecks 3) Would not spend more than 2,000€, theoretically I could.. But as a beginner no desire on it 4) Maintenance should be reasonably favorable; insurance runs over father-in-law 5) Interior equipment is for me 6) Iwas in the range 90-120hp Currently I observe above all E36 Compact 316i and 318i, have read me a bit pure and I can live with the haters and “problems”. I find it nice small, economical, sporty and the trunk mega good when you have to go to IKEA and above all the things seem to be quite cheap to have.. Could have had one for 1,400€ with new TÜV, 107tkm, top maintained etc. but not so important, climate and seat heating should already be in there. I was too slow, I didn’t agree immediately – still annoy me about it.. Questions: Which models would you recommend to me? Can you also look at the E46? I have read that the more cocks should have than an E36. Also I have read that a Golf 5 should not be as good as a Golf 4, on the other hand I like the few (not sporty enough). Right nice I find the Golf 3 as a convertible but I don’t want to drive a convertible I’m also watching an A at the moment. lfa Romeo 147 – that should have some quirks and be relatively expensive in maintenance/reperature..?! Would I just like a bit of input and a few ideas Would also be happy if you would review the ads that I would put in over time.

Find new automatic car for the family.
Hello dear people, I am currently looking for a new car for the family. My criteria: 1. when it goes the price should move in about 15,000€-20.000€. 2. the mileage should be best below 100k, but does not have to be mandatory with a good offer. 3. the age should not be older than 6 years. 4. Definitely gasoline! 5. definitely automatic (this should be as reliable as possible) 6. Size should go to the station wagon (no SUV) Currently First place is a C-Class T model (S205) I already tested such a model (C180). If possible the new similar comfort should offer when driving. But preferably an above-mentioned C-Class as a T model. Problem is with the above-mentioned desired car unfortunately that I currently find no good offers. (PLZ 44… +100km) I am happy about every tip. Thank you very much in advance. I am happy about inspiration

Liquid tempered glass as permanent sealant?
Hello dear friends! Who has ever heard of you from the liquid glass? This is supposed to be a completely new product on the market. Supposedly, this is a kind of mirror seal that guarantees permanent protection and mirror gloss. So my conditioner doesn’t know that. I’ve heard from an acquaintance that his team leader sealed his 911 convertible with this liquid glass and he’s totally thrilled. So, I’ve only known the usual seals like Nano, Teflo until now. n and Swiss-Wax. Did anyone of you have such experiences?

Long distance with the A7
Hello municipality, instead of always just “meckern” I would like to give a positive report about my yesterday “long distance trip”. I had to travel yesterday a drive stick of 1270 km, all BAB (A9,A4,A5,A8). I just noticed that the highways are named after Audi models … Well, back to the topic, so 1270 km on a day in the A7, 3.0 TDI, 245 hp, ASS, sports seats and 20″ rims with 265/35/20 Dunlop winter sports 3 D. The road conditions were mixed with light Snowfall (A9) over snow-covered roadway (A4 in Thuringia) up to dry roadway in the Saarbrücken area. My pure driving time (breakouts out calculated) was approx. 9 hours 15 minutes. The average speed was approx. 138 km/h. Doesn’t sound that much, but I had many and long sections in which I drove 200-220 km/h, but also those in snow-covered roadway … there is still slower. I have to say that I don’t often have so many km at a snow-covered road. The journey in the A7 was a bright joy from beginning to end, even after 50,000 km of total kilometers. The fact that there was little traffic and no traffic jams was certainly very beneficial to the joy. (Last I took more time from Austria for 675 km back) Apart from that, I think the “Siebener” is absolutely suitable for long distances. It is a completely fatigue-free driving possible, even at higher speeds. On arrival at home, I still felt very comfortable, had no back or any other pain, that speaks on the one hand for the seats and also for the “well-being atmosphere”. No matter what street conditions were prevailing, I always had a feeling of absolute safety. No slinging, no swinging, no sliding … you just pull your track, so it should be. The 20″ wheels also convey a good road contact, the Wa The comfort is absolutely in the frame with AAS, even on worse sections. Only at the unwind comfort one could “pull up”, but is due to the low tire cross-section. I don’t know if I would mount these tyres again. I had Pirelli Sottozero (but in 19″ … they had more grip. But I don’t know if it might be due to the lower cross-section. Otherwise the combination is absolutely recommended. For the best I am absolutely satisfied with the consumption of 9.4 l. I would certainly not have been faster with a petrol engine. Since I would have liked to use an S7 I would have been interested in its average consumption. (Who has experience, would like to post) S7 back or forth, the motorization that I drove, if you are honest, is quite enough. I had the impression of being undermotorized at no time. Deceleration behind slower, or suddenly sheer The advantage of this “long-haul journey” was that I no longer noticed my clattering door panels. But it’s my turn … because that’s annoying to me, especially the ignorance of AUDI. … but that’s a different topic. So, conclusion … “quiet” car, suitable for all situations of life, a look for longer rides and not only for the “gallery”. The wheel-tire combination is perfectly fine, and if you’re honest the 245 Ps are also completely enough. Well, what I noticed, I have seen on the whole tour maybe 2-3 A7 … more not … where they hide only all So, End … Greetings of the Audifan
