    Hello people, I have a flaming annoying squeaking noise behind the handshake while driving when I’m driving over floor waves of fan and glove compartment lids are definitely not. have I already pulled everything up and greased with the result “Gräusch still there”. the chirping could not be fixed even by scattering bird poison someone still has an idea? thank you

  • Volvo V70 does not start to despair

    Hello you! So the following problem: I have a V70 diesel and in winter it doesn’t start any more! He has always had light start problems but now nothing more is going on! Battery completely new, pre-glow candles new etc… The mechanic also finds nothing special or says something different! Once the temperature sensor, which is also completely new, then it should be the lead light now… Vll. is it the starter motor! If I buy the parts now and then it is not that much money again! It sounds like when the battery is started rather like when the battery is empty, but that’s not so! I always let the car put on then it starts immediately! In summer this problem was not! Vll. has a similar problem and can help me otherwise I really have to give it away! Thanks lg mell

  • Brake no longer completely dissolved during the ride…

    Last but not least, the brake didn’t completely resolve itself at the front left. I probably drove a few kilometers and didn’t notice that because the cruise control was in it – the engine didn’t seem to work, nor did I notice any other signs during the ride that the problem was there. However, at the first stop at a traffic light I noticed smoke. The brake disc really glowed, the brake pads were squeaking and stunk, even the rim was hot hot! Guess, I was just about to fly around the front of the car! I waited a little bit until everything cooled down and the car was up. The wheel turned slightly harder than normal, in the same way as with a broken wheel bearing. After I hit the brakes a few times with the wheel key, I drove on the brakes. 2-3x deliberately braked properly, then everything was again i.O…. The brakes as such are just 30000 km old and not particularly rusty or so… I didn’t look at all good? The problem was not quite what happened to me. ‘I’m sorry for a brake check.

  • Quality of Alfa Romeo Giulietta

    Hello forengemeinde, in July 2018 I fulfilled a dream and bought an Alfa Romeo. Visually an absolute dream. A white giulietta with black leather and black sky. Also the small four-cylinder otto (150hp) knew quite well to please. Unfortunately I am not at all satisfied qualitatively. I bought the vehicle with 10,000 kilometers. Now it has 37,000 kilometers down and stood several times in the workshop. The following flaws occurred: One could now argue that these are all small things. Sure, but many annoying little things give at the end a bad overall package. One also remember that the vehicle is only 2.5 years old. Alfa Romeo has taken over everything about the warranty, however it is annoying to leave a new car permanently with the friendly one. My previous vehicles had not started to have such problems. This overall package has moved me now to hand over the Giulietta. How satisfied are you with your Jule and did you have similar problems?

    Hey dear motor talk community. I just registered here because I don’t know any more. I’m the owner of an Alfa Romeo 159 1.9JTDM Bj. 2005. I got the car as a gift because my uncle got a new purchase. I love the car and would like to drive it as the first car and thus deny the unforgettable experiences of a novice driver. However, there is a gigantic problem that makes me cook with anger and aggressions: What’s wrong with the insurances? The Alfa with 136hp would cost me around 230€ a year ONLY in insurance. (Partial casque, 150€ SBT, Street parking, Berlin) How to explain this absolutely naughty audacity, can someone tell me that? Why does a heck-driven Corvette 6.2l Z06 cost me with ~650 hp as an absolutely bloody novice in the maintenance 600€ less than a “mickriger” 1.9l 136PS diesel? I’d be happy if someone could give me an answer if it doesn’t give me a hard reason to buy me a couple of reasons because I’ll know a box of gasoline and maybe I’ll need to buy a little more!

  • 18 inches from the accessories without modifications ? V60D5

    Good day, from next week I will be a proud owner of a V60 D5 FWD Autom. his vehicle has Njord rims in 17 inches and these should serve as winter rims. After a long search I found the Volvo at the org. 18 inches aluminum has a very large ET ( 55). Most aluminums from the accessories have however ET45 the maximum what I found was ET50 and in the ABE ́s stands that the rims have to be entered and inside in the wheel box on the axle 2 have to be sniffed around on the plastic cover….what I do not want. Is there a solution or does someone know rims from the accessories with higher ET? Thank you in advance for your answers. Greeting Mykael

  • Volvo V70 2.0 Test driving

    Moin, I’m new here and I’d like to buy a Volvo. The place and its robustness have just convinced me. However, I would like to get some experience beforehand. Since I personally don’t know anyone who drives Volvo, I’ll ask here.   • Interior lighting

    Thanks to SF and read already make me smarter but not quite look through. My complete interior lighting no longer works when opening the doors. When I turn it on by hand. Have ZV without FB. Can then in my opinion only be on the control unit/relay for the time delay, or the switch to control the device. Now my question, where sit said parts and how many switches there are ? because no matter which door I open there is no light on. Entry lights and door lights work.
