  • Worst time to buy Cayman S 987/981?

Hello, I’ve fallen in love with the Cayman over the last few weeks, although the part is not even tested yet but don’t think that I can be too disappointed. I like the front of the 982 the best, but I find the sound with custom systems absolutely inappropriate to a car, which carries the Porsche logo. Therefore I would prefer the 3.4l engine accordingly. Unfortunately I had to find that the used car market at 987 though still some s offers, reasonable 981er however almost already get to the new car prices of 982ern. Does this have something to do with the order stop, so people are willing to spend more money for a used one or have the last suckers of their kind now come to a certain value stability? Does it make sense to think about a Cayman during the sale stop or do I save if I wait for the resumption of the sale to then hope for a small flood of 981ern It’s not like I want to turn around every euro several times but it makes a certain difference if I could buy a car for e.g. 55k but at the same time also have the prospect of getting it for me a little later for e.g. 45k. With the current used car prices it seems to me at the moment more useful to get me a 982 about business customer leasing and then take over it. However, I think that the forced breathing in a few years now even under the price of their predecessors will fall, as is the case with the last “real” 6.2 liters AMG 63ers. Thank you for your answers and greetings

  • Avensis Kombi D4-D

Hello, I am currently driving a Volvo V40 1.8 petrol. The car has 150000kilometers and I have to travel because of the profession in the future about 30-35,000 Kilmoeter. That’s why I thought it was a diesel. I now have an offer about an Avensis diesel with 85KW. The car has already 81000km but is in a very good condition. The timing belt is still made and equipment he has e.g. electrically foldable mirrors, air conditioning, radio CD, on-board computer. Year of construction 2004 (new model) The whole for 15000.- Now I would be interested in what you think of the offer as professionals and what you say about the mileage? When I looked at the car today, an average consumption of 7.8 liters was on the on-board computer ! That already occurred to me a bit high or is this normal with the vehicle? Thank you already in advance. MfG Thorsten

  • Noise Cupra 290

I wish everyone a wonderful evening. First of all thank you for the recording! My name is Jasko, I am 19 years old and I am from Luxembourg. I realized my great wish 1 month ago and bought my Seat Leon SC Cupra 290! I am very happy with the car. But unfortunately this joy is slowed down by a small problem. When I start my car in the morning (i.e. cold start) a noise is heard 2-3 times after the overturning. the feeling that the sound is also temperature-dependent! I had brought the car to the workshop two weeks ago, but they assured me that every Seat Leon Cupra would make that sound. However, I didn’t want to be satisfied with it, because I still have friends who drive one and never had that sound before. I then contacted ‘Seat Luxembourg S.A.’. Suddenly my dealer called me and said that I should bring the car over again. The car has been standing at the dealer’s house for over a week now. In the beginning there was suspicion of a V-belt. This suspicion, however, has not been confirmed. My dealer called me this morning and told me that he reserved my rental car until 17 June. He just said that it would not be the V-belt. Unfortunately they do not know where to look for the mistake and have to contact Barcelona now. So now I wanted to ask if someone has the same sound before and if he could help me further I also put in a link, where you can watch the video! (If this is not allowed, you might like to point out to me! Here the link: http://sendvid.com/ar2s9eb2 Thank you already in advance!

  • Legal problem

Hello, I have a problem with my used car dealer. I recently bought a Xantia Activa in a Renault car dealership (Ez 3/98, 77TKM). 2 weeks after the purchase it was found in a Citroen contract workshop that the front AFS cylinder is leaking. Since the error occurred so soon after the purchase I assume that this is a warranty case and have asked the dealer to take over the repair costs of 460 €. The dealer sees the case but as a guarantee case and according to the warranty conditions only 50% of the costs will take over. He justified his opinion by the fact that I have confirmed under witnesses that the car at the time of purchase I.O. practically bought as seen. I already called the lawyer and she meant the statement from the dealer is nonsense and I am right. Unfortunately I have no legal protection insurance and since the dispute value “only” 230€ the lawyer thinks that a lawsuit would not pay. Is anyone like me still right or what else can I do?

  • R 1150 GS Adveture

R 1150 GS Adventure Hello guys! Love mammals for some time with a BMW Enduro. Since I drive a lot with my girlfriend and my old XT600 is not quite so fit anymore, I have come after some KTM considerations now to the absolute, as I mean. I have always said, when I round the world, I will take a GS. It will certainly not do anything if I buy it like that. Unfortunately I have no idea at all about BMW GS models. I think about travel There will hardly be anything better for fitness and sociability. Small enduropasages over stock and stone, sometimes a green meadow are certainly no problem. I like the 1150 adventure best, how does the PS differ and the higher weight of the Anveture model? I haven’t driven yet, how do the boxer motors feel about driving pleasure and performance? Greeting desmo996

  • Question on the brake system component

Moin. I have a question for the BMW-Mopped experts here: Today one of my fellows at work got a part of a BMW motorcycle brake system. The whole thing connected with the order to build a demonstration model of. I work in the company that produces parts of the Bowden trains… The part is a black plastic box with a clipped lid. The whole is a bit bigger than a tipper pack. There five Bowden trains and a two-wire cable go out. Five trains on two plastic discs. One of the trains also operates the switch on which the cable hangs. So. There can be too many parts in this way on the brake system yes nu net. I want to know now what the part is, what it does and which train comes where on the motorcycle. Two of the trains are quite short, the others are longer and have 90° bent guide tubes for the trains at the end. The fifth train has such a plastic plug with a sealing ring on it at the end… e further information. Is also net my work, we have only been there for quite a while and that has just aroused my interest. I can take some photos of it tomorrow and put it in here, but maybe someone like that also knows what I mean for a bit.
