  • Clio IV Initiale Paris Phase II

Hello yesterday, we exchanged our Clio IV TCe90 for the Clio IV Initiale Paris Phase 2. The phase 2 has changed positively to the predecessor. Find the lights from the outside with front bumper more harmonious. The LED lights have become really beautiful with daytime running light at the front and at the rear. Otherwise the Clio Initale Paris is already a great car, very great materials in the interior, also the 6 gear switch impeccable. My wife is totally enthusiastic. yesterday everything was done right. Colour it was the Taupe beige, engine of the TCe120, I can’t say anything about it has only had 15 kilometers on the clock. The climate automatic really heats class compared to the predecessor. Difference like day and night, our Clio also has the new refrigerant. So at the end still some photos.

  • Current costs 850 T-5R

Oh my dears, I can’t get out of my head – so it’s supposed to be a T5R if I can bear the follow-up costs. Therefore my question to the community, which are moving a car like this + have to pay: – what does your 2.3 liter car consume on average – taxes – insurance / where insured Otherwise I can think windows are always down fast – automatic, lots of hp and quite heavy … but how are your experiences, a lot in the workshop or a reliable Companion – VOLVO just?! What else, there was the T5R with heating, or … who can possibly contribute to this a report of experience?

  • How long do you have to wait for parts in case of casco damage?

Hello, our C4 Grand Picasso, EZ. 12/2016, has been standing at the body builder since July after a self-inflicted accident. Repair is completed, but Citroen cannot deliver the installed steering gear. This should be replaced for safety reasons. The built-in steering gear is not supposed to exist at all. Several steering gears have been delivered on suspicion. The number on the steering gear is completely unknown to Citroen (according to the dealer who used the vehicle as Neuwa). This steering gear is also not available for the foreseeable future as a used part or in the accessories trade. We had the whole thing checked by a lawyer some time ago. Here it came out that we have no claims and that no manufacturer is obliged to supply any spare parts. Our bad luck if parts are not supplied. In this respect we could only wait for the delivery of the spare parts. The insurance offered us at the time In the meantime it has been established that the required part of Europe is not to be procured for the foreseeable future. This has also confirmed the insurance last days by e-mail. Question: How is the further procedure in such a case? The vehicle is not repairable for the foreseeable future. We already have to notify a specific date. When the vehicle is ready, asked. So far, there has been no answer from the insurance company on demand. We only hear: we have never had such a case before…..

  • Questions about the car tax

Hello everybody, I hope I have caught the most appropriate forum – if not please postpone. It’s about the question whether the car tax really goes after the first registration day or maybe there are exceptions. I drive a 330D convertible with EZ 28.10.2008. Accordingly, the space-based tax rate of 15.44 € is charged to me. If the vehicle had been registered a week later, I would only pay 369€/year instead of 463€/year. (Source: tax rate.de “Vehicle holders, who have registered their car in the period from 05.11.2008 to 30.06.2009, can also benefit from the new tax”) The vehicle has the facelift engine (N57) with Euro 5 and DPF ex factory as well as the vehicles in the following years, so it is purely about the date. That there are deadlines here is clear to me, however annoying that is. My question is now whether the “date to K”, i.e. EC type-approval in the vehicle certificate plays a role. the 22.01.2009 dated (comfortably after first registration). For the EC type-approval relevant pollutant class (row V.9) is the 715/2007*692/2008A. For every hint I would be grateful. It would not be the first time that the competent authority is mistaken and ask for nothing. Greetings and a nice Sunday still.

  • Nail at the Pirelli Seal Inside, what now?

I probably stuck a nail in one of my Pirelli Cinturato P7 “Seal Inside”. Probably means: I haven’t pulled it yet. So far I only see something that looks like a 3 mm flat-grained nail head in a groove in the profile on the tread. It can be a small piece of metal that is only clamped in, or just a real nail that has penetrated into the tires. I only discovered this thing because I just happened to be looking at the spot on the tire. I haven’t noticed anything about the driving characteristics until then. I’ve been watching the tyre pressure for the last few days, but air doesn’t escape, the tyre is tight. According to the Pirelli advertisement, I would only need to pull out the supposed nail now, and the seal mass seals the hole from the inside completely by itself. Say: Pull the supposed nail, and if the tyre pressure remains unchanged for days, is everything okay? I’m not really sure… How do I now recognize whether a tyre dealer knows how to sell or just wants to sell new tyres? A tyre dealer nearby, for example, immediately said that Seal inside tyres cannot be repaired and I need new tyres. A little research here in the forum and at Google has shown that this is not right and that Seal inside tyres can also be repaired in the specialist shop, they only lose the repair site. self-sealing properties. Or should I better go to my VW workshop? What is your opinion? Thanks already!

  • Cold start problems 2.5 TDI V6

Hello people, after changing the diesel pump (refreshly adjusted by Bosch service) the engine starts very badly. All necessary seals have been replaced. This only occurs in the morning when the vehicle has stood longer. Nothing in the fault memory. Does anyone have an idea where to look?

  • 1.8 “Vorsprung durch Technik”?

Hi guys! I’ve been driving a B5 with the 1.8 machine for half a year now. The behavior is curious: when I step on it he needs as much/less than when I drive in 5th gear 80-100 km/h (never more than 3000 rpm). This applies to short distances as well as for long distances alike. Only when using SuperPlus the consumption went down a bit (since recently not even that, less than 9 l are no longer in it even for long distances). m “cheapest”? – Does “gliding” in the 4th/5th in urban traffic what? -Or are 2000-3000 rpm generally better? What is your “consumption record” max/min? With me 8.0 l/100km (pure highway, almost permanent >160 km/h) and 10.5 l (rather short distances, “driving school driving mode” I guess Audi took the engine out of the offer for good reason Beautiful weekend Franz
