Moin, have the problem now, too. Not permanently, but again and again this characteristic sound appears. I have just made a change of timing belt and wants to do a longer tour with my 22 year old V40 1.8. Back and forth 350 km each. After reading a lot of things here, I wonder if I should start the ride at all without having to tackle the problem before. Some people seem to have been driving around with the noise here forever, others are doing the same thing. n a motor flush, change the oil etc. The question is whether it is even worth putting money into the car again or whether I should just let it go… Are there opinions too? ACC/Bremsassist “overrule” in case of error…?
Moin together! It was discussed at last often about the pros and cons of distance tempomat/brake assistant/collision warners… An important detail for me I have not yet mentioned, even in a current V60 operating manual not! Scenario: – Volvo equipped with driving chassis package cruist on highway. ACC/brake assistant suddenly lights up “red” and strikes alarm “Running danger!!!einself!”. – But man/driver sees: THAT IS NOTHING. The system SPINNT ! – *Behind the Volvo there is a ten-ton truck. – Would the high-tech vehicle start a braking, although VORM vehicle is nothing (= system error), but clearly HINTERM Volvo is in danger of trouble, the Assi system would provoke an accident and not avoid… Question – unfortunately my friend also did not have a safe answer: Can such a situation be overruled without idiots – e.g.: hearty pressure on the accelerator instead of the brake. the Volvo philosophy about such automatic systems is/was to intervene ONLY if the driver obviously does not do anything. Would he do something, and the opposite of what the automatic just thinks is right, the box would have to follow the driver again… ….or? As I said, in the current V60 guide I have been looking for exactly this question but unfortunately did not find an answer. For every info grateful next year is the order of a new potentially family-friendly company car, currently hot candidate is the V70 D3 with just OnCall + driving assistance package… mirv

Rust under trim – What should I do?
Hello. My good old Audi 80Quattro type B3 year ’87 slowly gets old symptoms. At the door at the back left the rust blooms under the decorative strip. For me the question arises what is to be done. Unfortunately I am absolutely no hobbyist, therefore I do not know myself at all. I have already repaired relatively superficial rust spots, but I do not trust this case. I have the fear that if I remove the groin and start to scrape, then I will quickly How can I see if the rust is only superficial or if the door is already through??? 1.8T motor constantly loses pressure..
Hello I have a problem. My TT engine loses the pressure at 4 and 5 gears after 7-11 sec. The engine first makes over 1.5 bar overboost then it jumps to 1.2-1.3 bar and then it goes up to about 0.6 bar when of course I press full throttle all the time when let go between time gas for 2-3 sec. then it builds up pressure again. I was able to pull up the 4 gears to 230 earlier without letting go of the accelerator, now I have to let go a few times gas pedal to reach 230. Someone knows the problem.. And I also constantly get the ignition coils capput. I only changed the car for 1 year but I already changed 4 spouls. One coil even lasted only 4 months. Someone had had had it already.

Winter bikes Cayenne
I wanted to have an original 20 inch winter complete wheel set installed in the PZ (RS Spyder Design wheel, or SportDesign II wheel). But honestly, I don’t agree with the price of 5600,- Euro. But the cheap 18-inch wheels are no alternative. Do you get the original wheels for the Cayenne somewhere at a “reasonable” price? If someone has suggestions about wheels from the accessory trade, I would probably also think about that. On 19.11.20 I allowed my van – an American model too – unfortunately a massive mistake was made here during the registration! Since I did not let the car myself, I noticed the error only where I received a tax notice from the customs over 811 Euro! I immediately to the registration service because I am friends with them! Uups there is in the papers n error! Immediately shine into the landratamt and let change! Now it is again correctly classified! The error was not by accident 0088 un On 14.12 he then passed the h report and the acceptances for trailer towing device so let change again … How is it going to go on???? Since the tax notice about 811 Euro is still in the room and I do not usually have 235 or 191 even so 500 Euro left for the customs! On 24.12 I received n write the my objection which I made obligatory on 30.11 abe r because of corona etc the processing can take months Say not now Book 811 too wrongly off??? How do I deal with it …
