  • Mondeo MK1 upgraded

Hello for now. Must ask a question here. I had my Mondeo upgraded 2 weeks ago with a cold running control valve. If it is worth it since it has only 58tkm down, was driven by the Opi. Since I have the vehicle I had defects that had to be fixed, e.g. exhaust from Kat Thermostat ignition cable spark plugs wondered me actually because the car did not run so much, but I think this is clearly due to the age. Now I think I’m getting ready to save taxes, Now I hear today that our dear politicians want to change everything fiscally. WAS THE ENVIRONMENT NON ENVIRONMENT ???? I despair here just because I find nowhere more detailed information about it and be stupid if it was all for nothing. I hope here someone has help for me. Greetings a happy Fordler

  • Mondeo: Inspection Yes or No

Hello I bought a Mondeo 2.0 petrol 03/2003 with 2 year old Ford warranty from the Ford dealer just under a year ago. In the meantime it has now run 35TKM. According to the book and badge this should now for inspection. I wonder now only: Do you have to go to the inspection? If so why and what advantages do I have from the annual inspections. Do I get the corrosion protection inspection even without complete inspection? After I called my Ford factory town have thought, yes, a regular inspection promotes the maintenance of my car value. Bla bla halt. In my opinion, the 250€ only promote the filling of the Fordkasse date I have for today in my factory town, now I just wonder if I really took this or if I would have my Mondeo wait in other ways.

  • First aid kit – expiry date

Minced meat has a date “to consume until xx xx xx” yoghurt has a date for the “minimum durability”, drugs have a date “usable until: xx xx” xx”, the first-aid kit has a “fall date” . I have to go to HU with my car in January and have found that the first-aid kit carries the “dead date 2011-06” . It is five years old, original packed and unopened. I object to simply throwing away the part, even if there is an offer at Aldi for 5.99 euros. Who is allowed to extend / change this date? Who is able to determine whether the content is still usable and conforms to DIN? Can a pharmacist change the date after checking the contents? What do you do with old dressing boxes? Greeting k2

  • Valve Play – Control Chain Clamping – Carburettor Synchornize

Hello – Andreas my name I currently have a Kawa GPZ 750 UT and have to do a few things to measure valve play – control chain spanning and even synchronizing the carburetor. If I have asked in the course and I have found nothing suitable here in the forum, I would like to ask the questions here in this topic below. My 1 question refers to the valve play set. I have the instruction for my bike and there is written “Crankshaft turn on T14”, gu t , I thought there will be T14 and 1 line that must stand with the fixed line in curfew. The T14 can be seen, however, T14 has 3 strokes .. I took the line, which stands exactly opposite of T, to measure. However, I am unsure :/ In the appendix is the instruction and the picture of the adjusting plate to see My 2 question My father brings me a compression meter To question how much pressure in bar the cylinders must show I found this here in the forum “The GPZ has a tolerance of 7.5 – 11.8 bar, with a maximum of 1 bar deviation over all 4 cylinders. The deviations you have are in the tolerance range, but are only all too low.” Who still signs this statement? Greeting

  • Carry out anti-theft after 21st acceptance?

Moin people, I bought last year a Kawasaki KX 250 F where the TÜV expired. I finished it so far but now I have the problem that a “theft protection” is not registered. The Kawa has no handlebar lock, I have only retrofitted an ignition lock. I then talked with 2 TÜV examiners and both meant that e.g. a brake disc lock under 21. must be entered and this is only done by the TÜV examiner who made the 21ers at the Mopeze My question is now, is it true what the two have said or is there another possibility and how can I look who or where the 21s has been made? I only know that the Kawa got a road registration right after the purchase, so 2004 and thus also a couple times came through the TÜV

  • GPZ500S spins around (speed swings, twitches, etc.)

Moin moin, I’ve been driving my “new” GPZ500S EX500D for a few weeks. I’m a total beginner and unfortunately I don’t know so much about any support. It usually only starts with a full choke in the cold winter weather between the 1-3 try. Choke I could not really take out, because otherwise she was at the lower 1.X rotation range and went out powerfully or simply. Keep her mostly in the 2 range with the Choke setting. The last times, w o I drove you, you needed a lot of gas to drive you and not strangle you, somehow it takes you worse – power is weaker. Sometimes or especially if I then go up with the speed, the GPZ starts to twitch (quasi short power surges forward). Occasionally, it has had the “full power” again and you didn’t twitch any more. In addition, there was a small loss of liquid (looked like petrol), it dripped at the start, where the seal v from the exhaust was. Condensation water? Everything was nice and good, she was still driving and I didn’t think anything about it because I thought it was the weather. But now to the real problem: I drove the GPZ with Sozius in the back, short stop after about 4km. Until then everything really jumped well. Only the gas took on again very weaker. When I was then 1km danger the speed went down and the motorcycle went off on the road in driving (despite higher speed). Try to start and failed: When I turned the Choke up again, she jumped on, the speed either went up completely or the motorcycle went out immediately after a short time. After about 1-2h where I put it off and pushed it away started the machine and speed was relatively stable for 5s and then the machine went down again with the speed and went out. Is it on the carburetor or what else could be the cause? Would I be very pleased about any information. MfG Philipp

  • OT: How many miles do you drive to work every day?

Good evening! Maybe it’s a bit off-topic, but I would have liked to know who is commuting everything here or how many kilometers you drive to your workplaces/training places/ Unis ect. every day? Question because I drive 86km daily (one way 43km 50% BAB / 50% country road). What distances do you find acceptable for daily driving? From when would a move be worthwhile for you? What kind of cars do you drive and what kind of fuel do you spend a month? Make your own start: Go lf 3 Variant 1.6/74kW give about 150-180€ depending on the,.. Would just interest me…. Thank you Daniel

  • Why isn’t Saab tuning his engines the same as Hirsch-P?

A happy new one. This is a question to the, screwdrivers among you or to those who know each other. I noticed in connection with the new Saab V6 Turbo in some threads that the tuning of the engine should not have been very successful (I still find it successful even if the turbotypical boom is missing a little bit), and that with Hirsch-Tuning everything should then be completely different, also the consumption should improve – was to be heard with some. But now to my r Question: Why doesn’t Saab just do this vote himself. I mean, they developed the engine and should know how to tick. Besides, they also have more resouces for R&D than deer – and don’t get it as well as the Swiss? Something’s not right – are the Swedes now so bad or the Swiss so good? So why is the basic setting in the new 9-3 Aero kept your view so “brav”? I’m already very excited about your Answers. Greetings Somic

  • Temperature of cooling water and cylinder head

Who can tell me the temperature range that the cooling water reaches in the 2.2 TiD ? I mean the normal range / the normal temperature when the engine has run well warm. Is there a way to measure the value or to read the measured value from the engine control unit ? The display in the dashboard has no scale and is therefore somewhat inaccurate; a value +-3 degrees on a digital scale would interest me. ar realize an indicator in the SID ? Besides, I want to measure the temperature of the cylinder head . The easiest would probably be the installation of a sensor for a digital termometer . But where ? Just stick somewhere will certainly not bring a permanently reliable result . I would even go so far as to have a small bore applied and paste the probe there . But now it is quite unhealthy to drill any hole in the cylinder head without plan . Does anyone propose this Is it good?
