Hello, one of you has installed the cockpit decors of Prewoodec at his XC90 and can put a few pictures in here – maybe even in aluminum or piano lacquer optics. What do you think of these decors ? Do the cheap ? Or help the optics to loosen up a bit.

Chiptuning 2.4 D 130 HP
I am currently looking for a big station wagon and I have seen two good offers for a V 70, 2.4D with 130 hp. I drove a S60 with this engine a year ago and found it really ok. However, since I would like to have a bit more temperament, there is the consideration whether one could not help with a small chip. Can you recommend something there or has already made someone experience with it. What looks like afterwards with consumption and defects. I am someone who mainly drives on BAb 140-160 km/h, but with extremely free track also sometimes well 200 km/h. Volvo V40 steering lock where to order?
Hello everyone! Please don’t pay attention to the spelling errors, I’m Dutch and still practice 🙂 Short question, today our “Wolfgang” was at TÜV and unfortunately what defects. So “Lenkschloss rattlet mit Zündschlüssel ein” is one of the flaws. The workshop told us we can order a new lock at the Volvo and he then installs it. But yes, I didn’t ask where and what exactly and therefore now my question: Where can I order such a lock best? Someone a tip? Do I have to pay attention to something or can I just order an ignition lock? Or does this necessarily have to do with the old key and ignition lock? Volvo V40 (06-1996) I am grateful for any help 🙂

Thermostat changed, now the cooler remains cold.
Hello, I changed the thermostat earlier, because the heating remained cold. Now the heating goes again, but also after half an hour driving the cooler will not be warm. Temperature indicator is exactly in the middle, cooling liquid is on max. However, I have the feeling that in this hose the bottom of the cooler is no liquid in it. When I open the fan valve comes only little water. Active High Beam – ECUs?
Hello and a happy healthy new year in the round Can anyone tell me which control unit is responsible for High Activ Beam and what else is controlled/regulated about it? Since we have the V90CC MY2020 we are dissatisfied with the workings of the “intellated headlights”. We are regularly, “meckert”, which we dazzle. From Kombi to XC90, advice needed
A nice good evening, I would like to switch from my station wagon to an XC90 and need your help and experience for it. My vehicle will change owner for about 30-35,000 euros, I want to pay max. 5000-7000 euros so that I pay between 35.000-42,000 euros for the XC90. Now I don’t know about the Volvo at all, whether it’s the equipment lines still the engines, whether only gasoline or petrol/hybrid I still have to find out what is more worthwhile and what is in the budget. Since I’m not yet 40 years old, I don’t like Chrome around, like a black design and not to bieder, then it would have to be a R or Black line, unless the grill is exchangeable against a black. My daily working easy distance amounts to 9km, that is 18-20km a day, hence the idea of driving the track electrically, but it’s not a must, it’s also the normal petrol driver. Clear T8 plug in would be good, but quite expensive. What can you advise a Volvo newling X90, which is the best choice for the vehicle.

Experiences with Dashcams incl. Hardwiring in S/V90
Hello, I got a Thinkware Q800 Pro 2 Channel Dashcam incl. park monitoring mode and would like to perform the installation in my V90 itself. https://www.tipronet.net/…amera-thinkware-q800-pro-set-rear-cam.html Is there anyone here who has already installed a Dashcam with hardwire kit? I have considered the following: the front camera should be positioned, at some distance, to the right of the IntelliSafe unit, to minimize possible interference/impairment of the unit. The power cable and connection cable for the rear camera should be guided behind the headliner over the WSS. Power cable then comes to the fuses in the footroom passenger side and is connected by electric thieves. Connection cable for the Rear Cam is installed on the front passenger side over the roof sky. The camera is then positioned (from inside) centered below the 3rd brake light. The hardwiring then allows the operation of both cameras in the parking monitoring mode.

Hi has been driving a brand new v70 D5 since February. In the meantime it has 15Tkm on the clock; find that an average consumption of 9 l/100 km (a lot of motorway at approx.160 km/h) is quite high. Thought that the consumption decreases after driving in. What experiences do you have? mfg
