Hello dear Volvo friends, I have to make my contribution now, on the topic cheap fuel or not. I can only recommend to spend the 1-2 cents more for the brand fuel. In another thread was said “The fill only dye and additives to it. Sure, the dye is absolutely amusing. The additives are however true miracle remedies. Since I have contacts to a manufacturer of additives and know that the ONLY come into brand fuel I am also willing to pay that. Recently, my left front light only works part-time. I fear once again a pig-etured stay at and like to take this into my own hands. Question: is the 1st DIY-like feasible, and if, 2. with how much effort involved? I heard/read, Xenon burners would always be exchanged in pairs. Is there anything there or just money making? Urgently Needed Help: Dangerous Engine Behaviour
Hello. For two weeks now, the engine has been running at just under 3,000 rpm (in gear 1-4) when accelerating from WITHOUT the control lights. In the 5th gear you can get up to 3,000 rpm and sometimes over it. But at the latest 3,400 rpm is also in 5th gear end. The acceleration behaviour is a bit “tough”. It is dangerous because the car has to pull off 300km every weekend and of it are about 250km highway. When overtaking or on ascents, the fear is now driving with you, since you never know whether it goes out again or not. Today the car was hardly mobile. Every time it went out at 3,000 rpm. Finally, I could drive around 30km at a distance of 2,800-3,400 rpm. In the 5th gear constant. But this is not possible. The error is not always present. The diesel particle filter has been replaced, the regeneration fluidity has been filled up and now the differential pressure sensor has been exchanged. Unfortunately, it can help without any success.

Volvo v50 Basic Soundsystem expand only with what?
Hello guys, I’ve had a Volvo v50 year of construction 7/2005 for a few days now. It’s as far as I know a Basic Sound System. (No AUX-In and when I start it there’s no high or premium sound in the display, the top-right button is labeled “CD” and not with “mode” as with others) Now I’d like to stream music from the iPhone via Bluetooth, what do I have for myself? Mommentan gurke around with a FM transmitter, but the sound quality is not always good and I would like to have it neat.What the system can MUST: -Bluetooth Music stream from iPhone+Android devices, optional requests (NO MUST): -Freephone setup, -Navigation, -Play music from a memory card or USB stick, there’s so much on the market for the high and premium sound systems, but until now NOTHING for my cheap standard sound system Can I help you?!!!

What is the alternative to the Volvo V50?
I have to buy my first car in the near future and have hardly been interested in cars in my life so far and therefore hardly bothered with it. After looking around the first one I like the Volvo V50 DRIVe best. Since I drive a lot it should become a diesel. The V50 would have exactly the right size for me and seems to be a practical car. I also like that it consumes just 3.8 liters of fuel per 100km in the DRIVe Edition. Well, before I decide on the V50 I want to get an overview of what else there is. At first glance I did not really find something suitable. Which cars from other manufacturers would be alternatives for me, which I should still look at and which are similar to the V50 of practicality, fuel consumption and size?

V70 XC 2.5T no longer wants….
Hello, have the following problem with my wife’s vehicle, a V 70 XC 2.5T 193 Ps Mj. 98 Ez. 10.98. Vehicle ran very well until the last, no drop-outs, nothing. Now stood for 3 days, with the muzzle slightly upwards. Today I wanted to start it, but it doesn’t start at all. No matter if I give gas or still so long örgel. No engine control lamp on, no lambda on. I had it read out, no faults deposited, nothing. Spark of ignition comes clearly and powerfully to the candle, fuel pump runs audible (summates). Relais 103 fuel pump relays I have disassembled, looks like new, nothing to recognize under the magnifying glass, by unclean or broken soldering points. Currently I don’t get any fuel in the combustion room!? Someone’s idea how to proceed further? Where exactly is the engine controller sitting? Not that it got wet with the snow or so!? Hello, since the MT search and G….e could not answer my question the specialists among you can certainly answer the question. Who built the 5 cylinder 2.5l 144 hp engine for Volvo? Was it Ford,Renault,Opel no idea With the diesel engines it was VW the LT engine I drove myself in my 240er but who sponsored the petrolers? I want to work up the cylinder head in summer and change timing belts together with crankshaft ventilation housings. That’s why it interests me. Greeting Christian

850 ABS ECU
Hello, I have a 96’er 850 LW 2.5 10v. The ABS lamp lights permanently. The employee of the Bosch service, where I was to fill up the air conditioner, kindly hung his diagnostic device on it and said ABS sensor at the rear right and ABS hydraulic block were broken. But with the hydraulic block he would not believe, probably it would only be the wheel sensor. But more did not give his diagnostic device. At the friendly Volvo dealer I then had read out more. Result: ABS control unit defective. The very competent mechanic (same 1×850 and 1xV70) said that this was normal. The car dealer wants to install me a new one. who has a C70 I here and can say what about the fabric roof regarding care, durability etc. Other unusual things known? electronic zigzags maybe? Automatic transmission?
