  • What can I report to the insurance company as costs?

    Just to the background: My brother drives my little one while I am on winter vacation. Was in March, so a while ago. He drives from his underground garage into a 10km/h zone and is shaved by a vehicle that drives to the 50km/h at the front. It comes to the agreement of the mutual partial debt. So everyone pays their damage. I assumed that once, let’s say it that way. My damage amounted to so 2,500 Eur, so aprons, headlights etc… I then have to pay this once in cash. But now I ask the insurance company at the end of the year to look at what happened and what it costs me. And look, the insurance company has reported their damage to me and demands of my liability that it jumps in. Of course they did this, because it is probably so common. But now I have asked what I have to do with the liability of my opponent in the calculation. I don’t want to be upgraded in civil liability if only the other one has something of it. Things are going on now, like usage failure, expenses (telephone etc.) and the excess. Since the year is now approaching the end I have to hurry up a bit. Do you know what else you can specify and above all what can I calculate for my Z4 M (E85) for the usage failure in one week?

  • Leasing and liability damage

    after an accident that I did not blame, I gave my vehicle (leasing vehicle) to my dealers and agreed with him that you should only carry out everything you want to do with my vehicle after the cost acceptance of the insurance. this was also not a problem because of the insurance in writing a 100% cost assumed commitment was available. now to my problem, the dealer commissioned a reviewer with the assessment of the damage (approx. 1,500 euro grosso) and led Dara cost for kfz-damage, rental cars and expenses were also replaced by the insurance so that the accident was actually done for me. now after almost 11 months! I get a warning from the expert because the insurance paid him the expert honorar not with the reason …..that with such a low damage height no opinion was necessary. what should I do now? I did not even see the opinion bz. it bauft 1. does the insurance have to pay the fee? 2. if no, do I have to pay it without having it commissioned? 3. is a 1 reminder after 11 months not something (to)late? thank you, jochen

  • Damage assessment of the Dekra too low .. what to do ?

    Moin, so to the previous story: I have a car year 2005 which here a few months ago was quite dented by a hailstorm .. Insurance (winterthur) had sent me to the local Dekra to have a report made. Report is now at 3800 € incl. VAT. according to Dekra you can pull ALL dellen out again. So, now I was at Ford and first let the damage estimate, the responsible meant between 5000 € and 6000 € because you just got some dents nic I then called the insurance company and told them that Ford had estimated a damage between 5 and 6K € then the guy who checked the documents and sent me documents next week because I should drive again at the Dekra. This phone office is now over 3 weeks back without getting an answer .. so I called yesterday again and told them that I now to Ford möch This is why I have to add a dekra to the dekra. My question now what should I do?! The fucking dekra has already estimated the damage wrong the first time and will probably not do it better the second time. And that the dekra mann now also at ford auftauc I don’t want to talk to them in a certain way either ! Whether I leave repair is still open and depends on the paid amount , at least my voting workshop would be the local Ford dealer and not some backyard beulenbude . Was also with some people who know with it (master , small workshop ) who thought that the 3800 € are always too little . Should I now drive to Ford and just have a report made and send the insurance ? Because that the insurance now does everything in order to have to pay less and also consciously misinfo ́s gives I already from own experience …. the scares of almost nothing back

  • Theft warning system in the Eos???

    Hello to all experienced convertible drivers among the (future) Eos owners, what is your opinion about the theft warning system. If I want to leave the car open from time to time (e.g. parking at the shop or in front of the restaurant, without having the car in view), is that then compulsory or reacts to the ghup any more today anyway? Insurance-wise I have read that leaving a convertible open does not necessarily cost the insurance cover if the car is stolen od it is damaged in the interior (requirement: busy area, no sign of gross negligence). You answer something, write the answer in peace, click on reply, then load the page again, you have the editor in front of you again, but without text; the answer is gone, has not been posted; a “zurueck” unfortunately does not bring the text back. The written text is lost. You have to rewrite it. The error occurs s o often I copy the text into the clipboard, because that happens so often.     Dear friends, can you leave the “principle” or rather the rule of thumb so that V-engines are always more unfriendly and complex than in-line engines? If I look at the engine compartment in which a V-engine sits, even if it is only a “small” 2.4L, then this is so crowded. It looks like I have to disassemble half the car just to get to a throttle valve or similar banal things. If I imagine my 1.6L in the VW Touran, I can sink my arm up to the shoulder into the engine compartment.   • Question on four-wheel and tire wear

    Moin, today I cleaned the car a little bit, checked tyre pressure and measured profile. The front tyres are so at 5mm both. The rear tyres were always a bit better during previous checks and had pi times thumbs a millimeter more profile on it. Now the rear left tyre has still so 6-7mm, the right rear one suddenly reaches only 5mm. In the past there were no measurable deviations between left and right. Since I have not driven so much lately, w I already change myself about the suddenly strong wear of a tire. Since this problem did not exist before and I do not drive any curbs up and down and even nowhere with the tire or the rim I exclude a suddenly adjusted track first rather. The car also runs normally straight while driving and braking. However, I have the feeling (maybe it is really just a feeling) that the wheels erase something when I slowly drive a narrow left turn. So, al Is it not always the case, especially right after the start, when everything is still cold. How best to do it? Can you somehow check whether the drive train is tense or just feeling? I would not like to have new tires put on it soon, as long as the problem is not found. If it’s stupid, I’ll ruin a tire again. It’s a Subaru Forester with automatic, because it’s a Subaru Forester. s means that the all-wheel is permanent (normal power distribution probably at 80:20)m if required up to 50:50 and is controlled by a lamella coupling.
