Hello guys, I also want to buy a DT 50 R (first registration 95 7tkm) next week! But I am not yet 16 and I want to have them throttled (at least the first couple of weeks and because of my parents). Is this possible? What do I have to do or where do I have to register it? Where do I get the throttling? Please help me, don’t want to drive a scooter…. MFG Johannes

Hello, I want to get a Harley!
Hello, I’ve recently turned 18 and I already have my car and motorcycle license. I’ve already bought a car (Ford Mustang 66) and now I’m looking for a motorcycle and I’ve fallen in love with the Harleys! Up to now I like the Fatboys of the optical best, but unfortunately I have no idea of the technology etc… I also saw that you are sitting on the Harleys quite differently than on the sports machines. Can you drive with them even longer distances ? And how much do they consume on fuel? I’m not so the racer, and would rather just drive so comfortably across the road so I don’t like the sports machines so well. I hope someone can help me…

New Harley – new sound???
Hi guys, I’ve been a happy owner of a brand new Heritage Softail Classic (my first Harley!) for 14 days. Of course I’m totally happy – a really cool part, actually a perfect motorcycle. Well, because thanks to euronorm 2 nothing more can be heard from the achso famous Harleysound and questions like “Is the engine already on?” the result of my buddies. So what can be done? – remodeling existing equipment, tumbling it up, boring it up??? – buy new complete system (what would be to em miss, with ABE, legal or illegal)? Questions that have certainly been asked here many times, but I am still new here. Would I be very pleased about plenty of information!

ASU motorcycles
Hello, the new Daynas create the required values of the ASU also with the e.g. exhaust system Kess-Tech manually transferable in closed condition ? Or how is this if you have to advance with the original exhaust system u. later converted again to the Kess-Tech . In case the values do not correspond our friend & helper will surely monetize the mounted Kess-Tech with a control or ? How does that work ? Or are the values in spite of another approved system oh a cat so good that they can withstand each ASU exam ? Who knows more precise ? Bernhold

Beware of self-import HD causes trouble
Hello I’m not too long Harleyman yet. On Sunday the first 30km on my brand new driven but today there was massive trouble and that was through the customs office. Had ordered me for the first time at hmhd in USA a few small things (value 142$). Got after 14days mail from the customs office, parts were there. I opened and checked there this morning. The clerk meant here something was unclear. There was a request for confiscation. I believed in a joke first and still meant She called the head of the office who wanted to explain to me that the customs procedure had not yet been completed. Meanwhile, the clerk had called another job and told me that Harley Davidson or her lawyer had applied for confiscation, since this would be a “parallel import”. It could also be possible that the parts were intended for other markets, e.g. Japan or Taiwan. Harley would have the right The stuff is now going to a legal representative of the company, who then decides whether I can have the goods (my paid ones) as well. Here I ask myself what HD is imagining itself. I want to buy where I want, as Harley does by the way. It is produced or bought a lot e.g. in Taiwan, China etc. I mean if HD wants to protect itself the market this should be done about quality and attractive prices and not with such methods. Has anyone experienced similar things?? I’m curious how things continue.

cayenne s(955) Problems ! (electric)
Hello guys, I had created a thread yesterday, but it was a bit inaccurate I’m sorry again, here the topic again and a bit more accurate. So my cayenne S 4.5 was standing a few weeks in the driveway. I wanted to start it yesterday morning, there came a beeps noise and following errors welcomed me (Zündschloss defective, brake force distribution, air suspension). I folded the driver’s seat back and looked sometimes. I discovered under foot mat water as I experienced have this with this model series a disease. After I then wiped up the water and so far dried up, I removed the battery and put it on the charger. This morning he stood then on green so I then made the battery again everything professional and tried it again, but again nothing. I then read something of oxidized cables but found nothing suspicious. I urgently need help where I still do something with the thing finally wied he runs I thank you in advance.

Porsche 911 G-Model restore, screwdriver and tips sought
Hello to each other, I’m new here at the Porsche Forum. So that you know a bit about me, after I’m already 20 years at the screw, I bought myself a Porsche 911 G SC Carrera BJ79 with 3.0 liter K-jetronik a few weeks ago. Normally I’m on the road in the VW Forum and have already built up a few cars. Now I got stuck with the G-model and because the technology is a bit different and I don’t know as much about it as after 20 years VW schr Auben I thought maybe there are some enthusiasts and self-screws who can help me with my project. In the appendix a few pictures, once at the purchase, then at the disassembly and now I am at the body work with the support of a good buddy. It is painted then again in the original lacquer Opal metallic. But first of all fix all corrosion damage on the car. Would any of you have the current schedules for the car? Must there also be Refurbish some things. Look forward to new contacts, greetings from m Allgäu

Question of faith, remodeling or original condition
Hello municipality, Now, so shortly after Easter I would like to ask here a question of faith. My darling is first registration ́72, was until ́02 first hand vehicle, and then was acquired by me about a year ago. The car was always groped and to my knowledge never had to sleep (perhaps as a very young rare time) outdoors. It is in a very well maintained original condition, also the first coat is still fine, for its double full age definitely, but I know cars, which And now my problem: in March 1980 the first owner had a glass roof retrofitted. The work is neat, and the roof is dense. However, I am an originality freak, that’s why the glass roof bothers me. However, a rearrangement would result in a repainting (of course in the original color) and that would be, in addition to the money question, a pity for the paint. So, now I have my crush. What would you do? I am looking forward to your views Greetings and a beautiful, finally sunny, weekend Elcoupe, who hopes that now also the residual salt will disappear from the streets.

Everyday tauglicity Mercedes S-Class 1966
Hello, I’m offered a cheaper Mercedes 250 SE from 1966. Oil consumption is 0.5 liters per 1000 km. Condition is VERY good according to the age. Consumption according to the seller is 11 liters per 100 km. Can one still move such a vehicle in everyday life (but not winter with snow) or is that too risky. It must be very reliable. What do you think about it? MfG Lucas Jensen

MAG welding devices
Hello, even if I don’t have a classic car, I think that my concern is most likely to be here. At the moment I change the outside sleepers of my passat and use the welding device of an acquaintance. Slowly the desire to own a MAG welding machine matures in me. Since I will not use it often now, it should be quite inexpensive. I would like something portable, since now I don’t have my own garage. I just want to have thin body plates every now and then. For thicker things I can also use a welding transformer. Now I have looked here and there in DIY stores and at Conrad and have come across devices of the company Einhell. When searching the Internet I have heard very controversial opinions. Now I am very unsure. Can anyone say anything about this? I also found a device from Metabo (MIG/MAG 140): Setting range (230 V): 30 – 140 A Control: 4 levels Weldable wire: 0.6 – 0.8 mm Weldable materia lstärke: 0.5 – 3 mm Max. turn-on time at 25 °C: 7 % Max. turn-on time at 40 °C: 4 % Weight: 26 kg What do you think of this? Would that be something for me as a hobby user? Do you know that? Thank you in advance.
