  • Boxster or not?

Hello, I’ve been trying to fulfill my dream of my own Porsche for a long time, but somehow there’s always something in between (1 year Australia, condominium, etc.). In the meantime, I’ve almost written off the dream when I saw that Boxster already exists for 10-15000 euros. Most of them are Built 96 and have 100-150Tkm on it. I’ve heard now, you should rather keep your fingers off it, because the over 100Tkm are quite vulnerable, have high maintenance costs and the service incredible te Now I don’t necessarily need a service at Porsche, can also do a lot of things myself (were then rather a last hand car, resale value so good as insignificant) and I drive only about 5-8000 km with it every year. Is it worth putting something like that in the garage as a second toy for me or should I rather leave it? How are your experiences with old boxers? How do the maintenance costs book? Thanks and greetings, downundaman

  • 12v End stage to be installed in trucks

Hey, I asked. My truck turned 24v 2x12v in series. How do I connect my 12V battery now? I don’t want to give up from the voltage converter, because I’m afraid to shoot it. Can I just turn off a battery even if they are in series?

  • Refitting trailer socket at the TGL

Hello together have bought me a MAN TGL 8.180 Bj. 2005 which is like new has only 38000 km now I want to make only a trailer coupling ball up to 3500 kg that is so far no problem with the universal trailer jack of Westfalia. Now I wanted to connect today the electric socket thought that just goes inside the lights as with the Atego because I had to find that this is not so easy. Who can please help me get that not connected to the lights if there would be an intermediate piece of the light connection plug that has the lights Vignal with DIN 72585 7 pin plug on it. Or I have to pull a cable right up to the front but where ?? already in advance thank you very much Klaus

  • Modulator defect???

I despair slowly!!!!! With our Actros MP3 1846 2012 2-axis the brakes get very hot at the rear, sometimes it smokes. It was read out with StarDiagnose however there is no error code. Very often have pressure in the combi cylinder although I do not brake. I then tap very easily on the brake pedal it is for a short time away the pressure. I have already driven with manometer. With inserted parking brake comes sporadicly light air from the vent from the modulator.

  • Special features of trucks in Brazil / Argentina

Hello Wissende, in both mentioned countries lorries on the axles, sometimes on allen, sometimes only the front or rear have a kind of connection which is led with a thin spring-wrapped pipe to the body. Unfortunately I have no pictures and think of a kind of permanent axle lubrication or tire air control, can not really imagine this technically. Does this jmd. about what this construction is about?

  • D-215 Heavy oil leak

Hello together, I have here in the shed still an old IHC McCormick D-215 (I guess from about 1963) stand. I hope with questions about this I am reasonably correct here. Or else someone might know an active, more meaningful forum for tractor problems? So, I finally wanted to make up for the old tug. As a child he was – always after school – my afternoon job on the yard of my grandparents – I can still operate it because it still runs quite ok, but he It’s not the engine oil, which drips out and it soups up in the stand, even if it’s not used for a long time, continuously whenever I don’t look at what’s out. There’s a big tub under it that catches everything. I suspect it’s hydraulic oil. But I’m not sure. I crawled under it a while ago, you can’t see a special place where it runs out because of all the big mess. My plan is to clean everything up in the next few days. d to observe again. However, I wanted to do a little research in advance, whether someone has experiences with something like this and maybe a few links or tips, which are probably the usual causes. Does anyone have tips? I would be very grateful because I don’t know exactly how to handle it at the moment. Thank you already! PS: That’s exactly the one it is (just found): http://www.fahrzeugseiten.de/Traktoren/IHC_McCormick/D-215/d-215.html

  • Mc Cormick D324

Hello together, I have a problem with a D324. Actually I would not have to have one, because I delivered the D324 in an agricultural workshop. It is a partially restored object which I have purchased. The tractor was disassembled, crankshaft was ground by the company Kohls and equipped with new bearings. Clutch was renewed with rear bearing. Electrical completely new and conversion to quick start plugs and and…. So I bought the then un d was taken to a landmachin workshop. Be the 16.05.2014 was always screwed to the tractor and told me: The tractor runs, but after approx. 100m driving out possible cause cooler. The cooler was then excluded for it was the thermostat; which later was not the cause. Then it was called the nozzles; but they were not. Now it was the diesel injection system; but then it was also excluded. Now it is the engine or the crankshaft. I was told that the tractor runs smoothly in idle, that the oil pressure is also correct, etc., but as soon as the clutch is operated to install a gear the tractor goes off. According to the statement, it is said that the clutch is pressed on the crankshaft in the moment where you press it which then strangles the engine. The engine must be disassembled comp. or directly a used ATM. Can this be?????? I need penetrated tips and or a savvy not too expensive screwdriver that the good piece again Greetings.
