Hello, I would like to buy a car, which I need mainly in the city and 3-4x a month for shorter highway routes. I drive the car with my wife and soon possibly with offspring. Since it becomes my first own car and I have hardly any idea of cars, I would be happy if you could write me something about the cars that presume me. Bzw which of them you would take or exclude and why – regardless of the price. Highway I do not like to drive e.g. because I would like to have a car that doesn’t get too loud in the interior and dampen road unevenness. It would be important to me to have a car that rarely has to go to the workshop, whose repairs/replacement parts and insurance are not too expensive. I don’t drive particularly sporty, but it would be nice if my car had enough power to quickly complete overtaking operations. These are the cars, all have automatic, air conditioning/automatic, 5 doors and are gasoline: Mazda 3 1 .6 SportActive: Dealer 46.000 km 77kW/105PS EZ07/2007 Checkbook Peugeot 308: Private 100.000 km 103kW/140PS EZ02/2008 Toyota Auris 1.6 VVT-i: Private 113.204 km 91kW/124PS EZ03/2007 Hyundai i30 1.6 Comfort: Dealer 121.305 km 85kW/116PS EZ04/2008 Checkbook

Looking for young combo up to 20k – diesel?
Hi together, I am looking for us M/W/Kind (10 years) a robust, reliable combi up to 20,000 Euro. The car should be max 3 years old, still have (rest) warranty and maybe not more than 50-55,000. Due to an annual drive of 25,000 – 27,000 km, I probably prefer a diesel. My driving profile looks like this: Daily 30 km easy route Land/Bundesstraße, shopping trips 2-3 times a week approx. 7km easy route Landstraße. Aubs- and sometimes weekend rides over the train. I hate to have a vehicle where you think in the morning, if you overtake a trecker in the afternoon 😉 But I don’t need a family rocket, rather healthy midfield 🙂 As a must-have equipment I need Bluetooth hands-free equipment and air conditioning. If there was a glass roof (panorama or sunroof) for my child, I would be the hero and the family peace secured 🙂 What is (not) possible? We are currently driving e in the Ford Focus Mk3 1.6 ecoboost with 150 hp (among other things driving profile purchased). I find the engine and chassis really top. But I find the processing under all Sau, sorry. The errors and defects are a story in itself…. Therefore for me no Ford would be considered any more. From VW one hears lately only horror and recall stories. What does it really look like? Visually and from the processing I find the Audi A4 Avant really good, but at least the pain limit erreic hen, if not blast. Thank you very much. Greetings Florian

Accident with hitchhiking expert report insurance refuses
Hi, in the fall I parked in a parking garage. When I come back my driver’s door is damaged. Next to me is a BMW X5. Wheelbase, entry angle fit exactly. Driver escape? Because the BMW X5 has fixed plastic on the wheel boxes, you can see nothing with it. With me is sand dust to see and the paint scratched. Can it be that a solid Kunsstoff on wheelbox has no traces, although the nevertheless sensitive paint has scratcher? After long waiting I have everything with In the evening, after work, I went to the police because of the advertisement. Damage according to the workshop 1000,- Euro. The opposing insurance (Kravag) commissioned Carexpert with an expert report. The expert looks at it. After that the insurance registers and says according to the expert report it could not have been the X5. I demand the expert report. But the insurance does not let me see it. What would you do? Many greetings!

Request for help Car insurance cancel novices
Good afternoon Community I am 18 years old and have had my driver’s license since Thursday. My father has 2 cars ( Ford Kuga , Fiat 500) . Now he has on Friday at the Concordia the Fiat 500 in my name insured. He pays 750 euros a year!! But he pays already by his name also every month money for the Fiat 500. So we pay double! 1. I want to cancel tomorrow this is going to go? 2. Then I want to let my father’s first insurance run like this, May I the car then drive? 3. Does the car insurance accept the termination? My father has not paid anything yet Thanks in advance LG

Can you please give us some advice – insecure when buying used cars…
Dear people, I intend to get myself a car with my wife, with which we can survive longer journeys (Hamburg – Zurich, have to commute for a while) reasonably pleasantly, as well as on site then often shopping and driving to work – perhaps already big enough to transport a small family in it. And in my search I came across an offer, which first seems very attractive: BMW 318d DPF Touring, EZ 04/2010, 154,328 km, Diesel, 105 kW (143 hp), Automatic. The whole for 999€. Now I have looked at it, it looks from the outside and the interior really in very good condition, also nowhere found rust marks, tire profile is also reasonably ok. However, the (private) dealer told me that the VAT is not passable (I think it might eventually be imported into Switzerland), although on the website the price is in 999€ (gross), 8395€ (net) (19% VAT) and there is no service booklet. well I can trust his statement that it is really accident-free and how is the price in relation to the performances? (if indeed also with a test drive a good feeling exists and he could somehow show me that it really had no accident?) And what does it look like compared to another, following offer (in comparison) – is the additional expenditures worth?: BMW 118d DPF, accident-free, private provider, EZ 03/2008, 117.000 km, Diesel, 105 kW (143 hp), automatic, (Lim ousine). The whole for 850€ VAT not passable Thank you for your help and comments!

Search for reliable small cars – up to max 2500 €
Good day Dear Motor-Talk Community, I am looking for a new reliable small car, so far I drive a Ford Fiesta MK5, built in 2001 and am also super satisfied with the reliability, the only thing I don’t like about the car is the look, the relatively high fuel consumption and the rust problems on the bike runs. I still want to leave the Fiesta in the family because he never let me in and first had a previous owner. I fell in love with a Fiat Punto 188, but you always read separate opinions on the Internet, and how reliable is it really? As I said, optically exactly my case. I also like the Opel Corsa C, or the Peugeot 206 very much. When it comes to the Japanese I find the Honda Civic quite ok, or should the Toyota Corolla be super reliable or? Are there any other candidates who can keep up with the reliability of the Ford Fiestas and no great rust problems and many other problems? even offer a lower fuel consumption? What also bothers me animally are rattling suspensions, maybe there is also an inside tip in the view? I hope you can help me with my decision.

Advice for commuting vehicles
Hello dear forum, I am currently looking for a new car and am no longer looking through. Our current Farzeug situation: Now the Fiesta is to be replaced, because it is only a 2-door and we receive new children again. Bringing two children back on the bench is very annoying in the long run. Therefore a 5-door should be purchased. Requirements: The Avensis was only purchased a month ago, because our focus had suffered a motor damage. The question now is, whether we only buy another small car, or soon sell the Avensis again, because the consumption is too high for us in the long run. In addition, the question arises which car is more suitable for which route (2x32km federal road or 2x8km city traffic). In my search, I then became aware of a Toyota Prius and find out which car is more suitable for which route (2x32km federal road or 2x8km city traffic). our budget is about 8-9000€, we would not like to finance a new car/annual car, unless this would be calculated in comparison to the used car. We plan to drive the car for a very long time. Or a whole corner cheaper and also smaller: Here the question arises, whether the more expensive Prius is worthwhile for our driving profile, or whether we should distance ourselves from it and rather a cheaper small car around 4000 I also find the Skoda Fabia or a Roomster, which could possibly replace the Avensis later on. Otherwise, hints and suggestions are welcome. You see, this is still a bit unstructured. Thank you for your help, Alex.

Old Bmw for long distance
Moin Moin together, I’m still looking for a suitable car for my purposes… And unfortunately I don’t know about cars at all. Briefly to my “claims”: Through a new position for which I don’t want to move, and with which I expect for the next 2-3 years, I have to travel 200 km a day soon. After some back and forth whether new or used cars, I now ask myself whether it might not be useful to have an “old” car for relatively little money I thought of an old Bmw, because these cars (with my dangerous semi-knowledge) are known to me as solid and almost “unchaputtbar”. Now, however, I have read on various pages about various defects of some years of construction etc. Is there perhaps the one or other Bmw expert who could give me tips, what would be worthwhile? Which vehicles are recommended for this purpose or whether I would like to buy these cars and drive them only these 2-3 years. I would have thought of 1 or 3s, either as petrol or diesel (because I don’t have to pay the bezin myself). I would be happy about expert support. Thank you in advance.

High-vis, dark muscle, bat grey
Hello! Now comes from the north this disgusting cold front and brings rain and grey fur to northern Germany. Today I drove in Berlin the last “almost”-sunny day. It is to be significantly colder and rain en masse. There I pass directly by Louis and buy me, guess what: exclusively black motorcycle clothes. Perfect for the coming Sauwetter. As threatened, I realized – a underlay protector vest and a thinner leather jacket, for over, and a “Kevla” The Kevlar is only sewn on the Mors, for which the seams are supposed to be double and triple sewn after a anyway-DIN. But what is still missing is a good helmet. And I want to get a squeaky yellow neon helmet, matching the rest of the appearance man/machine-black. During exploration tours in the net – and also here by some users comments regarding the sense and nonsense of high-visible vests, I came to the In conclusion, the first thing that motorists see is the neon-yellow pear, because the highest and beautiful round. Quite frankly, I don’t want to start a discussion about the meaning of my project, but rather to ask the “believers” to express themselves. To the question now: Are there long-term experiences of neon-yellow/white flip-up helmets or integral helmets and if so, WO can I try them on???? Living in Berlin or the surrounding area. And to the second question: Where do I drive? r if it goes with the girlfriend on day tour. Müritz, or yet direction Frankfurt/Oder? Dear greetings, ExMachina
