  • Auris D-Cat – recommendation?

Hello, I would like to make it a little more difficult for VW to get to the top of the world and think about the Auris D-Cat. The test drive is about to start. I’m positively surprised by the equipment – now it’s Executive Touchscreen and Rearview Camera Series, Xenon anyway. Main reasons for the Auris as D-Cat: Torque full with relatively low weight for relaxed driving without rotating orgies, especially on the highway. Consumption is also supposed to play a role. Another argument for me is the high technical maturity and quality. At Toyota you can be sure that not the customer tests. We still have a Yaris 1 from 2001 with 170tkm. It is not to be broken. What about the consumption data? In the forum this is always a criticism point. In fuel monitor it can be called on average with just under 8 liters also as a drunker – in contrast, the heavier Avensis with the same engine is clearly more economical. What is it about? Are the Auris D-Cat’lers All heaters? Is the engine now matured? It is spoken of overheating problems, problems with the injection nozzles and also a high consumption. Has the engine become even more mature or As an alternative, the Mazda CX-5 2.2 with 150 hp is on the list. Lots of space, increased sitting position, good driving performance with low consumption. I think Mazda is Toyota in no way inferior in terms of quality. This should also be a long-term investment.

  • Finally pictures of EOS

Doesn’t even look so bad from roof could run out a little further then it wouldn’t look so spherical. Price I find fair 25090€.

  • Workshop car for screwdrivers ?

Hello guys, some friends and I have a small workshop where we screw on our e36. Meanwhile, a lot of tools have been added. That’s why we’re looking for a workshop car now. Maybe someone has some tips. We’re looking for a robust and stable car. Absolutely with full extension and ball bearing. Budget is about 600€ (empty) Vigor actually stands in place 1 but maybe someone has good experience from other manufacturers who are perhaps even cheaper. Hazet too expensive, Holex is good, Sonic too expensive, Taurus? The reviews are promising but I can’t imagine. I am grateful for every tip.

  • Torque wrench for <10Nm?

Hello together, I already have two torque wrenches that cover the range of 10-320Nm. So far I also got everything that was so hard to get now to my question. Is it useful to buy a third one that can “can” even less than 10Nm? In particular now zb for reversing rollers on timing belts, which usually need 8nm… Or is it “no matter” if I then tighten them with 10nm instead of 8nm. I’m looking forward to your opinion. Thank you very much!

  • ALDI compressor Ferrex – hardly any pressure?

Hello, a few days ago I bought a mobile compressor brand Ferrex from Aldi-Süd. I only need this one a few times in the summer to clean devices. Never had a compressor. Operating instructions read out completely. Blow-out adapter attached. Switched on. After 5 minutes no pressure is indicated on the pressure gauge (?) although the device is leaking. A few loosely lying dust grains can be blown away on a table already 1 m. I turn off the comp. and let the air out, I hear max. 1 sec. a slight hissing. A kind of pressure reducer or so there is no, so can not be switched on. My Kärcher high-pressure cleaner brings after much shorter time power. Can someone give me a tip, or is the device defective? Thank you.

  • Stiftung Warentest: Einhell battery in 1st place

Moin Leuzz, the tool battery test from the Stiftung Warentest has just fluttered into the news and I thought about a suitable thread:Foundation Warentest: These system batteries last particularly long I’m visibly surprised! My Parkside delegation, which was acquired only in the spring, looks anything but bad… From Makita, which should be purchased for the planned house renovation… First of all, I’m shocked/disappointed, is so not reflected again what you My bought Red-18V cordless screwdriver almost 8 years ago was grotesque… After not 4 years both batteries were through. And the suitcase 3x cheaper than Parkside! Best regards Mopedcruiser

  • One bright power tool?

Hey guys, I’d like to expand my inventory now with some power tools. Now my question, what do you think of the Einhell Xchange devices? I know that Einhell doesn’t have the best call, but my actual use won’t be great and therefore the price/performance must be right. I need a battery screwdriver (best with all functions so screw, drill, hit drill). A jigsaw and still an angle grinder. All devices must be battery powered. Have devices w he Bosch Blau and Makita looked at, but they really fall out due to the price. I only use things privately and possibly if I have to do what on the car and motorcycle. My budget is about 250€. Do I even get on with other companies? Quality is important to me, but I put together a tool case with the help of these forums last year. But I chose high-quality companies like Proxxon, Knipex, Gedore, Wera. Such tools have also been a Lebenlan g (in the best case). Thank you for the help.

  • Basic equipment for chemistry (rust releasers, lubricating sprays, etc.) for hobby screwdrivers

Hello! I’m currently going through my inventory of spray cans and tubes etc. and want to be as complete as possible for a basic equipment for most cases. Here’s my target list. • Alternatives to expensive wheel hub grinders

Hello, I’m relatively new about car tools. I bought a high-quality jack, until autumn everything was ok, but then a tire didn’t go off. There are wheel hub grinders, but mostly not cheaper than 50€, sometimes even more expensive than 100€. I find the prices already fierce. What is the difference between such a Hazet essay:https://www.amazon.de/…/ref=sr_1_10?… and here?https://www.amazon.de/…/ref=sr_1_20?… or here?https://www.amazon.de/. ./ref=sr_1_9?… or here?https://www.amazon.de/…/ref=sr_1_21?… is the difference only in diameter? What do you think would be the most appropriate essay on price/performance?
