Hello together, after having discovered the fun of riding a motorcycle at my old age (>40<45), I bought a little DT 125 RE last year. Drive a little bit to work, that's all it should be. But now I have to realize that somehow too little power is sitting under the tank. So the decision is clear, something bigger has to happen. I agreed with my wife that (unfortunately only!) it can go off next year. By chance I am on an offer for a KTM LC 400 Military came up. Financially quite interesting, performance should be sufficient, color can be changed, but can one of you give me tips on what I should pay attention to when buying? After all, I am really not a specialist in motorcycle matters. Among other things, the height of the mesh appeals to me (I am more than 190 cm tall) and also brings an almost normal weight on the scales. In addition, I find Enduros from house already more interesting than "Rennziegen". Amit doesn't want to drive on the ground... maybe over dirt roads or dgl. but for everything else I'm probably already too old *grins* Or are there other interesting enduros that I haven't come across yet? already thanks for your tips! JJ

Strong mashia throttling?!?
Hey Folks! I have a bit of a weird question, as I think! Nen acquaintance of me might want to make a rag. But since he has to drive for 2 years, he asked me if one can also throttle a strong maschiene?!? In the special case it is either a K1200 R or R1200 S. He finds both nice, but doesn’t want to get a maschiene now and again in 2 years! Since I have no idea if this is going to happen I will pass the question on to you!!! P.S.: I know that this is very questionable and would probably make it nciht personally! Just want to know if that’s possible!

Bürstner, glass cover gas cookers
Moin, today out of carelessness have destroyed the glass cover of my 3-burner stove in the WoMo Büstner T610. Hinges and angle of attack are of course ok. Can I bring new glass to the glazier, and new glass by size?, which glass should I take? The cover has broken into more than a thousand pieces; I would never like to experience again! tryllletroll

Recaro sports seats or better the originals
Good evening, dear forum, just before your well-deserved WE a question. I have seen at Recaro the seats “Pole Position” with ABE etc.. I think about an exchange of seats. Has anyone had experience with the topic of sports seats/shell seats? Porsche has also own which they offer, but the difference of over 4000€ is already considerable. I would be particularly interested in what would be with the seat heating. I have one right now but The Recaro ́s don ́t have heating cushions (I don ́t want to at all). But I would also like to accept all opinions, experiences, tips and tricks! Thank you in advance and still a nice evening. Oh yes, very important, does anyone know what the serial seats weigh? Thx!!!

R1100S ABS control light flashes fast
Hello, I have a little problem with my R1100S. I was at an oil change in the NL. There they told me that on the motorcycle oil loss gear -> engine or at the final drive. They suspect it, but exactly they don’t say it. So I drove back home. Now to the problem: I drove on the AB with about 210 km/h. Suddenly the ABS control light went on (ABS: fast flashing, General warning light: permanent light) brake loss I did not notice. I can’t tell if the smell came from the long standing. The machine was standing over the winter. It also got a new GEL battery.

Porsche 928gts
Hi guys, since I’m still a student or Zivi (Abi 2003 *jippie*) and one of my dream cars is the Porsche 928gts, I wanted to ask you here! First of all, how expensive are so things, at mobile.de there are which from 15,000€ to over 50,000€, well used! Wherewith a new one you would probably hardly get. Furthermore, what can you expect for a running performance with the used ones, I mean it are GTs, i.e. scales, which were also built for longer distances. Then, are there actually of the things also manual transmission versions or were they manufactured at that time only as automatic? Most things that I saw were automatic. Besides, what do you think of the boxes in general? If you have a few nice links to the topic 928gts, so, ‘I’m interested in everything I can get on the subject! Because one thing I have firmly put in my mind, next to all the dream cars I would like to have, a 928gts will be the first and if it has to be even one! Thx in advance and posted beautiful.

Z900 Entry into service
Good morning, I finally fulfilled my dream and bought myself a new Z900. Now it is time to drive in so that the machine will remain with me for a long time. My question is how to drive in properly. The dealer did not mean over 4000 rpm and has adjusted the switching flash accordingly. I keep to this requirement even if there is something different in the manual. The question I ask myself about the speed is whether it doesn’t matter how I reach the 4000 rpm? On the highway f Do I take the gears with half-/full-gas up to 4000 rpm or speed up from the 5th or 6th gears. Do I do this right or should I do something different? I don’t want to drive the engine already while driving in scrap. Thanks already for the answers Mfg

Tyres for Aprilia RS 125`96
Servus, the mature ones on my box are already a bit older (h 07 v 02). The TÜV’ler meant that they are still ok, they are enough for profile depth, but I think I should do something new up. Mounted is: Currently mounted is Dunlop Sportmaxx D204 Rear 150/60 ZR 17 Front 110/70 ZR 17 In the vehicle license is also the size: 110/80 ZR 17 What is the difference between the 70s and 80s height when driving? Alternatively I can also drive V 100/80 H 130/70 What would be the difference between the 70s and 80s height when driving? the front / downside of the small pairing? I was last with the “local” tyre freckle, but he unfortunately had no plan of motorcycle tyres. So now these questions: 1. Should I change the tyres due to age, at least in the front? 2. Which tyre types would be good tyres? I was completely satisfied with the mounts. 3. Request for illumination or the possible tyre cross-sections and tyre pairings. 4. Good and Günster tyre dealer / Montör Munich or East of Munich. : RS125 bj 96 18 kw. Driving profile: Cityhopper, excavator seacarrier and rarely a small alpine tour. Thank you!
