  • Retarder control

Moin, I have a articulated bus with retarder. Can anyone tell me how this is operated? I once have a foot switch for the motor brake. Unfortunately, this is without function. Then I have a button in the dashboard for the motor adjustment. It works. I had the idea to connect the foot switch to the button first, but had to find that the button against plus and the foot switch switches against mass. Is the foot switch usually for the operation of the retarder u and the engine brake thought and the button only to turn off the engine? Who knows these things and can help me? Thanks and greeting Michl

  • Reduction of the maximum permissible weight due to 3.5 ton limit

Hello Together, is there a way to push his team weight to under 3.5 ton? The question is to be understood as follows: My team (see signature) is a Vectra with a zGG of 2.155 kg and a hobby with 1,350 kg (loaded up). So I am in addition with the permissible total weight at 3,505 kg, i.e. seen from the papers 5 kg above the magical limit of 3.5 ton. In D I drive with 100-er registration. So I can drive in Austria on highways but only 80. With the I don’t know what the French are doing at the moment, but it could turn out that way, too. Other countries also lift up to a maximum of 3.5 ton, in order to make it possible to drive faster. To eat up to 5 kg now: Do I go to the FOH or to hobby? Or what is it right to do to achieve this goal? Who has done something like this (actually the opposite way, normally you weigh on) before? Greeting Günter

  • Seal check is money tailoring

Hello Campingfreaks, today the first leak test was due for my hobby 450UF. I had informed myself in the search radio before what the number costs so. Just looked in and read there something of approx. 35 Euro. Now comes the absolute hammer, this procedure with which I was running in about two minutes and cost 62 Euro. Then I asked if I can take the measuring device with me now. That is the absolute scorn what these hobby contract dealers for a cure Does anyone of you have a newer date hobby with current leak check and what did you pay for it? To get this 5 year warranty you need a dealer stamp or there are alternatives to it? MfG. Biker

  • How can one avoid “offering work performance” in case of dismissal protection action??

Hello, colleagues! Can any of you give me a tip on how one could “get around” the “offering of work performance” in the employment protection procedure after the termination date?? Let the sick write this would be one, but in my case is not so easy because I am (still) ill because of the consequences of an accident at work and that also not for long, because nobody else “plays along” anymore… Is there any other way that I can do my job with my former employee? If I am not sick anymore, he is obliged to pay me the salary until the final decision of the labour court (at least retroactively) and then he will certainly want to see me again for “work”, but just NOT for driving (because he has no truck for me), but for “other” activities, which he then comes up with… And since I had unfortunately only an oral employment contract, he could have me inside half of the company (at least theoretically) work for “anything possible” … So how can I still legally withdraw from his “access” without being ill written ??? DON’T YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO !!! Greetings

  • GPS locating

Servus all on the other hand, I am looking for a GPS antenna, which I want to connect to Scania Fhz to be able to locate them via the Internet, the clue is that the drivers should not know that, say Antenna should be good to hide ;-). But the biggest problem I see is that the Fhz are travelling in completely europe and sometimes in North Africa. I am an absluter beginner in the matter. I would be very happy if I had any information about this and about it. I’m also interested in used equipment. mfg scanianewbie

  • Kaufberatung R or K ?

Hello dear people, after 20 years of abstinence I want to get a motorcycle again. Last time I drove a GS850G and then an XJ900. A total of 14 years of motorcycle experience with approx.200,000 km (I was on the road a lot After the decision to get back on the road (at 51) and now (because of age) it can and should be also a BMW (was then among us young savages completely frowned poses to me a decisive question. R or K ? What do I want to do? Cruise n! On weekends, for 3-4 hours, maybe even longer. No long tours over several days. No highway, preferably country roads. Mostly alone, maybe two times. Top speed is not important to me, acceleration and good chassis count, am not a corner softness and let it be sporty. Quite clear, if it goes according to technology, is in my view the K 1200 R front. If I look at the Youtube videos, it should be a R 1200 R. Why? On all videos the I have seen the K 1200 R, the drivers only hang on the gas, the tachometer depends between 8 and 11000 tours, the device goes animally and I get blood pressure (I’m already too old for the part?) With the videos of the R 1200 R it’s a bit quieter to the thing (although I don’t underestimate the torque), actually something comes up to me (although the animal in the K admittedly is very irritating). So, now I come to the point. Can one with the K also “cozy” crui without constantly having the adrenaline level above the lower lip, or induces you to heat the motor characteristics (red range starting from 11,000). To make it clear again. Actually, I prefer the K 1200 R, unless someone here tells me “Let Grandpa, this part is too hot for you” You have a nice evening and thank you for your answers. Dirk

  • Laughing is healthy!

Here are so many serious and important posts that I thought it would be time to post a post in which you can post jokes and funny pictures. I start with: An elderly lady comes to the doctor: “Doctor, I have these bloatings, although they don’t bother me so much, it’s annoying. They never stink, and they always go off quietly. Really, I’ve had twenty bloatings since I’m here in the room, although they couldn’t notice it, because without a smell od The doctor: “Take these pills and come back in a week.” After a week she appears again and says: “Doctor! What the hell did you give me? My bloatings, although they are still quiet, they stink terribly!” “Very good. Now that your nose is working again, we want to take care of your hearing…” Greeting Mica

  • Guzzipurchase used…

Hello Guzzisti ́s, I don ́t belong to it, but think about buying a Guzzi 1200 sport at the moment. Budget is only enough for a used one, but I would like to take a 4V. What should be taken into account when buying a used one? Are mileage performances more important than years? Were there year of construction dependent errors? Are there concerns with machines with “motor tuning”? Are there typical problems that could have been avoided with care? f anything too? Which tyres are good or not at all suitable? My dealer buys nothing with more than 15tkm, why could that be so? Is Guzzi not comparable to BMW? Thanks for a quick feedback. The Guzzi is a real character bike on the motorcycle market.
