  • Weaver system to be set up

Good evening, dear community, I give up after 3 days of “google” and turn to you. I drive a 1966 Opel record B 2.0 with double 45 DCOE weber gassing. The system is set according to previous owner, however, he pabbles in the lower speed range, the gas acceptance is very delayed and power is not really developed by the old gentleman either. As mentioned above, I have been looking for a workshop with test bench and experienced “weaver adjusters” in the area of Baden-Württemberg for a while. Ka nn someone would recommend a workshop? Would help me very much as I don’t really want to drive the engine as it is currently set. LG Jacob

  • Factory vans

Just because I’m curious: until a few days ago, there was a polemical thread in the forum on the topic of “Property cars from Porsche Stuttgart”, where Porsche AG didn’t get away well. But what doesn’t mean that I join the – by the way not proven – allegations of the TE. In the meantime, however, the thread has disappeared completely from the forum. Did MT get a muzzle from the P-AG? Did the allegations perhaps exist correctly or were these only felt as business-damaging?

  • Not charging battery

Hello, my motorcycle is a Suzuki GS550 or GN 1 D year 1984. The motorcycle just went out about 1 hour during the ride and didn’t give off any sparks. After a break of half an hour I got sparks again at a foreign start and was able to start again. After another half an hour the machine went out again during the ride. A voltage test showed that the alternator provided alternating current. The voltage dropped however when I gave gas. a new controller is installed. Unfortunately, the problem is not fixed. What can be the cause?

  • Unloading drawer

Hello, I don’t want to drive such a device, but have my bulk goods delivered with it. And now I would like to resort to the concentrated experience of the forum. One to know if this is feasible at all and the other to implement the story if so, so that truckers do not jump into my face every time with the buttocks. So the following situation: unloading bulk material should be done. The unloading should be done on a conveyor belt if possible, that the goods immediately onto a What amount does such a pushing floor push out in the minute? Can you regulate this? What height can the conveyor belt have max.? Are there standards such as high such a trailer must be in the back? How many tons can one load such a pushing floor approx.? I would simply be interested in the payload, since the manufacturers keep themselves very covered there. Has one of you ever unloaded on the conveyor belt? How were the eRfahrungen? Would you do that again? Or tends to m I don’t have much to no idea of… so it would be great if I could hear some opinions about it… Thanks! Chili

  • Survey: How satisfied were you with your Honda in 2014?

Edit: Currently this survey is unfortunately defective, it will be brought to the fore in January of course How time is running. The year is already almost around again and it is hopefully an accident-free and eventful driver year behind you. As in the past years, we would like to take stock at the end of the year and ask you how you came through the year 2014 with your mobile kit. Was everything to your satisfaction or there were worries and annoyances with Your vehicle or the service of the manufacturer? How satisfied were you with your Honda in 2014? Vote in the survey and comment on your praise or criticism. We have to many manufacturers a direct wire and the manufacturers also read on MOTOR-TALK. That’s why your opinion depends on exactly where it should land: Honda.

  • Battery charger, Battery care unit, Discharge and Charger

Hello. Which of the above devices is recommended if the car is not moved over the winter ? I think the most common is the battery charger – but what about care devices such as the “megapulse” from Novitec or discharge and loading devices such as the “accu- jogger” ? Greeting a3kornblume

  • Clean resinated gas line?

Hello, I’m just looking over from the insurance boys to ask you a question. The following problem: I turned off a bug Bj 60 10 years ago without emptying the tank. Stupid mistake, because now everything is glued completely with resinated fuel at the back of the tank to the engine. The line is tightly closed. I stabbed the first 50 cm with a wire but then it was over. Caramba or dilution in the line did not help. Does anyone have an idea of what I can still do? Is there anything that will dissolve this sticky stuff? I’m grateful for every tip!

  • H-Experts

Hello together, I know the topic has been discussed here more often, but I need a few concrete answers. My oldie (Opel Monza) has become 30 years old this summer, but for reasons of time I didn’t have to register him this year, let alone make the H-mark, the Tüv has also expired. Since my everyday car has stretched the hooves on Friday, I absolutely need a mobile kit and the Monza would be the most obvious one for now. But since he needs new Tüv, I thought, I can also make the H-mark immediately, finally saves a few euros and a lot of racing. However, a few flaws cause me to break my head, so that I am not sure if he would pass the test at all immediately: 1. The tyres at the front are quite old, but not cracked (were already mounted at the last Tüv) 2. A progressive rusting at the threshold, about as big as a 5-mark piece (was at the last Tüv 3. slight oil loss on gearbox and differential (remains typical of the opel) 4. various welding works, solidly executed, but not concours-suitable 5. Finishing in the original tone, however, the original decorative stripes have been replaced by a slightly wider ‘pattern’ 6. Retrofit radio, probably from the 80s, but with unsightly box cut-outs in the doors What do you think this works with the H-mark or at least with the normal Tüv? the requirements for the H-mark have been tightened, in particular the GTÜ, which has also been allowed to examine since 2007, should be somewhat stricter?
