  • Expert opinion very much asked

Hello experts! I have to buy a 129er 320SL automatic from 2000. First hand, Full, 120000km, very well maintained third car, checkbook, owner so about 70 years. I don’t worry about the engine, I already have a number smaller in the C-Class than 240. Is the engine too lame for the car? With the automatic I don’t know so well, it should be the electronic five-speed inside I think, you have to pay attention there, is the somehow eye-catching? The car has the AMG package m it the AMG rims, what is there with this package, chassis deeper and harder? I think you in advance for your help and wish you a Happy New Year. LGW

  • Meeting of the Vectra B Forum

Hi As already mentioned in the Vectra B Forum, some users (incl. me) have to set up a meeting of the Vectra B Forum. Kitekater has already started to create a map of Germany with the user residences, so that we can better see where who comes from to find a suitable meeting place. (Thanks at this point already to Kitekater) So, now the question arises, who has any interest in taking part in such a meeting, when the meeting takes place BlackTM has already successfully organized a meeting of the Vectra C Forum. There the meeting was connected with a visit to the Opel parent plant in Rüsselsheim, which I think is a very good idea, which could also be taken into consideration at our Vectra B meetings. Well, I’ve been thinking about it since now, and give suggestions. My suggestion: Time: in spring Place: Around Rüsselsheim incl. factory tour Vehicles: in 1st line natural I would have nothing against Vectra B, but against the ONE OR OTHER Vectra A, or Vectra C. Greetings Hoffi PS: The map where some users are already listed can be found in the link in my signature (“who lives where”

  • bmw screw search without article number

hello in the round there is the possibility to find certain screws somewhere, which can be found in the original accessories at bmw??? to explain: e.g. I need a screw m10x75 10.9 and m8x40 with the well-known inner torx. the original screw from bmw has only a length of (m10)60mm / (m8)25mm. if you have an article number, you get the matching screws displayed. also in the bmw part catalog you get one or the other out. however, you have to know where the part is sitting! n bmw has so many items, you don’t get an article number to tell the spare part service what you want to have. also the spare part service can’t do the search for “m10x75”. the model and the vehicle is completely dirty! > right you can also take a screw from the construction market or screw trade, > but I don’t want to!!! < it should be the originals of bmw - the same color and key drive as the one to be replaced!!! bmw has so many items grapes in all the models of motorcycles and cars, there must be a suitable screw to find!!! I hope it is understandable what I say my greetings andreas

  • BMW K75 ABS Intervals changeable?

Hi guys, unfortunately couldn’t achieve much with the search, so I created the topic. I have to buy a K75 before next year. I only bought a Honda last year to learn, but honestly my heart hangs at BMW. I like the K75s very much, especially since I then also have a conversion in planning. Since I also made my driver’s license with an ABS machine and my current Honda also ABS I wanted to buy a K with ABS. Unfortunately, I noticed that s the braking intervals, especially those of the front wheel, which are very long K instead of short as in the car e.g. have also found something about this via Youtube: Front wheel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3joQxJp7z4 Rear wheel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kcVNlc9y7F0 Just for my actual question: Can you increase the braking interval of the ABS system? Thanks in advance for the answers Ali

  • Suzuki VS 800 Intruder Price

Hey to everyone, I’m less on the road here, but read me here regularly. I have a question for all bikers here. I plan to buy myself a motorcycle this spring for my birthday. One zeros not every year. I have now been offered a Suzuki Intruder VS 800 for purchase. EZ. 1999, type and model: VS 52 B. 25kw, 805 cm3. Kilometer level: 11,000km. The box is super preserved, top maintained, gets new tires due to the long service life (registered since 2002 ), oil change and a new battery, and of course a new tuv. The guy wants to sell me the box for 4,500 €. Is the price ok??? Would be really nice if you could help me here. I have no plan of prices on this. Greetings

  • Pushing through other SUV ́s/BOV ́s at partial load gas blow

Hello together, I know, I have been driving the area with my Greddy Type S for six months now, but I have a question about it now. I hope that someone has dealt with the topic even more than I The Greddy valve is quite comparable from the construction with a closed forge (see picture). I have found a nearly perfect setting using the adjustment screw, but only approximately. If you accelerate e.g. from 1,500 revolutions, the loader then The engine swallows up a little bit later and you go some of the gas during the turn-up. It is absolutely a push-up, but rather a feeling, as if the tank is empty and the air is already sucked. This is very minimal by setting it up, but I just can’t get it completely away. can this be because the greddy is not hit by the pressure coming from the pressure tube, but longitudinally (like the twist recommended by Forge). In theory, it could be that the valve opens too early, the charging pressure is already pressing it, because the control pressure including the spring tension is too low compared to the force due to the charging pressure still attached to the throttle valve. Should I perhaps twist the valve, so change the connections? What about the open BOV ́s? Has someone noticed that? They can only be mounted like my Greddy, because they j a now only have one connection. And now the big quiz question: who knows about it?

  • 1.8 t with over 270 ps. good or not?

Greetings! have no audio tt, but the engine in meim corrado i.e. it will be installed at the moment and on Saturday hopefully ready to ask, so it is the 1.8 t from ttt with 180 ps and it now has 17000 km on it. chiptuning I also have to do immediately, if already power, then right, so on approx. 220-230 ps. he now has the ko3 turbocharger in the small tt engine as much as I know…you can allegedly come by mounting the k04 loader then on approx. 260-280 ps. chip is tuned etc. do you think this is useful and is a simply too much for the relatively small 1.8 liter engine? will my everyday car be summer. so 230 will be enough for me for the first time, is only for interest, because the increase to 260-280 ps would cost only about 1300 euro… but don’t know if my car can bring this on the road without 4×4??

  • 1 l oel on 6000km????

hiho, unfortunately had to find out that with ttc225 (bj 2001) within the last 6000km of ONE liter oil used. since I only have the vehicle since just this 6000km, I can of course not say if it had been like this before. km was now about 43000. at the friendly, at which I had bought the ttc, they told me that such a consumption would be normal. I can hardly believe that. I have already had some vehicles, tdi and also gasoline turbo, but so much oil have the self m it does not consume 190.000 km. oil stains under the car I did not. because the oil is not exactly cheap and also from o. g. gruenden I would like to know whether this is really soo normal or what it could be. thank you already
