  • Short circuit during assembly tank and battery BWW R850R

    I didn’t exactly catch a lead of the tank at the front of the tank when the tank was pushed down, so it came to a short circuit with the battery. It got a bit of smoke up and the fuse no. 5 engine was through. Starting did not work even after replacement of the 15Ampere fuse. That then also burned again. I have not examined anything further.     Hello, now it’s happened again. The car reports system testing. The exhaust gas cleaning system comes to the floor again. But now I noticed something strange. The first time I had the error at approx. 1600-1700 KM. Now I have exactly the double on the tacho and the error comes again. So there is a cycle here. Of course I drove back to my dealer. (in the NOt program) and had the error reset. Then everything went as usual again. However, the If it is in the manual, you should not move the vehicle any more, otherwise the warranty will expire..!!!! So to all FK3’lers who have the standard particle filter. The error comes back after approx. 1600-1700 KM. Can someone confirm this to me?

  • Protech running light indicators do not work after assembly – Kawasaki Z900

    Hey together, I mounted the license plate holder on my Kawasaki Z900 and carried out the wiring. I installed Protech running light indicators, and a matching LED relay is already installed. The license plate lamp works perfectly, but the turn signals remain without function – no matter how I connect them (left or right). What I have already checked: • Voltage is there, because the license plate lamp is lit. • I re-poled the turn signals several times, but without success. • I led the cables through the intended opening – can it be that it’s too tight somewhere? • I also tried to plug the plugs in deeper, but it doesn’t bring any change. • Yesterday the turn signals lit even though they weren’t completely plugged in. Addition: None of the four turn signals flash. The front two are still the original ones.
