Hello, Need a good tip Have bought me complete rebuilt Harley Fat Boy and need an insurance. Am with my cars at the HUK but have read in the forums (V2 Peter) that you should go to a different insurance. But could not find anything in the forums. So please your tip or experiences you have made with the insurances. Should one submit an opinion at the insurances so that one has no stupid awakening after it???

E-Glide is only running in stationary gas
Hi guys, I absolutely need technical advice because I have no idea at all about screwing! But what net is can still be:-)!! So to the problem: During my last exit I had at once misignitions and it went out. It jumps back to normal but as soon as you get over a certain point in the gas it goes out again!! I have already checked the nozzles on the carburetor for pollution. And fuel gets them too. Maybe a problem with d he ignition!!?? So who would have a tip for me would be great or maybe even know what that is. Thanks already in advance.

Repairing worn-out paint?
Hello, I have a question about a 10 year old Astra whose paint is extremely worn out (stratter & glossy) . Some of you will now think: “What does this one want? An Astra is not a classic car” I also give that one absolutely right! But the paint condition of the Astra is really extremely bad, which is due to “inappropriate” use on the field and flea. Since the car is now to be “resocialised” and is on the road again in the city, the paint should be back in Ord What suggestions do you have for the varnish? A certain product with which you have had good experience? A paint cleaner or rather a polish? You can no longer do a lot of work with the varnish. Would I be happy if you could help me with your experiences a little bit further! Many greetings Jochen

Actros MP3 reverse gear should stay inside
Hello guys I got a few additional reversing lamps mounted on my Actros Mp3 from the company. Unfortunately they have connected it so that they only glow when the reverse gear is in. No toss. Switch. But if I have to unload somewhere in the dark, I also want to see something when unloading and not only when driving backwards. The Actros switches back into neutral after a certain time, if I leave the reverse gear in it. So that’s not how it works. a tip? Can you somehow leave the reverse gear in it? Or does it only help to wire differently? Thanks and greetings

N63 TU Engines Coolant Thermostat / extended warranty in the USA / A check may be worthwhile.
Servus, as many know, I’ve been falling for the N63 engine for about 10 years, a real hate / love. After I’m super satisfied with my N63TU3, like many others, I finally found a “weak spot”, which is just as interesting and important for you, since it may lead to extremely expensive consequential damage (wire harness + motor control unit + off-installation of the engine). In turn: In the last weeks I’ve noticed two things:1.) Farid (he has In one of his YouTube videos, he reported on a G30 550i in which the engine control unit was defective, since the thermostat coolant plug has penetrated the capilar effect into the engine control unit and destroyed it. As a result, the engine had to be installed off and back in order to replace the destroyed wire harness + a new engine control unit. Source: https://youtu.be/fuvC_lANB5Q?si=BgLfVExXUWLXXjXF at minute 7:09 see 2.) In the USA forums there have been reports that drivers of N63TU(X) vehicles received mail from BMW, in which they were informed about a “voluntary extended” warranty for the thermostat. The guarantee is then 15 years or 150,000 miles. Naturally only valid in the USA. Source:https://f92.bimmerpost.com/…/showthread.php?… Now I have been having the fun of “searching” my vehicle with the endoscope. I will now replace the thermostat and the water pump and examine the wire harness. I hope that the plug housing is still dry for me. If someone wants to do this for themselves, then please click here for:https://youtu.be/okVBrqZgmp0?si=oOQ5izRcf28VENaX I do not want to claim that every vehicle is affected, but it is worth it with a damage risk of easy 5k Euro, If someone wants to examine the plug on the motor control unit (in driving direction right), the plug is called A46*3B. Important, however, is that the thermostat is ok, or at some point it is changed for a current part, which does not have this error.

The good old license plate
Hello together, Last week I was on the highway and had an Opel Corsa B in front of me. Same had the good old license plate without this disgusting blue Europe flag. I first thought I didn’t see right, but it was definitely an old license plate. Also the letter size was different from those of today’s license plates. I want to have such an old license plate on my oldie !!! I once let myself tell that these license plates n , which were already registered before the conversion to new signs and have not been re-registered since, thus still in possession of the owners of that time. Does someone know a way to get to such an old number plate ? Say something about it … Greetings!

/8 240d Experiences? Recommendation as everyday oldie?
Hello together, I play with the idea of getting a /8 as a daily oldie for the summer and to use my previous daily only seasonally in the winter. Have I already made a little knowledge in the net and with it the 240d already a little closer into the eye. Can this can be recommended as a daily oldie? Important would be that it is reasonably economical in terms of consumption. are average consumptions below 10l realistic? Thanks already and greetings, fullsize

Callback action of XVS 650 A….!!!!!
Hello together! On 01.04.05 (no April joke ) in our newspaper read about a recall action of Yamaha: It reads: “Because of possible problems with the attachment of the passenger seat, Yamaha calls numerous motorcycles into the workshops! According to Yamaha Deut. it is about the types XV 125, XV 250, XVS 650, XVS 650 A, XVS 1100 and XVS 1100 A! In some versions, it cannot be excluded that the passenger seat dissolves and the Sozius falls!” Call to my dealer or Yamaha Germany, this was confirmed, but it said, there are still notifications sent to the respective owners! This has not been done until today!!! Furthermore, I have to say that my dealer, but also the employees of the German Niderlassung, were again very unfriendly, yes really patzig !!! If this goes on, it was certainly the last Yamaha!!!! Did you get any information? Since you started working? Gruss, Sammy
