Hello guys, my Lupo 1.4 TDI is again unfit for driving. This time the gears don’t go in. I can move the gear lever around nicely, there is no resistance. The problem has already occurred twice. At that time just a mother was loose. After the tightening went then again with the switching. The problem was then here:http://www.bahnbilder.net/ablage/problem.jpghttp://www.bahnbilder.net/ablage/problem2.jpg For safety we then screwed on a second nut, so that the first can’t get loose again. But now the problem comes up again, although both nuts were fixed. So it seems that some gears or something has been sanded off so far that almost no contact exists anymore. With trouble and hardship we have now tightened the mother so firmly that you got in gears again. With that I drove the cart to the workshop. The workshop man said that in the worst case the complete gear has to be changed. He does not know What do you think of all this? Can you tell me exactly what that is, what it’s called and whether it can be installed separately? Or is it something completely different? Hopefully, no completely new gear has to be in, hopefully, hopefully…. Greetings, Kai

3l Gearbox
Hello to the specialists, I stopped yesterday with my 3l Lupo, built in 1999, 92000km. No more gas. Was towed by the friendly ADAC employee to the VW workshop, which had the following diagnosis ready: Some switch no longer detects the rolling lever position. Are allegedly 2 switches that have to be changed. Costs 100 Euro for the switches and 460 Euro for the installation. But now comes the best thing about the history. The workshop can not garant A wonderful statement is not true… My question to you: Has someone already experienced something similar with his 3l, or does he know what is talking about here? Many thanks already in advance!!!

Soon 18 and First Car Purchase
Hello motor friends, I have registered here today on your forum because I find the information about different cars very informative. I am not such a big car connoisseur, but it is time to look more closely into the matter so that I do not do anything wrong with my first car purchase. Well then: -My budget that is available to me will probably be 3000-500€. -And the car should be cheap in insurance and consumption. -min. 4/5 sitting I play with the thought of a Lupo but not to bring one under 75 ps, have thought so of the 1.4 16V also 1.6. GTI would definitely be too expensive. Which car would you recommend otherwise, what comes into question with the above criteria? Thank you for your answers, in advance

Question about charging system General
Hello MB Community, we would like to buy an EQB and have no experience with e-cars and everything included. Our garage has a normal high current connection, nothing else. With which cable is an EQ delivered by default? Would the “Flexible Charging System Pro” be a reasonable purchase or must in any case a wallbox be installed to be able to charge “better” at some point? Are other cables needed by the offered cables? urzen Input. Best regards

EQS SUV 580 with quality problems (high-frequency engine noise etc)
Hello, I got a Mercedes EQS SUV 580 in June as a company leasing vehicle for quiet, long rides, because I have become very noise-sensitive. So far, however, I have been very disappointed by Mercedes and the car. The car has the following problems: 1. E-motor noise during the ride There is a high-sounding surreptitiously, which can be heard clearly. On other stereo EQS SUV models you can hear nothing or only very quiet, but not disturbing. According to Mercedes, the Allra I drive a Tesla MY as a second car and had a Tesla M3 before. I also know other electric vehicles. None of the other cars makes such a disturbing, whistling sound. 2. Grinding noise when driving backwards At low speed, there is a loud scratching loop when driving backwards. Lt. Mercedes is the “normal”. But this was then “repaired” and Now the car squeaks instead on the reverse drive. And in addition, the rear axle is still clapping when driving. 3. Electronics – Route planning With the option “Plan loadstop” under “Electric Intelligence” the route planning is guided arbitrarily via detours that make no sense. 4. Electronics – Profile storage The settings for a user profile are not permanently stored, even if a synchronization is performed manually. In addition to these points, there were other problems that could not be expected with such a car: dirty steering level at handover, small leather damage, gap measurement problems with the center console etc.. The car was in the workshop for over 3 weeks and the problems could not be fixed. In particular, point 1 was said that one still has to wait for the Ok from the plant in Stuttgart until one has to drive the drive against a I expect a solution from Mercedes and I am already slowly ready for a return of the contract for me. Has anyone experienced similar problems with the EQS SUV? I have found contributions to point 2, but not to point 1. VG F.

More economical in S-mode than in E-mode!
Today I carried out the following test. I drove a drive of about 10 KM country road (70 or 50 km/h) with mode E. The consumption was about 4 degrees at 22 KW. Same distance in “I Mode” (with engine was set the mode S. The consumption of 19, 7 KW came out. There was very little traffic on the road. During the test drive I had the energy flow display on the screen. The S mode almost always drives with the front engine, while the E mode always drives with the rear engine. Have you already observed this? The front engine seems to be more economical. Do you know what power the front and rear engine has? I have read once that the front engine has 140 KW and the rear engine has 245 KW(?)

EQS SUV and emergency braking
So I am appalled by the EQS SUV, several times it triggers an emergency braking on the free track for no apparent reason. Just just happened again, that was so violent that now the chest of the belt really hurts me. And no, it was only a small construction site on the right side of the road, where I wanted to drive by with plenty of distance. That’s why the vehicle should not trigger a danger braking so violently! Has as said already occurred more often! In any case, I am losing more and more the desire for the vehicle, which does not happen with an Audi Q8 or a BMW Z4 in the same place, with comparable equipment! If this continues, then I turn off the like again at the dealer and they can become soulful! I would be very grateful about useful tips!

Real consumption EQE 500 SUV vs. App ad – your experiences?
Hello, we have been driving the EQE 500 SUV for almost 3 months. According to the app, the average fuel consumption is 30.7 kWh/100 km. However, the actual fuel consumption (i.e. the charged energy quantity per kilometer) differs significantly and is at 37.7 kWh/100 km. My driving style is rather moderate, and our previous electric car, a BMW iX3, we have driven over 2 years with an average fuel consumption of 25.9 kWh/100 km. I would like to know how high your real vehicle is. needs to be with the EQE 500 SUV. Please share your values – and do not use the information from the app, as they do not always seem to correspond to reality. Please look forward to your feedback!

AB Sportscars: Combos OPC, S4, 335ix, R36
I have just finished the edition of the Auto Bild Sportscars in front of me. Here are compared the Kombi versions of OPC, BMW 335ix, Audi S4 and VW Passat R36. Racetrack was the Sachsenring. Conclusion, oh wonder: 1) Audi S4 He drives in his own world and has real addictive potential. The engine works almost too perfectly. Unfortunately, the fun is not cheap, but every single cent is worth. 0 – 100: 5.3 0 – 200: 19.6 lap time: 1:43.83 curb weight: 1.819 KG 2) BMW 335ix Ohn E M-package equipped he beats himself more than passable. The charged row six is so vehemently at work that one does not believe him the “only” 306 hp. 0 – 100: 5.7 0 – 200: 22.1 lap time: 1:47.57 curb weight: 1.767 KG 3) Opel Insignia OPC First and foremost the OPC fights with its weight. However, its standard Brembo brakes are completely unimpressed. First-class Recaro seats. 0 – 100: 6.5 0 – 200: 24.3 lap time: 1:47.52 curb weight: 1.880 KG 4) VW Pas sat R36 As one with a suction engine, he collects sympathy points, but his days seem to be numbered. He cannot keep up with the charged aggregates of his competitors. For this he offers a lot of space 0 – 100: 6,1 0 – 200: 25,3 lap time: 1:48,30 curb weight: 1,770 KG The newspaper can otherwise be given… much Bla Bla … and not much interesting- for me belongs to the genre car e.g. the engine respectively exhaust sound, which in no syllable of any car he I don’t want to say anything about the performance of over 1.8 tons and 8 hp more than the OPC! But that doesn’t change the fact that the overall package of the S4 is certainly the deserved winner.
