  • Porsche and Managing Director

Hello dear Porsche community, I have a somewhat unusual question today, which I am very interested in. Are there any of you managing directors who are employed by a medium-sized company or are possibly also shareholders? I would like to address these people and ask them if they drive a Porsche as a business car. If not (so if the Porsche is driven privately) I would be interested in what then complements the fleet, so what is then driven on business. I ch hope for active participation Best regards Commander

  • Lamborghini Huracan Loss of value

Moin dear car friends, I’ve been looking at various sports cars since last year. I finally decided on a Huracan LP610. My question now is: What do you think will develop in value? I’m ready to spend about 190,000 € for a good used one. I think it will be the last production of Lamborghini that has a suction engine. I doubt that it will increase in value too. My question, however, is how it will develop in value. Wi e will be high about the loss of value after 3 years. Greetings!

  • My new F355 Berlinetta with 512TR engine upgrade (rebuilt from Ferrari 8 Zyl to Ferrari 12 Zyl)

In November 2014 I bought my F 355 with 512 TR engine conversion. It has the Fghnr. ZFFXR41B000108671 and was delivered on 6.5.1997 at Zender. Color: Rosso, upholstery: nero Equipment: ABS, El. window lifter, El. immobilizer, light metal rims, checkbook maintained, power steering, central locking, anti-lock system, sports suspension, immobilizer, power steering despite 512TR motor, central locking, no air conditioning! Complete conversion with 12 cylinder Testarossa 512TR motor and 5 Ga ng 512TR transmission at 55,182 Km stand from the company Dirk Küster Fahrzeugtechnik Düsseldorf, rear axle and braking system, adapted, control units and electronics adapted, modification cable harness and cockpit, sports exhaust system modified, everything entered in the papers!!! Service – and board folder original and complete! German vehicle with delivery at Maranello Motors GmbH in Cologne. A true masterpiece that only exists once in the world!” On 3.7.1998 was at 10,723km the 10,000km inspection at Maranello Motors in Cologne. Already on 15.9.1998 at 31.028km was the 30,000km inspection at Becker in Düsseldorf. Funny so many km in only 2.3 months….. On 30.10.1998 there was at 31.700km a new engine at Auto-Becker!!!! 2000-2001 the conversion took place at Dirk Küster in Düsseldorf. The 355 was widened at the rear by about 13cm very nice and conversion tank lid. The whole auxiliary frame with suspensions was rebuilt and adapted. The engine hood had to be completely changed and is a real work of art. Unfortunately, the stability is no longer there, because normal shock absorbers cannot be installed. Heating adjustment Warm/cold is only possible by hand at the front. So far no other solution in sight! Up to now the Ferrari had no handbrake and still Tüv…. The handbrake was retrofitted, the Mot or resealed and large inspection with timing belts etc., front grill after equipped and much more…. The client of the conversion was an older architect from Neuss. Conversion costs approx. 200,000€. He simply wanted a Ferrari where no one else has. Dirk Küster is supposed to live in South Africa by now. That sounds like a real 12 cylinder…https://www.youtube.com/watch?…https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5TgFaNqpjA Current problems: Headlights despite cleaning the lenses and conversion on Philips x treme vision, the lamps are still too dark for me! I’m still worried about an engine jerking in the warm state. Maybe just a lambda probe or like my Ferrari screwdriver meant to be old fuel in the tank! With the current shell seats I don’t get a new tuv. I had my car transport trailer widened in the back that my F512GTB now fits and can be transported forward. I have now finally found a few small ramps in order to get there without The mounted Good Year Eagle F1 tires I would like to renew despite good profile, since from 2008. Which tires can you recommend me? LG Tim

  • Getting used to performance

Now I have been able to call many cars my own. With over the years more and more performance Civic (75hp) -> CRX (160hp) -> S2000 (241hp) -> 3er (306hp, then tuning on 360hp) -> 5er (321hp) -> Shelby (671hp) -> Shelby ( Tuning on 730hp). It’s always the same thing. I’m always excited about the extra performance. I have fun and joy at the increase in performance. The new car is really in a mood. But after 2-3 months it seems like I’ve been looking forward to the performance. Somehow there’s no thrill anymore and I want more performance again, because the car doesn’t seem to me as fast as I had it new anymore. Is it possible for you? Can you get used to performance and it gets boring then???? From when is enough performance sometimes permanent enough???

  • Attention: Test of the spare wheel no longer part of the normal maintenance service at Volvo

This week our C30 was the normal service with the friendly. The car has a resevé tire – so no breakdown set. In the work sheet is therefore also crossed out the test of the breakdown set. During the tire pressure test the air pressure was reputably corrected and the four lufdt pressure values also correctly noted. Somehow I lacked the fifth value for air pressure…. so I raised the spare wheel the same evening at the tank stop and checked the pressure: instead of planned 4.2 bar were only 1.3 bar available… obviously not tested for years. (I drive the car only rarely….) Well – I know the master as well as the performing mechanic only as reliable and serious working – and mistakes would be human So: my demand has now revealed that the testing of the spare wheel is excluded from normal service!!! (Pannenset would be, however, as I said, part of the service). We are not talking about the reduced service or even 6+, but wirkli ch from the normal annual maintenance/service service… Well, I started to get excited about and again. But such a kind of guidelines for the implementation – apparently from Volvo-Germany? – results in nausea. There was also no warning on the bill that important work of the customer should be done here please yourself… I will address the boss there once. So I can only advise to check the scope of the tests myself and to check for important things. In the meantime, the check of the tyre pressure in the spare wheel… This certainly gives many satisfied customers and recommendations for the contract workshops of VOLVO Deutschland GmbH. Continue so Best regards, Gerhard v40d

  • Porsche 911 Carrera 4S – Airbag, seat and ECU problems

Hello, I have a few questions about a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S where I hope you will help me. The problems are as follows: – Airbag: The airbag lamp has been lit for some time. So far, the old workshop could not find the error. – Seat: The electric seat adjustment of the rear seat back does not work anymore. Via the button on the seat, this can no longer be adjusted in the inclination. Also the pre-programmed seat adjustment which via the e Buttons on the door or with the key should work, only goes in the sitting position forward or back. Nothing happens here in the inclination either. – Reading the ECU: After reading the ECU out today, I find the following error codes, which after research in the net do not really tell me anything. Maybe you have more experience here: Car Scanner ELM OBD2 DTC report =================1======================= 1281 Raw code: 000501 ECU: 15. SRS[Archive (inakti v)] Status: Confirmed =================2======================= 41505 Raw code: 00A221 ECU: 17. Dashboard Status: Test failed (current driving cycle), Stands out, Confirmed, Test failed since the last deletion of the error codes (DTC codes) =======================3======================== 0033 Raw code: 000021 ECU: 53. Parking brake[Archive (inactive)] Status: Confirmed Would be great if someone could give me a tip on the individual points.

  • Problem with reverse – Macan GTS

Moin together, I have the following problem: When I put in the reverse gear and then take the foot off the brake, it takes felt 2-3 seconds until the Macan reacts with movement also the gas acceptance finds only delayed satisfied. If I stand down, it rolls even with inserted reverse gear forward. Two times introducing the service did not bring anything. It was refilled only once gear oil – but without any effect. You can’t recreate the phenomenon… H someone here has ever had something similar? Many greetings, Helge

  • FJR1300 BJ 2007 Tyre problem

After a trip to the Black Forest, my front tyre on the flanks with a strong sawtooth profile completely went off. The tyres are Bridgestone BTO20. The rear tyre looks fine. The motorcycle BJ 2007 ran 4000 km (after the trip of approx. 600 km) and had had a normal profile abrasion before, i.e. 70% is still on it. Since the phenomenon occurred on a single day I am a bit perplexed. Do you know the problem?
