Hello together, I’m looking for information about the AR-35 with the max. load, with which you can load the gearbox/should. Background is the conversion to a compressor with a max. charging pressure of approx. 0.3-0.4 bar. I want to keep the AT gearbox, so as far as possible no manual gearbox can be built –> Laziness wins If the gearbox would do what I can’t really believe now, I would dare this conversion, otherwise I will leave it. Because according to my current status there is no alternative gearbox for the 3l, on which one could avoid. Or rather? What does it look like with gearbox reinforcements? (let it be done) Maybe one can help me to write or even links to pages in the net??? Or has anyone here already realized what I am trying to do??? Greetings and good night! *edit* Some interesting pages have already found about the SuFu, but vll do you still have some special sites for me?

Tango tachometer dances – Opel Omega B Caravan 2,0 l 16 V
Halli Hello, I’m new here and have a huge problem with my Opel Omega B Vauxal 2.0 l 16 V. The car starts normal, but as soon as it reaches 90 degrees, the speedometer starts to dance and the car goes off, even at high speed. Then I have to turn off the car and leave it at least 5 minutes, because it no longer starts. Only then it starts again and runs quite normal, does not go out. Since I have already read a lot of things here, I have already done a lot: the idle speed regulator removed, the bore cleaned, then I tested it, it works, because it is only a magnetic switch. Air quantity meter had corrosion, I cleaned out. All hoses of mud free and then blown it up. He ran very clean, only when he arrived at 92 degrees, the speedometer hit out again and it listened as if he had a lack of fuel. He had misigned already, he went out. Keys out and approaching again a few minutes, he jumped immediately. He ran Ach can’t over 98 degrees, the fan didn’t know how to be told of the same thing, then again. I said hello to say hello, I said hello, I said hello, I said hello, I said hello to my friend!

C 70 / Shopping experience
Hello together, on Thursday I (and my wife) get a new C 70 convertible. I (we are happy!) After I was always very happy with the XC90 D5, EZ 2.2004 and I sold our “second car” Passat TDI year 1998 after more than 200.00 Km on eBay, it should be a convertible. I looked at various cars. BMW 330CI (also three-year-old too expensive). MINNI (super saleswoman but in leasing more expensive than the C 70. -with wholesale agreement) VW EOS – the seller called – although I signaled concrete purchase intentions for today only after three days. Pretence “technical problems with the PC” etc. Basically, a purchase decision depends heavily on the seller – and therefore I write these lines- I would be interested beyond the car what experiences you have made when buying your car. I mean some people really don’t need it and that bothers me. With the new Volvo dealer from Delmenhorst, who here in Oldenburg I was honest to say hello.

Saved at the wrong end…
Again, I have to get angry with blue and think, what do the idiots who do that think? About what it’s about? Well, I’ve been thinking about buying an SUV for a long time, my first favorite was the Touareg 2.5 TDI. When I was studying the data, I noticed that the “small” T-Reg is a savings version, smaller brakes, etc. How can you save on the brakes? OK, then I found a special offer on the Internet at a Volvo dealer, a 7-seater XC90 with reinforced brakes (the 5-seater also has a smaller brake) and pretty much the equipment that I would have taken before. In the professional press, the XC90 was pretty good, why not? The only manco – the small tank, it’s only 80 liters compared to the T-Reg with 100. But the XC90 as a diesel has only 68 liters!!! What is that supposed to do? That’s why I can’t build up the same tank in both models?

Sunrise SIM card
Hello Swiss V70 driver! Have since last Wednesday after 15 years Saab my first Volvo (V70R). An absolute top vehicle, although my last Saab 9-5 Aero SportCombi was not from “bad parents”… How it goes, also with a brand change comes up one or the other question! Certainly in this country (CH) one of you has an S60 or V70 with the communication pack, so with telephone. Now to the actual question: from meem telephone provider Sunrise I received a second SIM card in advance (of course against payment), which I can operate each time before driving on my mobile phone. To this extent everything works perfectly. Only I wonder, which command I can control the SIM card in the car even without my mobile phone!? In theory this would have to happen over *100#2, but this is apparently not supported by the Volvo keyboard! Would be nice if someone could give me a tip! Grüessli from the enthusiastic R driver…

Another test drive V70 D5 – new impressions and decision
I have now been able to do a test drive in a V70 D5 with a performance chassis and 18″ wheels. A very nice chassis, which I criticized ́s swinging’ of the normal suspension was gone, yet there was still enough comfort. I noticed negatively that the whole vehicle seemed a bit ́klapperig ́, certainly a result of the harder shocks caused by the suspension. That was noticed but not really bad. Bad for me (my purely personal feeling) once again the extremely soft seats. For over 25 years I have been paying attention to the fact that in my vehicles (much-drivers with approx. 50,000 km / year) tight padded sports seats, partly Recaro seats are installed, with the result that I have no back problems at all. (whether this really is due to the seats, I do not know of course) For my decision, these seats unfortunately mean the KO for the V70. A little pity, the V70 really likes me quite well and it lies exactly in the middle between the two remaining BMW 3er touring and a competent Avant answer.

1% Leasing 2018
Hello dear Phaeton community, first of all I would like to wish you a happy new year! For a long time now I have been reading with me in this forum. I also want to lease a Phaeton for some time. However, not to simply put it back after 2 or 3 years, but to buy it after the lease end. In my opinion this vehicle is a masterpiece of VW. Since I am absolutely car affine, I would like to be well prepared for this topic and hope you can help me with your great experience here. What would you recommend to me at the moment? Diesel? Gasoline? Which dealer is trustful here? I have read that all Phaeton go back to the glass manufactory before delivery? Is that true and if so, what is done there? I don’t care about the monthly rate. I want to buy a vehicle that includes everything that makes him age with me in 2/3 years. I also have in mind that when buying after Leasende VW a certain part of the VK price and you can buy the car price at a special price?

XC80 V8: Am I heretic??
Hello V8-Fans and Dreams, the following post I have just posted in a different thread for a member who wants to order a V8 at the same time. But I think that there are others who are interested in the idea: think about it again with the V8….drive it in detail at least 2 days in all situations, under all conceivable circumstances…. Was yesterday on the way… lot of highway with it…. When you set off the “I love V8-engines” glasses, a XC90 (okay!) remains, which seems to have an electric drive when driving slowly (okay?) and when driving faster a six-cylinder (not okay) and an annoying-nervous switching gear (not okay)….and an exorbitant consumption, which is in KEINSTER relation to performance!!! The difference to the D5 is really expected to be around 70% in the evening.

Mini R56 (2007er) does not pull, control chain defective???
Moin, my friend’s mini can’t drive any more. The following situation: It was only a slow driving … not faster than 20 KM/h … possible. When starting the engine raced briefly and he didn’t pull properly. At one traffic light the engine went out and could be started again after a little time. After that my friend could only drive home at very low speed. The engine could only be driven underboard. It did not light up any control lamp during this whole time. The mini was towed to a workshop. Result: too little oil and the control chain should be renewed. Cost 1.90€. The magnetic valve was already changed for 160€ and did not bring any improvement. What do you think of the workshop diagnosis? To the Mini R56: 120,000 KM, N12, 1 year in possession and very well maintained. Can it only be located at the very low oil level that it is no longer really mobile? Or can it actually be located at the control chain? That had not caused any problems until now and was not heard before. Anyway, I want to change it from the ‘favorable’ workshop and then.

A taillight without function
Hello dear forum members, We have recently also become the owner of a Mini Countryman 1.6d. When purchasing the vehicle we noticed the error message: “Back and brake light on the left defective”. Without thinking anything bad we bought the car. It is not affected the complete tail light, but only the upper light bulb is completely dark. After replacing it remained without function. Then we measured the current on the plug and only then found that there is no voltage on the contact. The cable harness seems to run forward on the right side of the vehicle (probably in the direction of the fuse box). Would someone help us and tell us in which direction we could look further? We would be very grateful for every tip!
