  • safety in car construction – once again, sometimes different

the sale of the lexus gx 460 was temporarily stopped in the usa, because consumer reports thinks that the car would break out if one was too fast in a curve fæhrt. with other comparable vehicles intervenes because the electronic stabilizer control, something that would not happen at the lexus before the car is almost sebwærts on the road. schøn und gut, that is fæhrlich – but should one really put such inspection? from when is it no longer normal that a monster of au to break into too fast curves? praiseworthy is toyotas reaction, which now probably do everything to write their security scandal in the book of forgetfulness. dear gruss oli

  • ver-(worse) improvements from one model to the next, experience thread for hardcore-volvisti

At the moment, strategy is discussed everywhere in the forum, what should and can volvo do to address as many (but somehow not too many) customers as possible. this is always a bit cloudy and little concrete. I would be interested to know what those of you who have already had several volvos have noticed from one model to the next for concrete differences that either (long awaited?) improve or even (completely incomprehensible?) recede. real and experienced details, such as seats, light, concrete practical solutions etc. since my transition from “very old” to “old” volvo should not be so interesting for everyone I wait with my insight until tonight… dear gruss oli

  • Making Electrics Completely New

Hello, I have a 1973 Hanomag fire brigade on 12V with a MB M115 gasoline engine. The electrics is completely broken. I think about making them completely new. Does anyone know a simple control unit for turn signals, light etc? I get ignition and engine start so well. Thanks and greeting Andreas

  • Can anyone recognize this car from the interior?

  • Wire harness burned through BMW 525 Year 1974 E12

Hello you love, my beloved E12 is the starter and the wire harness burned through. Now good advice is expensive. Do you have an idea what you can do? I want the vehicle back on the road, just how do you handle it?

  • Headlights extend McLaren MP4 12C

Hello, with my McLaren Mp4 the headlights have to be removed. Who has a guide to it or knows someone who could take over it. The problem, under which headlight glass has formed stains, similar to white crystals or snowflakes. In order to expand the headlights the front part must be dismantled, says the workshop of McLaren. The headlight glasses (plastic) are renewed and glued. Cost approx. 2800 Euro incl. VAT. That is quite happy. ße Michael

  • CB 500, Transalp or what?

Fans, I still want to invest in a Honda despite “something” of advanced age. Which do you suggest for me? I have been on a CB 500F trial today. How does the used market look like? And what confidence can one assume in case of an accident-free situation? Would be grateful for a few hints.

  • Who knows a CBF 600 N really well?

Servus, yesterday I laughed at a CBF 600 N – year 8/2010, 17,000 km -. I would be interested in your experience values. In every respect. Positive and negative. At the end of the 90s I was allowed to drive a 600 hornet, which I had spontaneously fallen in love with. I did not drive it very long, however, because I was still in training and at some point I missed the money 🙁 After that I did not ride a motorcycle for 15 years. In the middle of July I arrived from f the glorious idea of laughing at a “best possible working animal” (with which I really wanted to go to work every day) and finally ended up with a CM 185 T (BJ: 1978), but I am simply too little lover and also not a “screwer” to get along with such a really very solid motorcycle. I then returned it again (of course with loss) and got the CBF for it, which I like very much and with which I have already been driving for several years my father got himself with the first Norton Commando 961 S registered in Germany a few years ago and we will do a longer tour again and again. I would really be very happy about some helpful tips. renhoeg

  • GSX R 1000 K4 Question

Hello, yesterday I got a GSX R 1000, now I have a question, and it doesn’t start without pulling the clutch in idle. Is that normal? So I know this when there’s a gear in it, but not when it’s on N. Didn’t have a 1000 gicxe yet maybe that’s normal. Well, thank you for the first time. Ciao
