Dear community, I will soon be 17 and then have my car license. On this occasion I would like to get a 50cc machine. Since I am less of the scooter fan I have noticed looking for bitsl, that there are only some overpriced new models only oldtimers, you look reasonable and run. Since I find the oldtimer look anyway very nice I have been looking further in this range, and finally ended up with the Simson S50/51, especially because of spare parts existence, appearance and Ge speed. I know that the Simson will probably not be too reliable, but I don’t need it because I get a car. It’s used as a hobby. However, since I’ve never had a mopped, let alone a vintage car, I don’t know about moppeds. Now to my “questions”: 1. I’m 1.85 m tall, the Samsons are not supposed to have been built for big meches. 2. I don’t know how to do crafts on moppeds yet, but I’ve got a lot of speed. Do you think we can handle any problems? 3. I would buy a completely restored model, which price is realistic/acceptable? 4. S50 or S51? And where (if available) is the elementary difference? I hope for many helpful answers, but I don’t want to be converted to 125 or similar. Thanks already LG Felix

Oil specification Hydrostat transmission API CD
A nice hello. My off-road mower has the hydrostat transmission TuffTorq K62/k66. As manufacturer’s specification for the suitable oil for the hydrostat transmission I can only find: SAE 10W-30, API CD “API CD” seems to be an outdated standard. That was my Google research. I did not find any other useful for this. Does any of you know which oil is suitable for this? I have read in the topic API certificate, but here it is always only about engine oils or the term “CD” kan i don’t relate to API anywhere. It’s not about the cheapest oil but about the right one. Thank you for your opinions and possible experiences / expertise.

Problems with Tecumseh OHV 11,5 HP
Hi, maybe one of you can help me further. The problem is a Tecumseh OHV in a 11.5 HP MTD lawn tractor. The engine spings well, runs briefly and then goes out again. The following works were done: tank cleaned, fuel filter renewed, spark plug replaced. In the carburetor some rubber rings were swollen, instead of a rep set it was completely replaced for a new part. Fuel flows more than enough to the carburetor, the float chamber is also vol. l. The ignition spark is regular and nice blue. The air filter is clean, the battery is full. After a problem-free cold start the engine dies after approx. one minute and is difficult to start and then after a few seconds to go out again. Until the sudden death it runs clean and without any signs, then suddenly to go out – as if it were switched off. If you put a few drops of petrol into the intake tract, the engine starts immediately, but after a few seconds– when the fuel is burned out again. When the engine is running, the full speed is 3000 rpm, the idle is almost 1800 rpm (measured). The dealer is at the end with his Latin and I honestly also wrote. Who of you has an idea? Hello, I have a huge problem. I started the driver’s license at the beginning of March. This week should be theoretical exam and next week practical exam. However, my application did not come back. That’s why I called the Landratsamt. They told me that the purchase at my age is not possible. I own all two-wheeled driver’s license and the car driver’s license. I have to make the truck bill for the fire department. Accordingly, it is not used commercially! uf the Landratsamt told me that I could apply for an exemption and I had to make an MPU (this is not the MPU that you have to do in case of a driving licence withdrawal). But it didn’t tell me who I had to do it with. I was with the lawyer. He can’t do anything. The law has been so fixed since 19.01. I could only sue my driving teacher for having to pay me all the costs (doctor, tests, driving school costs, travel costs, etc.). The driving school is more than cheap! Purchase advice 996: Turbo, Turbo S or GT2?
Hello dear forum members and Porsche drivers, I would like to buy a Porsche 996 and need some expert opinions. For me there are two basic considerations when buying, the first is the everyday fitness, I would like to allow the Porsche with a season mark from May to October and use it as the sole vehicle (so certainly also for a Lake Garda holiday and an alpine pass tour, but also for shopping in the supermarket and the daily W eg into the work – about 10 km easy). The second important aspect to me is the maintenance of values, which is the highest in the case of vehicles with small quantities, which brings me to a 996 Turbo, Turbo S or GT2. There is between 50 and 70 TEUR, that would be worth it to me, whereby I would rather orient myself at the lower end. The small quantities of the Turbo S or GT2 seem to me to be a good argument for the maintenance of values, but are both also suitable for everyday use? on the one hand, with regard to the majority of short-haul journeys, on the other hand, also with regard to the maintenance costs such as inspection, spare parts etc. Who can give me an opinion or an assessment best from personal experience? Does someone use a Turbo S or GT2 as a everyday vehicle? Can someone like this recommend a car to me in good conscience or is the advice rather fingers off, prefer a normal turbo? Guzzi 850GT Ignition distributor installation
I have problems with a nch a year again in operation Motoguzzi 850 -V7-GT. it was switched off from running operation! Now the right cylinder did not run…. and it did a barrel on… last state: from ignition candle over carburettor and control times everything renewed, ultrasonic cleaner and control times adjusted. ignition coil changed…… it always jumped and jumps immediately… but after some warming with relatively passable run, it starts to pop… and a cylinder runs t not with…. abe rs very unpredictable…. sometimes both, sometimes the right, sometimes the left alone… and then this bad bang… suspected of problems with the distributor… because the control times were obviously wrong camshafts Ot about 40° after piston OT ??? can’t be? the original Guzzi workshop book is full of errors???? distributor should run against the clock pointer, but turns clockwise? now the question is whether the distributor is properly installed. the workshop book the cams for the U-contact are different long?? how is the installation position for OT-left cylinder direction of travel, to which everything refers? it is a 1-contact distributor. LC4 620 ́ Pleul bearing damage.New engine or new parts?
Hey hey. I have a pleul bearing damage on my 620 ́er LC4 (1996) or this one brass ring sitting on the left and right side of the camp, one of them has disassembled. The cylinder looks still good and has only a little run in and has no scratches etc. (with about 9500 km) but the piston is totally on the a…. the very nice Riefen got off and from the bottom it looks like it was worked with a grain and hammer strokes. The oil ran through the simmering into the ignition and to the vent The brass chips are distributed everywhere, from transmission to control chain… Now the question is: “New” (used) engine if I get one or new parts. This is gasket set for engine, new piston, Simmerring and a new bearing. Of course I have to try to wash the chips out well everywhere. Or: I would get an Lc4 660 ́ engine with year 2004 for about 800€, only then is the question if it fits also in the 620s with year 1996 from me??? Would I be happy If someone could help me.

Average consumption of the XC- 60
Hello dear XC trailer Currently the average consumption of my XC is 7.5 liters. To this should be said: I do not step the moose and do not drive like an 80 year old. The distance consists of 70% highway and 30% highway. It is switched at 1500-2000 revolutions. I like to drive a hand shift and pass also gears. Tank content reached so far without driving it empty up to 900 km. For a 2 to car very good speed highway not over 120 h/km rather lt. Tempom at 110 and remember to start driving early enough without stress with the current glide and not run at the tank coffee to go and the engine !!!
