  • Driving style and consumption at WoMo

    Hi, I have opened a thread over an L300 with alcoves here. As can be read there I bought the part. I have now also my first exit behind me. 3 days Lake Constance and back. Everything was wonderful. The consumption is now after 500km covered at 10.5 l. I have always tried to drive in as high aisles as possible. However, as soon as it vibrates I switched back into the smaller aisle. The L300 has 5 gears. I noticed that the L300 sees r is much worse to speed up than a normal car, it is understandable. If it makes sense to go up early into the next higher gear, or if you prefer to drive a little longer in a smaller gear. So I would like to have answered the question under the aspect of consumption, other aspects should first be considered secondary. I switched about this way: 1. gear up to 15km/h 2. gear up 15 to 35km/h 3. gear up 35 to 45km/h 4. gear up 45 to 75km/h 5. gear up 75 to 100km/h (fast If you have to push through the accelerator a little more in the higher gear to keep the same speed than in the next smaller gear, it can be that you still consume less fuel, because you drive in the higher gear at a low speed (at the same speed). My idea is that the fuel consumption depends on it as far as you can see. If this is the case, then it can make sense to switch to the next straight gear under the aspect of fuel consumption, even if you have to push the accelerator a little harder. Of course, it doesn’t necessarily make sense, but only if the effect of the stronger push through of the accelerator pedal is the effect of the lower pedal. Don’t compensate for the speed.   • Audi 2,3L NG fuel pumps, pressure storage, check valve Question

    Hello, and today I borrowed and connected the clock and the remote control according to instructions. The system pressure was not really right, because I had a short time over 6 bar, but as soon as I opened the button the pressure fell abruptly. To exclude everything I connected the fuel supply after description and noticed that the pressure is not even held for 5 seconds. Maybe this explains my bad cold – and warm start?! If my question is: I think that the check valve is definitely defective, because all lines are tight. Is the check valve in the pressure storage tank or in the petrol pump?   • Accident with patrol car

    Yesterday a patrol car drove me into the truck. A situation in which every other driver probably should have had to go to the alkotest. Drive with my truck in the middle of the city properly with 30 through a 30’s zone. From a side street a patrol car drives out and drives me sideways into the rear. No duty drive with blue light, even normal on the road. Did not notice anything at first, then only quite quickly wonder why behind me the cops without bumper and with Bla The driver then admitted that he simply missed my truck. In my opinion you have to be very blind when you overlook a truck with 30 and then it still manages to drive in the back. But was everything without consequences, except that I stood around for 2 hours because the “normal” police were not allowed to take an accident with Kolegen and for that an extra accident commando had to come from the other end of the city

  • Problem with automatic air conditioning

    In October 2003 I was able to receive my new A3 (2.0 FSI). My great enthusiasm for the vehicle, however, was relativized, since the automatic air conditioning has an unpleasant or unpleasant speciality. At outside temperatures in the range of below 12°C, about 5 minutes after the start of the journey, very warm (approx. 35°C) air is brought into the interior during a good 30 minutes, resulting in an unpleasant overheating. I have set the lowest possible temperature (16°C), the car is located at home and at work in a garage. After a longer driving time and even at warmer outside temperatures, the automatic air conditioning is correct. Since I use my car mainly for the journey to work and back (about 20 – 40 minutes driving time), this phenomenon is very unpleasant. That I use my car several times at outside temperatures around the surface ierpunkt had to open the window in order to achieve an acceptable indoor climate, seems rather grotesque for a car in this price range. The car has been in the workshop five times since last October. Unfortunately, changes in the settings as well as the replacement of the control unit did not improve the situation. Is this a single problem or have other similar experiences? I am grateful for your feedback!

  • CD-TEXT at AUDI Radios

    Hoi, I wanted to ask if it is possible with any of the Audi radios to use the function CD-TEXT. Unfortunately I don’t know if the factory changer supports this at all, if no, then it already fails. In the meantime every 0815-supermarket radio has CD-TEXT and I miss this function very much in the car, I just can’t remember which CDs are in the changer, let alone the title sequence on each CD… If it’s not possible with the radios, little can be done ins the Navi Plus something in style (from me also disc name preset, that should also function without CD-TEXT capable changers)…. da_baitsnatcha

It was definitely very violent, on the helmet there was an ordinal hole in the paint. There was no one in front of me, there were only two motorcycles coming up. A bird flew in front of me and hit the brake caliper/brake disc. Behind me I saw only a feather cloud. 10min later the remains had arrived to the boil and it smelled like sow. My father had flattened a bird with the front tire with my motorcycle. In the net I had found an onboard video where a young deer ran in front of the motorcycle. The motorcycle driver caught him and stormed Te. So I don’t want to see this with the young deer.
