  • Pioneer AVIC-F900BT – Solutions for the start-up time problem

Hello Together, I recently had the AVIC-F900BT installed in my Golf+. I, too, put the exorbitant charging times into my neck. Since then, I have been thinking feverishly about how to save this scenario, as the device itself is quite usable. I am following the following approach: coupling with central locking. If (by radio key) the thing is unlocked, it should go up. When closing it down. Is in my eyes the best solution, because the device then has enough time to drive up (the remaining meters to the car, then take off the jacket and put in the back, get in, fasten the phone in the holder,…). The danger of battery discharge is m.E. also not really high. In addition, I let myself put a switch in the dashboard. Keep up with the information on how the thing went out and what the workshop required for it: / By the way: Have the update 1.002 installed. But don’t look at any point, it’s a good effect.

  • RNS 315 US Version // Passat B7

Hello, I got a RNS 315 free of charge by a friend. So I didn’t spend anything. Problem is: It’s from an American car and accordingly a US Navi. I installed it in my Passat B7 earlier and see, radio works, AUX too. Bluetooth somehow doesn’t work, you probably still have to encode that (Has a MAC address with numbers, don’t just say 0en, should go). Navi also starts, but shows nothing, because it’s just American cards. My questions: Does someone have experience with it? On the Internet there’s only a handful of information and of course it’s said, you prefer to buy the EU version. I didn’t pay for it, so I’m also ready to experiment a little bit. My problems are up to date: Language is only English, French and Spanish. Can you put it in German somehow? Did you want to get me the latest maps, i.e. the V9 SD card, does this then possibly automatically set up in German?

  • opening the Volvo F611 spring brake cylinder?

Hello, How do you open or rather disassemble a spring brake cylinder on a Volvo F611 without the spring flying around your ears? Has anyone ever done this of you and can maybe give me some tips on it. I would be very grateful to you. Greetings

  • XC70 (P2/2007) “Four-C maintenance required” – DTC error DEM0006 pump – wrong signal

Hello together, on an XC70 from 2007 with approx. 160,000km the error message “Four-C maintenance required” is present. I started from a suspension problem of the Four-C system. However, when reading the error memory of the DEM module I received the error message: “DEM0006 – conveying pump false signal” A check of the live data showed that the DEM can be easily controlled, but the pump pressure in the Haldex coupling remains at 0 bar. I therefore assume from a problem of the Haldex pump. Does anyone have relevant information about this error message? Greetings!

  • BC message “Slow up or slow up”

Hi, today shortly before arriving at home in the on-board computer the message “Slow driving or up-turning” in connection with the motor electronics lamp (blinking). The engine power was drastically reduced – the moose sounds like a tank. Or as is often said here so nicely: He had this sonorous 5-cylinder sound – at actually eight not sooo great. He runs too low, takes only very slowly gas, goes after a few seconds in idle run also. Since also after reset (turn off, wait, restart) nothing is changed, I am careful the last 2 km home and the Volvo-Assistance has organized the tow truck in my workshop friendly and very quickly. I hope that it is nothing worse – tomorrow I actually wanted to bring my family incl. caravans to Bensersiel. Nice greeting Jürgen the one engaged: He organizes a V70 with AHK so that OHL and kids don’t have to cancel their holidays if the Dickich doesn’t flow again tomorrow.

  • PDC now completely out of combat

Hello. I’ve had the problem since a few days that my PDC makes us theatre. Have had the error read out and time 4f4a on. Before that was already so that a sensor I changed was broken. Since the change the part beeped all the time. Only now, however, nothing more point can that be that the ECU is defective?

  • XC 90/ D5 with 205 hp

Hello, as I am thinking of leasing the XC90 D5 Executive as the next business vehicle, I asked the local Volvo dealer last WE regarding the use of the current D5 diesel engine with 205 hp in the XC 90. His answer was that the new D5 engine “probably from March/April 2010” will be used in the XC 90. Does one of you have similar or definitive information about this? Thank you, atelier15

  • General questions on the leasing of e-car

I might like to lease an e-car and have a few questions as an inexperienced person in terms of leasing and e-car: 1. You can get a lot of offers via the well-known comparison sports. To pick up the car you may have to drive several hundred km. Do I have anything to do with the dealer who releases the vehicle in the until the return? Which workshop is responsible for maintenance or for problems with the vehicle? The local brand workshop? 2. In order to save the way for a pick-up at the far away dealer, it makes sense to confront the local dealer with the offer from the comparison portal? 3. In the leasing offers you often have to pre-stretch the environmental premium as a down payment. Should you not currently run the risk that the conveyor pot is empty and you don’t get any funding? Only in 2024 is supported and many of those who left empty in 2023 should submit the application at the beginning of 2024. 4. Is currently already foreseeable whether the leasing rates will be cheaper due to reduced funding? Thanks already for all the answers!

  • Purchase after lease termination

Hello, I would have read my lease again due to a damage case, and at the same time the following point has come to mind which I had probably overlooked at that time, although I had read the whole paper mountain twice before signature: “A purchase of the vehicle from the LG by the LN is excluded”. The contract was concluded with a large dealer, and I was then (orally) assured that a purchase would be possible after the lease end. One would then make an offer and possibly agree. And one would do so on a regular basis. I had also left it to myself. But it was not yet so important to me, because it was not yet clear that both my prefered drive concept and the vehicle class will die out so quickly. But that is both a bit in contradiction. Or does it simply mean that the dealer will take over the car from the LG and that he will sell it to me as a third party? So that dealers and LG contract both are right? No residual value has been fixed already against me (Kilometerleasing) and the car will be sold so or so between anyone, then I will not be charged a value reduction?

  • Experience with leasing return at BMW

Hi, since I had not been able to read all the different stories on the topic of leasing+return, I wanted to tell you about my experiences recently of the return of my F 22 to the BMW service. I had leased the vehicle directly three years ago at the BMW branch office in Munich and except normal wear and tear was mMn nothing on the car. I had two lighter stone strokes in front but otherwise the car was so fine – also the rims were in the original condition as I had also received the car. I actually rarely sucked out the car and washed it and then simply used it as a normal utility object without ensuring that the car really always stands top there because it is a leasing vehicle and therefore I just didn’t have the feeling that it is really my own vehicle. I once sent the car through the washing system and then sucked it out inside. Otherwise I did nothing. I read again of car preparation before returning – that is just a complete weakness for me because the car has been processed anyway by the car dealer and I haven’t spent several hundred euros on it, without knowing whether the return of the thing that happened at the office.
