Hello I noticed this winter that the radio in my Golf VI (Zenec device) only starts the second time when the car was standing outside overnight and it was cold. Unfortunately, the device has no on or off switch but only goes on or off with the ignition. Therefore, I thought about buying a button like the one for the parking sensors and making a switch from it, with which I can turn the device on or off. As far as the plan. I have this I would buy a quadlock extension. I will then pick up the 12V and switch a relay in between, so that the 12V will only arrive at the radio if the relay is activated. The second position of the relay (speak when the radio is off) is supposed to make the LED light in the button. The problem is: I only have one button available and no switch. The relay only leaves power to the radio if the switch is ON. I say I would have to hold down the button permanently. Now I am looking for a solution through which I switch the relay ON and ON alternately when the button is pressed. Currently available: – JVC KD-R741BTE (2 x 2 channels, pre-amp- Out) – 2x Volvo 130mm Koax speaker in front doors – 2x Volvo 50mm tweeter in the D-pillars in the trunk – both pairs of speakers hang directly on the radio – Pioneer WX210a Active subwoofer under the driver’s seat (via pre-amp-out also directly on the radio) – Deep breath, who’s put the toenails up, most of it is not on my account Current master plan: – “Without insulation you don’t need to buy new speakers”: 1m2 2mm aluminum butyl per front door – sound comes from the front, how one always reads so nicely, therefore my idea: 130mm compo speakers (e.g. HERTZ DSK130.3), of which bass midrange speakers in the front doors, tweeters in the dashboard above – with probably some 2-channel power amplifier in front of the crossover? – Rearfill: pack the current 130mm coax speakers in the back doors, hang in the “back outputs” of the radio itself again crossovers, the lower frequencies to the new old rear door speakers and the higher frequencies Send to the tweeters in the trunk D columns – problem: old 130mm speakers have 4 ohms resistance, D-pillar tweeters 8 ohms -> Murks?
