Hello dear Land-Rover driver, I usually read more about the Opel forum as I drive a small car as a student. However, there are still real cars in the family, including a Land Rover Discovery III TDV6 HSE. The good piece is built 08 / 2006 and was bought as a new car at that time and now has approx. 230,000 km on the speedometer. For about 2 years it says: The next major defect is replaced, preferably by an RRS. But: the car simply wants to be replaced by a RRS. How are the experiences with such high running performance in this engine, what repairs do we have to expect in the near future and can anyone appreciate the maximum life of such a car? I am grateful for every answer! Best regards, Nimored

Experience with LR breakdown service
Yesterday evening the air suspension in our Discovery5 was obviously broken. There was a loud bang after 2 minutes drive and quickly escaping air was heard. After that the car did not pump up anymore, but stopped at the very bottom. Since then there is an error message “Fahrwerk broken”. Unfortunately the breakdown service had no experiences and far and wide is no workshop in sight (Sylt). So tomorrow the car is towed directly to the home. Difficult part is the rental dare, since it is not so easy to get a replacement for the disco from the size (4 people plus dog plus lots of luggage). If we are lucky this works tomorrow morning. What experiences have you made? Mine as +/-: + very fast reaction + fast breakdown service + direct solution for repair at home + callbacks by service hotline and the efforts of the staff there to help – availability replacement car (problem of car rental) – no repair possibility on site All in all, a fairly fast care and help on weekends/holidays.

New Ypsilon bought. First time Lancia
So my mother has now bought a new Ypsilon. 78 Ps with climate, two-colour paint, RRP 16.000 Euro, as TZ he cost 10.600 Euro. Since we still get the environmental premium, I think it was a good business. In our family is the first Lancia. In the choice was the Sandero of Dacia (interior not really beautiful) , the Suzuki Swift (retailer O-Ton: discount is not available with financing) and Mazda 2 (EU vehicle at German list price , laugh) . Think the technology is at Lancia ok, the interior is very nice and high quality made, and you sit in it amazingly well. And you don’t see the car at every corner. Think the dealer has been the right one. (Autowelt-König).Have made me smart about Lancia now. Too bad that not really many people know and buy the brand here in Germany. If you look at the interiors and the design these are really fine cars.

Problems with EQE on 22kW loader
I hope for a good hint: If I want to charge our EQE on a 22kW loader, it breaks off after about 1 sec.. I tried this on two different columns and two different cards. 11 kW loaders from the same supplier run impeccable. It is the 22 kW internal charging system installed as a special equipment and we use the Flexible Charging System Pro. Thanks for relevant information!

Help urgently! Wrong fuelled
Hello parish!! This is what happened to me today! I have a 1.6CRDi with 90hp. The tank was empty, so to speak, there were 53km on the clock. I started to refuel, and noticed already after 2.68 liters that I filled up petrol 91Oktank. I stopped and notified the gas station, which then said that I should fill up with diesel and that nothing was going on. The ADAC I called did not mean any case and I had to be towed. a friend called, who has a Peugeot car dealership, since only the father was there, to whom the car dealership also belongs but is in retirement, I talked to him and also he meant that this was with the crowd and if I refueled full wouldn’t be more tragic. So now the following thing: 2.68 liters of binezin in the tank and 50.69 liters of diesel + residual quantity of about 2 liters I think. I have now Googled and read that it may not be petrol in the tank in case of a CRDI… ch at the crowd? I drove about 7km home… Greetings And thanks for quick answers… Thanks Patrick

I30 or Getz Diesel????
Hello I have driven a Getz and an I30 sample, I like both quite well, now my question which car is to recommend? The Getz has a steering chain if I am not crazy, that is already good and is in the insurance quite cheap. The I30 is better also has a little more horsepower (116hp) and what a little wonder is that the less should need than the Getz. Can one tell me if the I30 also has a steering chain? Does one of you have an I30 or Getz This l and can tell me how satisfied you are with the car? Greeting Kalle

What is so special about the 2JZ-GTE
Hello forum, I’m interested in what’s so special about the engine. Why can you get such good driving performance from the engine? What’s the engine different/better than the others? Where can you buy the engine used? Where can I get all the technical data from the engine? Questions about questions, but I hope there are some specialists who know how to get there. Mfg

Lexus lasted in AB of today
For all who are interested ,in the AB a GS450h over 33Tkm was tested. Result very good ,but the usual comments. The German diesels are better ,the BMW springs softer etc. In the end but nevertheless hybrid is the future. MfG

Increase gloss. How best to proceed?
Good morning, now I finally managed to refresh the paint with my small Power Packet 650Watt eccentric polishing machine. Basically, the result, for me as a layman, is also quite ok. My approach was quite simple: I carried out a polishing procedure with the Sonax Polish+Wax3 and then sealed with the BrillantWax1. As a polishing sponge I took the medium-strong (orange) from the globe construction market for Rotational machines are suitable but this does not result in a large heat development. I applied the wax with a soft/soft black polishing sponge. But from the degree of gloss I would wish for a bit more. I am therefore at the superior if, for example, Sonax Profiline EX 04-06 can get out more shine and then maybe a passage with the Sonax Profiline HP 01-06 or Profiline Final? I would like to stay with Sonax because the polishes are not I’m grateful for every opinion/idea Gruss Dr.Jargus
