Slow Model Dying
Hello now the Space Star and the Pajero Pinin have also been removed from the model range I wonder how it should go on with Mitsu. Is there in the foreseeable period of time a follow-up for the Space Star which was very popular here in Germany? mfg

Space Star fog lamps as daytime running light
Hello, would like to switch my standard fog lights in such a way that they shine alone, so not only in connection with the dipped-beam, that is since the latest allowed in Austria as daytime running light. Who knows how I can do this?

It must be small and light!
Hello! With a little melancholy I remember the times when my father moved a Golf II GTI G60. The car was manageable with 4 meters length, with 160 hp not badly motorized and with under 1,000kg curb weight nice light. Since the vehicles have grown nowadays more and more, the compact class is meanwhile with its 4.20 meters and 4.30 meters vehicle length and the corresponding weight thanks to many comfort features both weight and price on Although this additional weight is compensated by higher engine power, nevertheless the vehicles are not as agile as the lightweights, and in times of increasingly expensive fuel prices (without the anti-trust office taking action) one also wonders whether one does not carry the extra power, which one can only rarely use anyway, usually as “unnecessary, financial load”. On the other hand, I do not want to miss the safety that is offered today , especially with regard to the crash structure of modern vehicles, plus the passive safety due to sufficient number of airbags. But these days the small cars can also show an enormous progress. Long speech, short meaning: The new car, which is in my family over the next 2 years, should become a small flicker, which offers enough space to be on the road once in a while (not long distance!), over an acceptable trunk for the weekend purchase The car should not fail if you take it sportyly at the weekend. Otherwise, the car is mainly moved in the small town. The basic data thus look as follows: – weight up to 1,200 kg – engine power 150 hp upwards, final power 200 hp desirable – 4-6 airbags – air conditioning – best a (high-turning) suction engine, so that you do not carry a turbo surcharge, is a about not necessarily a prerequisite Now I would like to list a few candidates who come into the closer consideration, and ask you to take a position specifically on the vehicle, which fits best by its brand affiliation in this subforum. You can also draw comparisons with the other listed candidates, but please far away from Fanboy level, discuss with facts, thank you. Unfortunately there is no cross-brand subforum here, or I missed something ?1. Ford Fiesta ST: After what I have learned so far, my little favorite. The chassis is supposed to allow pure driving pleasure, and in “Best Motoring” the professional drivers compared him to earlier Civics, which nobles him in my eyes to a real athlete. However, the engine probably lacks some joy in turning. I think however, that one could counteract this with a lighter flywheel. – Interesting is the fact that probably Cosworth bring out a kit mö Is there any more precise information about how to refer to this kit in Germany? – Are there competent German tuners, apart from the “pharmacy” Wolf? – And how borderline is the gearbox actually at its load limit? Could one have this amplified relatively cost-effectively? – I also heard from a compressor what muckles, what does it look like? – And is there a differential lock for the Fies ta ST? In white with blue stripes, I like the ST very well, and with the Cosworth kit including speed limit increase the vehicle would be the ideal idea if the gearbox was involved. Unfortunately, I was not able to drive a Fiesta ST sample yet. Does someone in the Mainz room have a recommendation?2. Mitsubishi Colt CZT: I was already allowed to drive this vehicle sample. I was very pleased with the joy of rotation and elasticity of the engine and the successful brakes and seats. was complete and the movable rear bench is a great feature. I didn’t find the fuel consumption that would be good for the turbo surcharge when driving quickly, but it was still within a reasonable frame. – The imo too soft chassis can be helped, right? – What does it look like here with a differential lock, because I sometimes felt quite clearly driving influences in the steering. – What does it look like with the CZT with durable tuning towards 200 hp? – Could you use “Tuning-So” ftware” in hindsight bypassing the non-deactivable ESP? Overall a nice vehicle with a great machine to drive, but the Mitsubishi dealer network is very fluctuating in terms of customer orientation in my area.3. New Opel Corsa OPC: Here we are talking about a vehicle that is not yet available on the market. However, in terms of engine, you can orient yourself to the Meriva OPC, I think. Maybe we can already tickle out some insider knowledge here. The 200 hp d At any rate, there’s no problem with this machine. – Can anyone offer experiences on the 1.6-litre turbo? What about the joy of turning and fuel consumption? Turbo hole is noticeable? – Since the new Corsa is probably based on a joint development with the Grande Punto and the Corsa will probably also tend towards a length of 4 meters, what about the weight? Will one be significantly over 1.2 tons with the OPC version? The rest would probably be too much speculation. But ic h I am looking forward to the new Corsa, which is then to make the current model forget about design technology and for us powerful freaks could offer enough fun potential at manageable costs.4. New Renault Clio C Sport or RS: This vehicle is not yet on the market. The trade press starts from a release in early summer, my inquiry to Renault directly brought – oh wonder – no satisfactory answer. Maybe this forum can provide more information. Since w We have already been able to gain some negative experience in the family, which are closely interwoven with Renault in the administration and in the sales/aftersales sector in this country. Would the first thing deter us? The second thing we are worried about: – How is the quality of the new Renault Clio ordered? You hear a lot of negative things from the French, but we have not yet had any experience with French vehicles and hope that these cars will be used in the future. Is it true that the old or still current Clio Sport or RS have not achieved their performance more often? Or is this a fairy tale? – What about the joy of turning the current machine? At what speed does the engine run into the limiter? – How stable is the brake of the Clios? – How difficult will the new sport or RS become? I have no Ahnu The new Clio seems to be a real racer in the sporty version, and the predecessor has already got good reviews in the sports car. If only the (unauthorized?) quality concerns were not there..5. New Toyota Yaris: I like the new Yaris quite well. I saw pictures in which he was made with parts of TRD, and that saw scho Now there was the old Yaris as TS, so I assume that a TS version will follow for the new one. – When does the new one come as TS and is there any information about the engine in the European TS version? At the predecessor you could order a compressor from TTE, and in Switzerland and Japan it was also sold as a turbo. A tuned Vitz Turbo was highly praised in Best Motoring and showed surprising sporting virtues, so that imo in the Ya Since I do not expect that the TS will have more than 150 hp, and I am a speed fetishist, as mentioned at the beginning, thoughts arise in me now, which, on the one hand, trigger the greatest joy of the technical data, on the other hand, cause doubt about the technical and financial feasibility. The following idea: How about transplanting the 1.8-litre with 192 hp from the Celica into the Yaris? – Is this possible in terms of dimensions? – Would the compressor au – What exhaust gas standard does this engine (with and without compressor) meet? – How helpful is TTE in such a project? Is there something planned for TTE itself, which makes a small racing ensemble as a Cooper S Works competitor out of the Yaris? Toyota currently only offers “bread and butter cars”, the sporty models have all disappeared from the range. Such a “Wish-Yaris with Ho However, it would be unique in the small car segment, but I am pretty sure that such a thing will not be approved by the management and will certainly not be published in Germany.6. Peugeot 206 RC: Unfortunately, I had not yet been given a test drive with this interesting vehicle. As with the Renault, the question of reliability arises here. – Are there any major problems with the reliability of the 206 RC? Since the vehicle is otherwise known and soon the car (schw erere) Successor is standing at the door, which probably no longer has a great suction engine in the top model, there are no more many questions. – Which tuners are there that help the RC to 200 hp? – Can a differential lock be retrofitted? – What pollutant class does the RC meet? – Are there any vulnerabilities that should be considered after a motor tuning? Gearbox, clutch, engine parts, brake? A car that I like very much and about the right sportge is available as well as the tests in the sport car prove. So, eliminates my concerns in terms of reliability. ———————– All other candidates in this area such as Polo GTI or Ibiza Cupra leave, as these would only be interesting for me with the 1.4-litre TSI engine. I used to drive the 1.8-T engine in another model from the VW Group and do not want to drive the same engine again. In addition, we are with the quality of the vehicles from the VW-Kon The Mini Cooper S is quite close to the ideal, but swallows far too much fuel, has too little trunk and is an overpriced yuppie-carry. Thank you for your opinions and tips! And a high on the little “crash cans”!

EVO VIII Maintenance costs etc
Hello everybody, I love to buy me an EVO VIII as an annual car or something. Now I would like to know who has had experiences with this car. Just write what you know. How high are the maintenance costs? Insurance will be expensive too, but the tax would have to be kept within the frame thanks to only 2000 cc cylinder capacity and Euro 4? How are the inspection intervals? So thank you in advance!

Plausible reason to glue plaque
Hello mini-community… I’m really hard. More and more cities demand the green pimple. Everything nice and good…but why do you have to stick it into the vehicle? Why don’t you put a simple one in it (number is on it anyway!!!) For my taste it is already bordered by damage to property. TÜV and ASU-Bäpper only disfigure the license plate that has been attached to the vehicle…but the green Bäpper UNCOMMENDLY. I avoid the regions as far as possible, but when it doesn’t work anymore ..have you got any tips or suggestions? LG Ab

Car crisis… yeah, where?
Greetings. Since we are currently looking for a used mini for my betrothed, I have observed the mini-market i.d. lately a little more intensively, obtained offers, and various car dealerships…and…and…and. My conclusion: Due to car crisis!!! The sellers are still sitting on such a “high horse” that the heath is shaking. Why? I tell you in the following story of our search: Case study BMW-Mini Munich/Used car department 3. Floor: about 30 vehicles stand p arat information about a touchscreen screen at the entrance, is enough or ? seller ? Missing ! These escape as soon as they see a customer! – according to the motto: customer threatens with order- approx. 10 like-minded used car interested run aimlessly within the premises and look desperately for a seller. Our walk to the reception in the ground floor: Hello Fröhle can give me information about used mini? After about 10 in-house calls a “You want any information?” No, not any, I would like to know more about the various engines (Joint Venture Chrysler, PSA etc.) and their installation times. “Can I not tell you from the grip, I will ask a mini colleague who knows each other tomorrow. Oh yes and …if I’m quite honest I’m going on vacation next week and I don’t want to start a new case, I’ll call you my co-worker. We wait in the foyer and see 5 sellers laughing and mobile data exchange- sit at the coffee counter, great appearance BMW !! You really have your people in control!” Do you learn this on your Hab you love seminars? Another colleague comes, I tell him that he was called because his colleague does not want to accept a new order before the holiday. He then:” Like vacation, he got permanent forced leave. Although he tried a sprec But finding the vehicle had no plan of the same technique and unfortunately could not go to the open area because he was so cold last week and doesn’t want to experience it again “hust hust, hustl, hust” …a poor guy, or ? I am laughing!! You guys really missed the job – already thought about changing the industry? I as the boss would immediately reward you sales oriented, then the case would be solved immediately. So, that was good…Now I feel better, Da Don’t “listen” to it.
