Hello from Berlin! I am currently driving a nearly 17-year-old V40, from which I unfortunately have to separate. Now I have this car in mind:V50 The dealer is still repairing the damage to the front bumper or I pay less and let it do it here. It’s a US import, is there something to consider? He doesn’t have a checkbook, only some invoices from free workshops from the previous owner. TÜV/ASU gets it new from the dealer. According to the dealer, the vehicle should be tiptop. What do you think? I would be very grateful to you for your opinions, because it is not exactly “around the corner” from me to Mannheim. I know that nobody can give a remote diagnosis here, but unfortunately I have no experiences at V50. Thank you and greeting Ines

Again: engine system maintenance required
Hi, with our newest family member (C70 D5 MY08) something is wrong. Yesterday about 500km were driven and today about 25 km of city traffic. Then the warning light went on at once: “motor system maintenance required”. Power and engine run normal, external nothing to recognize. Last service was on 05.08, unfortunately in a free workshop (from the previous owner). Before the start of the journey, the oil level (with cold engine) was just below half. Previously with still warm engine (car was 40min), the oil level was Just about Max. Sounds like the well-known problem of oil dilution, doesn’t it? Can the ADAC read this out? In the engine compartment there’s a sticker where the correct oil level is on it, means that the car has got the update? Is it enough to drain the oil or better fresh oil? Greetings

Note Check lighting
Hello, my xenon headlights (GP0, BJ2006, 3.0 TDI) flickered every now and then. Once (a few months ago) it seemed to me that they had only been handled correctly after a few seconds. For weeks, however, I had no problems anymore. Today, the following message came during the ride:Checking the lighting. As soon as the dipped-beam is switched off, the message goes away. When I turn it on again, the message comes back. But I can’t detect any error. Everything lights up normally My first reflex is now to replace the Xenon burners before I really sit in the dark In the bay there is the following offer: http://www.ebay.de/…/251084487641?… Are these the right burners or should I rather switch to other Kelvin values or manufacturers: Which online shops can you recommend? Thanks Moseltaler

Hello, I come from Austria and in three weeks proud owner of a Phaeton gp4 with rns810 and premium hands-free function with SIM cards slot. I got a SIM card of three and entered the ap. The WLAN hotspot works perfectly, so come to the Internet. If I specify the data for the Navi on rns, he selects himself, but at the server stands then first “no connection” and after a few minutes “routing error”. Someone knows the problem and can help n? Gear immersing defective for 8 euros
I’ve been driving Phaeton for 8 years, the first I had was a V6 3.2 except for small things never had problems with the thick ship. For 4 years I’ve been driving a V10 TDI with KM at the time 197,000KM to date never had a problem although I drove 100,000 KM in 4 years. Until 3 weeks ago….. It started with smoke in the ventilation when I drove off the highway, but I didn’t think anything about it until 2 weeks ago unsightly oil tracks appeared in my garage. thanks engine oil, but on stage it quickly became clear it was gear oil which dripped out of the bore at the gearbox… So after the friendly around the corner which didn’t sound friendly then. Repcosts at different dealers between 1500 and 2100 euros only for the expansion of the engine plus then flange off the gearbox and the rep parts…. Costs up to 3000 euros, actually with the price loss of the V10 TDI his death sentence. What made me stinky, however, none of the F In the end, there were no long waiting times or the divisible scissor lifting table was not available… I made it short, I removed the engine with gearbox myself. ^^ duration inc change of the Simmering 5 days. I re-built the scissor lifting table inc the holding points of the engine and the gearbox with threaded rods of sizes 14 and 16. The repbooks offered by the Techverlag were helpful. But what really brought me to the white glow was that the culprit (the Simmerring behind the converter) at VW 8.00 in words costs eight EURO.. and for that the whole turned up. I would now be interested whether one of the one V10 TDI has the same problem or had it. Cann’t be that a part of 8.00 Euro carries a rep of up to 3000 Euro.

Separation, unplanned and inevitable
Hello community, now I am unintentionally divorced from my companion. Our relationship lasted quite exactly 7 years and meant relaxed, shared journeys. It could have gone on forever just after I had all the brakes and the front axle made in winter. An Axxx driver was not comfortable with this commonality. He rammed my favorite in a parking lot on the side of the driver just behind the bike, which shifted my fat guy a half meter further to the left. I thank you for many hours of enjoyable reading of various solutions and suggestions. Let’s see which forum I’m going to join. PS. Does anyone have a good idea for my favorite? The printless

Repair attempt – Vibration under load
Hello everybody, I’ve already read everything that has appeared here in the forum for the above mentioned topic. For me the following questions appear in the special case … My case: Two months ago acquired C70 MJ 2006 T5, 2.5, 220 hp, automatic with 152,000 km on the speedometer. Has covered the last four years only 4,000 km, otherwise stood in underground car parking. After the vehicle was warm, stronger vibrations can be felt from the front while accelerating, as well as noises at the steering lock. ag in both directions. Especially strongly uphill. After foot from the gas no vibrations. These symptoms have slowly become worse, now the car does not have to warm up at all and the vibrations also appear in lower speed ranges. Since a used car insurance is still in play, the time until repair has drawn endlessly, now I have an appointment next week for the exchange of both drive shafts in front in the local Volvo workshop. last week the two drive shafts were not available as spare parts at Volvo or in the accessories!! Is the C70 such an exotic now? The appointment for the exchange next week would therefore have almost burst and my nerves would have taken noticeably damage, since I now have no reliable vehicle for more than four weeks – while my reliable Golf IV with about 300,000 km continues with its new owner without complaint and cheerfully. This is why I found drive shafts in my own research here https://uleu.de and, as a private person, I compared and ordered the parts via chassis number by telephone. Right of return is granted. A friendly motor vehicle master a.D. strengthened me in the AW theory, since in his career he probably often encountered AW problems, especially with vehicles with long service life, if the Fzg. then plö I also trust the statements of the people in my workshop and feel well cared for there for years with the Mazda brand. But they also told me that they are 97% sure that it is the AWs, but there is also a residual risk that not. Now you read here also that it might be the engine bearings. Is there also for my C70 these “improved” engine bearings? Wouldn’t it be cheaper to exchange them if it were so or other The car for the AWs on both sides is at 1,800. The insurance takes over 1,000.- . As said … I am really a little at the end with my nerves. The car is great but the switch to Volvo is very, very stressful. Therefore it would be nice if someone still had an assessment on the subject. With thanks in advance, best regards Christian

850 Removable AHK E set not connected
Moin. I encountered a problem with my moose this morning. Attached trailer and what went on… GAR NIX. So I was looking for the error. That was quickly found: The connected cables were moved to the spare wheel pit, but there are now 2 plugs hanging there, i.e. no electricity no light. Then I made all the disguise all around with ambition and found the following. A small plug that is fixed at the driver’s side. When I pulled it off functioned It is also so long that I could put it to the plug from the AHK and turn it on. Colors and number of wires match. So far so good. But I lack the 2nd and larger plug. NOTHING in the entire trunk behind the covers. Otherwise I noticed only a large white plastic box, which I did not pay attention to. Light Control or something. with a huge plug on it. Did someone already have the same problem? I want the Stec I don’t want you to just do it, and then something’s gonna go wrong or something.

R1150R Brakes
servus, have some questions for the purpose of the braking system, I have 2 motorcycles, once a fireblade sc50 and once a boxer R1150R Bj 2002, now I wanted to change the brake fluid yesterday at both machines… at the honda everything worked smoothly, but at the bmw I screwed the lid on top of the brake lever, let the motor run (because of abs) and when I pressed the lever, it sprayed out the upper brake fluid. n to pump, that ran 10 sec well, then just take air, although there was still liquid in the tank above… and pumping is also nciht more inside… now the ABS lamp flashes with running motor, and braking system without function, first it slows down normally, with stronger actuating it falls out, and bremms no longer… can someone please help me further, or tell me what I did wrong… banks in advance…
