Buy Suzuki GS 500 E???
Hi, I’m about to decide to buy a GS 500 E Built 93 or not. Would you like to know if any “diseases” are known on this machine. Should I pay attention to something special during the visit? e.g. parts that “always” are broken In addition, I’d rather have a machine with a small panel. Is there a panel with a small disk for the GS 500 E??? And if so, what costs would I have? Thank you very much in advance Frank

Question of a motorcycle newcomer
Hello all of you!! I am now at the tender age of 31 to make the motorcycle license, the car driver’s business nevts quite… If I have the rag in my pocket it goes to buy a used motorcycle and I have already informed myself something. It should, since I do not want to exaggerate it as a beginner, become a needed Suzi GS 500, and also a question: This guy has open probably 46 HP, but mostly they are throttled on 34 HP. Since I am ü25 and I can drive immediately open would mic h Interested, whether it is a great effort to eliminate the throttle that the machine can unfold its 46 hp if I buy one with 34 hp. How is it?? Do you have tips??? Thank you for your answers MfG

“Rosselsatz” Hayabusa
Hi! my driver’s license is unfortunately only “open” next summer, but my current Honda CB500 is simply too lame… Was today at the Suzuki dealer and he made me a slick offer for a Hayabusa. Does anyone know here if there is a throttle set for this mopped? Where do I get it if and what does it cost? I don’t want to install it, it’s just about the “correction” of the papers. My former driving teacher said that it costs only 40 € plus 1 point if you have an open m opped drives and the appearance is still limited. Can someone confirm/dementate that? Are there “experiences” here with this problem? I am grateful for every suggestion! Joe.

Help needed when buying a new battery for my M695!!
Hello everyone! I’m new here and I’ve registered after I’ve come across this page several times while searching the net. I need your help buying a new battery for my M695. I’ve been looking for days and I’m not going to be smarter! :/ First of all to the vehicle: I drive a Ducati Monster 695 M4 built in 2006. This is my first motorcycle and I don’t have much experience in repair, spare parts, ecc. Anyway, my Batt After more than 6 years I gave up my mind and did not survive the winter. Now I am looking for a new one and am completely overwhelmed, or I don’t dare to buy a battery without hearing the opinion of others before I read in intensively on the topic “acid or gel?” and finally came across two replacement batteries, here the links to it: 1. http://www.amazon.de/…/B002EHI946?… 2.http://www.polo-motorrad.de/en/…e-gel-12b-4-10-0-ah-yellow atterie.html 3. http://battery24.de/…thium-ion-motor-battery-HJT9B-FP-12V?… I actually wanted to get a gel battery (here: Link 3), because if I understood it correctly, the weight is considerably lower and it also “lives” several charging cycles. The price difference is not really significant here either. However, the talk is often about maintenance-free gel battery, in which then after all an acid has to be filled. I am incredibly planless and in the questions the other user I could not really find the answer for which I am looking for :/ Could you tell me what you think of the two links, especially the second one? can I buy the battery comforted or is there something else to consider or did I get something wrong? do you know otherwise a better battery? I upload a photo of my old battery for safety. Many thanks to all already!!!

Ducati Mark Quiz
Greetings are all friends of the one-lane ride on a combustion engine, I am new in the forum and after 30 years of the moped abstinence happy owner of a Ducati M 1.000. The official mark of my bella macchina can be read under her portrait at the top left and it is a wish mark. Now to the sensational Ducati Quiz: 1) Who as first/r guesses what the letter “D” on the sign means, I buy an ice cream or a drink of her/his Choice in the winner’s favourite location in 50 km radius of Bonn. 2) If you are the first to guess what the ominous “992” means, the same as in 1). 3) If you guess as first/r 1) AND 2) before either of them was guessed by someone else, I buy a meal under the conditions mentioned in 1). I am looking forward to every answer, especially as many false and absurd as possible ;-). Furthermore, I am looking forward to encounters with strange, interesting and nd soon no longer unknown like-minded people somewhere on the Ar..h of Germany, in the Eifel, in the Siebengebirge, in the Westerwald, in the Bergische Land or wherever. All moped riders, who command over at least 125 ccm, are allowed to participate, even scooters and Japanese vehicles (I am trying for tolerance… :-). The infection with the biker virus alone counts and that is by the way really a friendly virus and not as nasty as this one:

What does an open clutch cover bring?
Hello. I bought a ducati Monster 1100 2 weeks ago and wanted to convert it now over the winter. On the internet I have seen dozens of different open clutch covers. But why? will the standard clutch be too hot during a slightly more aggressive ride? Besides, I have read that an open clutch lid the clacking so this ducati typical noise some have amplified. I hope here someone knows the purely optically I like the open en lid very good and I was happy to get one but just not who the engine could take harm

Ducati Ur-Monster Conversion in NRW
Hello dear motorcycle community, I’ve had my Monster 900 for over 24 years now, but have hardly driven in the last years. 3 years ago I had a lot of overtaking and thought that my Ducati workshop also looked at the front and rear suspension. But it wasn’t done, I was only told “it drives reasonably, we already had worse here”. It seems to me that the fork only springs when I was already able to over a floor shaft. the battery is always empty and even if it is new and fully charged, then you still have the feeling that the battery is too weak. Coupling could be made new. Otherwise actually in good condition, was always in the garage. Irgednwie would like to drive again, have already looked at some new machines at Ducati & Co but quite honestly, I find my M900 just awesome even after 24 years and timeless beautiful but it could drive better. There the idea has matured in me, rather to invest a few thousand euros in my long companion rather than to buy something new, soulless. However, I really don’t know who to turn to within NRW ́s with this project and a complete idea what to replace and what to rebuild I don’t have yet. Does someone know one or more Ducati dealers or customizers in NRW to which one can turn trustfully with I’m going to attach a current picture to you so that you can make a “picture” of the current state.

Bosch Stroboscope lamp broken !?
Hello people! Since I suspect the expert people here in the forum I throw a question into the round: Suppose I hire a working strobe lamp from Bosch with which also the closing angle can be set. Get it back with the remark : Does not work, is broken. And now it really does not go. After several inquiries I ask how the lamp was connected and the colleague answers:On the battery, first on minus and then on plus to avoid sp Somewhere he would have connected to the battery if the ignition was switched off. So, I learned in my lesson that (unsecured) consumers first connect to Plus and then to Minus and that a battery also has juice when the ignition is switched off. And I mean that he has fabricated a short circuit. Does not he mean. What do you think? Thank you for helpful answers!

Gear ratio 1. to 2. gear
Hello first of all, my wife and I have just given us a Honda CR-V of the last series Elegance with Advantage package as TZ from 11/2012, engine 2 liter i-dect, switch. The decision to buy the vehicles fell already last year, we implemented it only now, because the two cars were offered again cheaper and the total price after payment of two used ones was fair. Convinced us the room concept, the driving characteristics, the high seating position and the e Customer satisfaction. I hope we can say that even after a few years. I find the slightly shorter translated gears 1 and 2, is helpful in shunting and in trailer operation. However, I still have difficulty switching from the 1st to the 2nd gear, I get the transitions domes/switches/gas removal/gas giving sometimes not optimal, apparently you have to time very precisely. All other transitions are ok. I have already driven many cars (switches) and have such pro bleme not had. Usually, after a few kilometers everything is running. Is that specific for the CR-V switch because of the short first gear? Did you have the experience at the beginning too? Well, I will still have to practice… Greetings
