  • Callback G500 W463a fuel transport module. Kafka lives!!!

There is a callback campaign for the G (at least the 500) because of a possibly defective fuel transport module. You should not drive any more. I tried to get an appointment with the dealer today, there they told me that the tank can only be filled up to 20%. I still have 60% petrol in it. Answer: A repair is not possible. I should drive the empty. That is kafkaesk: How, please, should I get the tank empty, if Mercedes writes, one has to “immediately” in the workshop???? Should I now wait for the evaporation of the gasoline??? Did Mercedes write, but received no answer. How do you do that? Flaking off the gasoline? Suck out the hose? Put away in the Frankfurt station district? Greeting from the wsp

  • Radar disrupts Adaptive cruise control

Hello I have a problem with my adaptive cruise control, which actually works very well, but as soon as the temperatures rise the system fails with the message Radar disturbed see manual. The housing of the radar in the radiator grille I cleaned there is nothing on it that could disturb. The system then drops out incl. tempomat from temperatures of 23 degrees constantly, which is very annoying.Has anyone ever had such a problem? The friendly could not help me any further until now.

  • New presentation

Hello dear Phaeton community, we were looking for an Alfa Romeo with various defects on the lookout for a classic saloon. Large, comfortable, safe and of high quality. I-Drive or MMI we did not want, rather a classic cockpit with real wood and lots of leather! It became a 3.0 TDI Phaeton in dark blue with extended wooden package and wooden steering wheel. The car also fits my wife (1.56 meters, size 34/XS) and that is unfortunately not a matter of course. All-wheel, automatic, a proper weight and a great workmanship really convey a very safe and comfortable driving feeling. One gets relaxed to the destination and does not have to race constantly… the car decelerates, it is very relaxed and pleasant. Actually we have only 2 criticism points: 1. In the passat we find (subjectively) the operation of the Tempomat ergonomic. 2. That navigation could be a little more modern/faster. Otherwise a really great car and clearly better than our passat. With the materials the Phaeton is worth at least 2-3 classes better!

  • Delivery

So now I’m waiting for the delivery of my new FN 2 and still until september, that’s hell. I really don’t understand why it’s taking so long. I just drove my old car and it hits the limiter already at just over 6000 revolutions, there’s a lot missing. I have to bridge the time somehow now, and that’s going to be hard.

  • Switch to petrol?

Moin dear Volvo experts, I have been driving a V60 D4 GT with 181 hp since 2016. The diesel engine has not paid off yet, but since I’m retired, I’m driving even less, then it will probably be less than 10000 km per year with a higher short distance share. I’m also afraid that the diesel will eventually be replaced by the AGR/cooler again. However, since I like to drive the V60 and I can’t really make friends with the successor model, I’m thinking about a petrol engine V60 T2/T3/T4 from the years 2015 – 2018 of course also with automatic. Therefore, the question to the drivers of such vehicles, how are you satisfied with it? What should you pay attention to when buying these vehicles? I’m still looking forward to your answers and opinion and thank you!

  • Test trip on Monday FN2

So now it’s finally time, after some of the new R were already allowed to test it, I will also start my first ride on Monday. Top or flop?? I’m really tense, what awaits me. You can read some experiences out here already, however, it turns out differently with everyone. the one back and forth, the other totally disappointed. I will report! Timo

  • Fits this battery at V40 1.9D 2004

Hello, I’ve been dealing with car starter batteries for the last 2 days. My Volvo 103PS 1.9DI needs a new one, the current Mukt sometimes. For all those coming after me:http://geizhals.de/?… The logbook would like only 600A KaltStart (SAE) and 12V The original Volvo number: 30658162 can be translated(= very similar) in EAN: 574012068 (5-12V 74-74Ah 120-bauform+Pole 068=680A) The only manufacturer who claims to be compliant is Bosch/Varta with the S4 008 (€85+ on the net (+Shipping, +7,50 Pfand (which you never see again, unless you pay 10 Euro Porto to return..) ) ) ) ) In the trade 100€+ The banner P7209, which were rated by Warentest + ADAC as good++, has only poor reviews. That this does not last longer than 1 year. Now someone from you has the TP carfit battery in the V40, it’s expensive?

  • V40 – speaker change

Hello Volvo fans, I’m just a little bit perplexed. Background: In my V40 (BJ 2000) on the left both the speaker in the dashboard and the speaker in the door have said goodbye. I would like to exchange the two now. Sizes are clear (10 and 13) and how to get there. I already got the covers down and the speakers out. But now the following: 1. In the trade I find only speakers with the normal terminals, but in the V40 these are these “click” plugs. But I have little desire to cut off the plugs. Is there a possibility ala adapter? 2. The speakers in the dashboard are also “clicked”. As far as I can judge no normal 10s in there?! What do you do? Would be grateful for a few mental suggestions.

  • Illuminated range regulation strange behavior

Hello, I had already reported some time ago that the LWR failed. Now I had tried the following: – switchboard removed, opened, board measured, obviously all contacts OK – motor in the lamp pulled out (was worked out), opened, got through what went on, contact spray. – measuring device held to the plug left motor, values plausible (between 2 and 8 v) and at once, while measuring, then the right motor whirled! So: everything assembled, shock rod to the front, rod inserted, everything repeatedly and long tested: works great! 1 week later TÜV appointment, : everything again dead. -> again engines removed, on plugs wobbled, etc. but again failed. Now I am a bit at a loss: switchboard: OK, motors: OK (have now even a third one I had exchanged) Has anyone experienced any idea or similar? Is there still an additional control unit installed (in the extra housing and not in the switch shell? many thanks for all the suggestions of Volvo, Vj T40
