The new BMW S1000RR has been on the market for some time now. Now I ask: what do you think of BMW’s answer to Fireblade, Ninja and co? Of course, I only know them from professional journals (no one will push that into my hand at 17), but I still have to say that it is one of the few really good machines that the Bavarians have set up. For GS fans, it may not be anything, but the intriguing styling (which is clearly above the registered performance) Test bench values and the extreme driving performance should attract racers and superbike fans.

R1200RT Oil Warning over BC
Hello BMW-Biker, I have a warning (call sign) for oil on board computer for some time now. The display comes only when the engine is warm. The oil level is in the upper third. The engine temperature indicator in the valve is also in the green area. What does the onboard computer ask for? Oil level or oil temperature? Does the BC have an extra sensor or is it the same as for the analog display in the armature? I actually tap on a defective sensor. So the cooling circuit works. Oil level is, as I said, also correct. Who knows where to attack there.

Which engine oil in Chevy SB?
Hello dear US fans, I bought a CHEVY VAN G20, built in 11/89. Engine 5.0 l (Beziner). Now that the engine oil is to be changed after numerous body changes, I would like to know what you are using in these rough engines. Is there a recommendation? I think part- or full-syntetics is certainly not so great for the old engine … Maybe you have a good tip… Thank you very much.

Brake force not properly distributed!
Hello, can someone tell me how I can optimally distribute the braking force at my 1966 Chevy impala? My Chevy had tuv yesterday, without problems However, my mechanic told me that the rear brakes pack more strongly than the front ones. History: the Chevy had all around drum brakes. the rear ones were always perfect but the front ones always pulled alternately to the left and right… …so I got a disc brake kit. so the front drum brakes were so for disc brakes with brake booster. did also work wonderfully… but I noticed that when braking the rear ones immediately block and at the front little comes. that’s not good… in the engine room, under the brake booster, the brake lines go into a magnesium part, I believe that is a valve…. is there the possibility to increase the braking performance of the front disc brakes, or to distribute better?? I WHEN NIMMA CONTINUE… I would like to ask for Your help. thanx! Chevy guy

Camaro 1st Generation
So here’s a HALLO to all of you. Have been reading with you for some time and have been infected with the virus for a little longer, which probably caught us all here. Actually, there was no clear favorite with me so far (from Chargers and Challenger times, but they are unfortunately hardly affordable) but lately the Camaros of the (please just FIRST) generation are getting out more and more; and therefore also my first question. Did all ́67 ́69s (yes!?) the headlight flaps ,ode There were also models without? For today that was ersma. Thanks schomal!

Dinitrol ML: Required amount for cavity sealing?
Dear experts, my Datsun 280 ZX from California has to be flooded, because otherwise it does not survive the weather in D. My idea: Doing yourself with Dinitrol ML as a spray can and a cavity probe about 60 cm long, 4 mm diameter. How many cans (500 ml) do I need? At what places do I have to open or drill? Does anyone have a plan for Dinitrol or other manufacturers? Who has collected his own experience in this procedure and can tell me some tips? Alternatively: Who could sowa What costs do I have to reckon with? still what: Beginner’s question: When protecting the underfloor, leave out the silencer 1.) Exhaust paint on the same and after that 2.) Underfloor treatment (Owatrol oil, Brantho Korrux 3 in 1, Dinitrol ) or only 2.) and then apply the omitted 1.)? The exhaust paint can drop 600 degrees Celsius. Thanks for every tip! Pit

Which Diesel Daily?
Moin, I’m looking for a car next time, which I can drive the next 10-20 years as much as possible. I’m a car ́ler myself, so screwing is no problem. I’m currently driving a Mercedes 190E 2.3 from 1991 in everyday life. However, as I’m going to change soon and extend my work path a bit and I’m going to drive home on the weekend (about 180km), the 190 is too bad for me and he consumes too much of it. I completely renovated it, so it’s too bad for me. I’m looking for a combination with a diesel engine, H-mark and good rust protection. There are certainly enough cars, such as a Mercedes W/S204, but that’s actually too modern and, above all, far too expensive in the insurance, since I’m only 20. An Audi 80 B4 or Audi 100 C4 have already fallen into my eye as Avant with the 1.9 TDI. They are already so old that they get an H-mark and still very economical and comfortable. Since I still have a lot of fun and fun. I had a VW Golf 4 SDI once, which was actually top but I went the soundscape at 100km/h and 3000U/min. Animal on the pointer. I’m looking forward to your suggestions.

Automobile clubs offering discount when refueling
Hello together, I’m new here. I wanted to ask if there are automobile clubs that offer discounts when refueling. I’m currently at ADAC, but I’m looking for an alternative. Thank you in advance. Greetings
