HI… today I picked up my new Fox from the dealer’s shop and…(yes, it’s stupid) I’ve already made a damage to the car… I missed a low wall on the right side when driving into a narrow road and took it with me. The wall is fine…only my Foxi now has clear paint damage right in front of the rear wheel. The wheel cap also got some scratches off. Now I drove the car back to the dealer’s shop and asked about it. I have comprehensive insurance with “only” 300€ excess and the dealer told me at the time of purchase that I would not only have lower costs for the insurance through the “Young Driver Program” but also the security during the leasing period in case of a damage not to be able to be high graded. Now the car man from the workshop told me that I would nevertheless be highly graded and that the damage should not be regulated by the insurance. However, the costs would then be in the range of approx. 1,500€ since maybe also the rear axle could have moved. Now my question is: Has someone been here in a similar situation? With VW insured in connection with the “Young driver program” and then had a damage? Because now I have to weigh up what the bigger evil is… the double insurance contributions for fully comprehensive non liability ht or the purchase of the repair costs… I am glad about any relevant answer Mfg

Passlock spins
Hi, I imported a Colorado (2007) to Germany. Drive it since April of this year. From time to time he didn’t want to start and now it’s almost daily. Reason = Passlock! Didn’t notice that I don’t have any original GM keys and now my car means that I want to steal it more often. Actually, a great thing… the security lamp flashes and the spray drive is interrupted for 10 minutes… the car really doesn’t start. So just helps wait… I was in an Opel- Chevrolet workshop. They didn’t know the system at all and couldn’t get me an original key. Do anyone have an idea ???

technical question…climate cooler as oil cooler ?
Good morning I am at the moment preparing our Impala from the ground up.At the moment the frame and its attachments are in the process of radiating, since I have a bit of time to “tuft”. The car still has an air conditioning system which is dismantled. This has been subsequently transplanted from a similar vehicle and never been connected by the American. Ergo flies it out again. Now I have considered whether the climate cooler, which is after the normal cooling If it were an advantage for me, I wouldn’t have to install one of these universal coolers. Is this technically possible or is the cooler structure another ? Or is the cooler perhaps too large ? transmission is a TH 400. Thanks for the answers Greeting Sebastian

Experiences with Mike Sanders ???
Moin… I want to preserve the frame from the inside and parts of the body with Mike Sander’s cavities grease, but I don’t want to spend any sums for the required “special device”. Does anyone have experience with the “construction” of a cavity probe,so that I get into the frame optimally? Compressor etc. available. The appropriate cavity nozzle costs 22 €,that is still to be ache, but is it compatible with the commercial cheap spray guns ? or someone not at all for Mike Sanders? Thank you and greeting Sebastian

Buick Park Avenue
Hi, people I have a problem there and need your broad opinion. In February, exactly 7 months ago, I left my PA to the workshop, which repairs many American cars in the city, because the car simply ran out of me while driving. I commissioned the workshop to check what the car has, and if there is nothing serious then just to make the car float again. The factory stat resp.: the mechanic called me back to it and shared with that of the dare who ig Ignition sparks, he then listed: -Crankshaft Sensor -Crankshaft Sensor -Zündmodul -Zündverteiler -Zündkerzen -Neue Batterie Everything together incl. material 800,- EUR, and the dare Runs. It would be cheaper for me he meant, if I would organize the parts myself, which I also did. -Zündmodul, crankshaft Sensor, camshaft Sensor, I then organized everything myself. Now comes the hammer today I was there to see to the right, the mechanic was not there, d a tells me his Scheffin that the car has no compression on three cylinders and that probably the steering chain is torn, that confirms another mechanic that I have never seen before he added that it probably does not fix itself without the vehicle since it has so many kilometers (167355 TKM) So, the car still does not run, and I should still pay 915,- EURO that can be.???? Thank you for your answers in advance.

Car battery salad …
My battery is taking off so slowly – doesn’t last much longer… Now I thought to myself: No problem, let’s see what’s inside and what a part costs. So built in: Duralast Gold from the beginning of 2007 (actually no age) with 135 (!!!) Ah in a housing that actually only gives between 80 and 90. Does anyone know if the American amps are different than in Europe? Even the most expensive Varta don’t have 90 amps hours in size…

Ford Mondeo Combi (Sprit consumption too high)
Hi Leutz! We’ve been driving Mondeo Combi BJ 2000 for some time now. The part has 1.8 liters and 115 hp. Unfortunately we barely get under 9 liters of fuel consumption. The car is mainly moved on short distances. From me very economical (inside mainly 5 gears) accelerate up to max 3000 turns. But I can’t get the part lower. Last calculation resulted in 9.5 liters. The best where mainly I drove was just under 9 liters. If someone else from the family driving more by car, we are sometimes even at 11 liters. Well with them it has not been sooo tragic before. I really don’t know why that is, but somehow it seems a lot to me. What can you do? Nice greeting Stefan
