  • Michelin Pilot Power 3

Hello together! Has anyone had any experience with the new Michelin Pilot Power 3? I definitely did! I’d like to receive my email to Michelin. I’d like to see your experience, but I’d like to hear the feedback from Michelin. Here are the excerpts: …I liked to enjoy the trust of my Michelin Pilot Power rear tyre on my YZF R1 (RN19) for years. But in the course of time, traditions should also make room for new things. I can tell you in advance that after the frightening experience my brain carousel only calmed down at short notice! I will not forget this driving experience so quickly. She burned herself in some corner of my brain. In short, I don’t trust myself again with this tire even some funky curve. In the future (until this tire finally went down) I will probably move like a swabby railway with my finger in the butt. After countless slides in impossible, simple situations followed as I-point in the test then still a survived „Highsider”. My experience was confirmed by an unknown Kawasaki ZX-10 driver immediately on test drive. This had the same new MPP3 on it and a week before was confronted with the same loss of confidence which n. The subsequent requests in my motorcycle circles also confirmed my experience…

  • Flasher problem

Hello Together Have a problem with the turn signals, aren’t the originals have worked perfectly yet When blinking does not the orange indicator light light but the green “Neutral” light White someone tell you??

  • Too much oil from workshop

Hello I have to ask something. Today I brought my XT660R from the workshop from the 60000 km service (well this wanted to do from the specialized workshop) so I drove today max 100 km (more about the 80 km) over floor and stone….would not have noticed with the motorcycle what would not be right!!! At home I measured oil level (as it was heard with the memory minute in idle) And then the scare oil at the measuring rod on max!!!!! Named the workshop (Yamaha!!!) too much oil put in… no matter before I fight with the workshop I left off about 0.4 l myself. Now my fear (as I love my machine) can my motorcycle have damaged thereby???

  • Other spark plug type permitted?

Hello everybody! have a question about the spark plug. And I found a few original packed Bosch candles with 3 mass electrodes in the shed the other day. The thread is long and would therefore fit. Now my question: Can I drive this without hesitation with the DT? Or would the spark then possibly be too strong and there is a damage to the engine? Or otherwise the voltage may not be enough for a clever spark, since it is eig is a “car” candle?? Mfg

  • Exchange frames without frame number

Moin, I bought a R6 several years ago without the intention to take it to the road. So I didn’t pay any attention to whether the frame number fits the papers and I didn’t have a purchase contract (no idea if I had one at all). I got a vehicle letter (certificate of approval part 2) for a RJ05. The frame installed however is an exchange frame without a frame number. Visually it could be an RJ05 frame. It looks like I don’t think that the frame is stolen. But now I would like to put the moped on the street. My first idea was simply to buy a different frame and to convert everything. But that’s not very cheap. The next thought was to have the frame number punched out of the papers. Is this possible without the old frame (the one from the papers) at all? your proof that it is not stolen? For this I would have to have the KBA confirm that the frame number is clean in the letter, right? And the third option would be to buy a broken frame and punch its number in. But also there might be the problem to prove that my frame is not stolen. Should it turn out at the police that the frame number in the letter has been stolen what happens then? There is a blank frame and an exchange engine in it that my bi No one can prove the stolen vehicle now, can’t they? If the papers ever belonged to my vehicle. What strategy would you recommend me? I have a lot of time but little money.

  • R 129 Purchase aid requested

Hi, I have been sporadically in this forum for several years now and experienced a lot of useful and interesting details, but now it is serious. I have just sold my plane and need a new toy. It will be the third vehicle for ice-eating, bread picking or holiday on the Lago. After weighing all my priorities it should ideally be a 320er, but possibly also the 280er. In any case no 500er. Important is original condition, no AMG or lowering ! Regarding the Baujah I am no longer so sure, even or just after detailed – and partly amused – study of the threads with wikled. About taste can be argued and so I prefer the MOPF 1 model, actually not the MOPF 2, but am also open to the guys 95 years ago ( was 15 years enthusiastic W 126 owner and for 2 years just as enthusiastic about my W 124 QP ). What do you think is an important equipment? In an earlier thread the talk was from the steering wheel adjustment, which I didn’t think about but will certainly be quite useful. Do you have any further tips? Inside my greatest wish would be the light beige in connection with smaragtblack outside, but that certainly can’t be found so easily. I think maybe I’ll wait until October or November, there’s a bigger selection. I want to spend 20, max. 23 K Euro. How do you find this one here? M.E. approx. 2 – 3 K too expensive!http://www.autoscout24.de/ Details.aspx?id=bxxi1llgdds4 Or the there ?http://www.autoscout24.de/Details.aspx?id=vnbtbjsmohrc I am happy about all tips from you specialists ! • Tips for sightseeing Sl300 R129

Hello, I want to look at this 129er and try it outhttp://www.autoscout24.de/Details.aspx?id=vfzybxyju3mp Which things should I pay close attention to? I will of course check the engine thoroughly, known weak spot head seal and control housing. The offer seems serious. Originally the car should cost 6900,-. Funny that nobody has bought it yet. Or is the economic crisis to blame? I want to drive the car only in the summer. The series fits qualitatively very g ut to my W140 🙂 Would be nice if you told me your assessment…. MfG

  • It’s done – SL500

Hello SL community, since yesterday I am now after a long search full of anticipation and some travelled kilometers for visits proud owner of a SL500. The car is Bj.2003, first registration 11/2004, 40,000km (!) As for the equipment, this could be better for my taste, because I miss Keyless-Go, Panorama and TV/DVD. But maybe I find a solution in terms of TV/DVD. A new rim/tire set will also be due. Currently the original 17″ with 4 S tk. 255-ers mounted. There has to be something else. However, cars with full equipment would have been definitely more expensive. For example, a friend said: “One less thing that can be broken.” I will probably have some questions at first, and hopefully soon be ready to support others in return. Here are some photos:http://picasaweb.google.com/mariookadar/SL_500# Oh children, I am so happy!

  • SL and A.T.U. – Is this okay?

  • Wheel widths for tyres

The ETRTO standards include long lists as well as calculation formulas. Before I describe these formulas for a long time, I created a file that allows a quick calculation. Since only certain file extensions are allowed in the forum, I have packed them into a ZIP archive. The HTML file in it can be opened with a web browser. Greeting Alpha Lyrae Important supplement: The calculation formulas used in the file correspond to those used in the ETRTO Engineering Design Information. This does not necessarily imply the admissibility of a combination of tyre cross-section and rim contour. Secure values for possible rim contours to a tyre q The ETRTO Standards Manual gives only the cut-off. There are some deviations from the formulas of the EDI.
