  • SL 55 AMG, power loss

    Hello everyone, for two years I have been “stolzer owner” of an SL 55 AMG (model 2003). For some time now the following problem has been resolved: With fast motorway ride about 240 – 250 km/h (vehicle has vmax 300 km/h) with brakes at approx. 200 km/h “misses” at the subsequent acceleration about 1/3 of the power. Even at full speed it takes considerably from 210 km/h to 220 km/h to accelerate. Who drives a SL 55, knows how fast this usually goes. The power is back again. Does anyone have an idea? Is this perhaps an electronic problem? Bernd

  • Drive for the vacuum pump at the Schrick camshaft

    Hello I have a question and I bought myself a Schrick camshaft 272° via the search function search for the right one but found nothing!!! I have read this with the camshaft of the drive for the vacuum pump no matter how or where I get the drive again and what must I change!? Drive the Audi 90 2,3E Have already removed the wedge in the throttle valve, installed a sports air filter, size A diameter 63.5 installed!!! camshaft data: – Gradza hl = 272° – spread = 110° – valve stroke = 11.4mm – stroke in OT = 1.7mm – profile symmetrical Hope you can help me again very well!!! thanks already in advance MFG: Chris

  • Audi 80 1.6E, possibly value ?

    Day people… And that’s how I want to get back from Portugal to Germany in March, and now consider whether it’s worth taking my Audi 80 with me.. I have to put in a few euros before, new tires and windshield and triangular handlebars on the right…And bite what paint, but I’ll do them seber…come to 130€ what I have to put in, including costs for the delivery…and therefore want to know beforehand what the car is in about “value”, and what you mean by my t, if it might be better for me to buy another used (Audi80) in Germany.. . Equipment: elect. window lifter, electric. + heatable outside mirror, car check, sliding roof, Ser vo, alarm system, central locking, Procon-ten,… Engine is in a top condition. Car color white… MfG.   • Caprice Station to start ?

    As the title already says, I would like to buy a Caprice station, year of construction is really not important to me main thing nen classic station. But now 17 have my rags already and drive also smoothly, unfortunately only in company. Now the question arises whether this above all in terms of extra costs is affordable. My bowet, probably approx. 8000 Euro. If then of course not any rust bowl, I rather graduated as a polishing fetishist.   • Camaro still dead?

    Good evening I finally had my camaro hauled to me yesterday by towing service (which the ADAC kindly paid for for what I was very grateful for). Now it is at least in the dry and I can now begin to limit the error, find and fix. The first thing I did yesterday was to recharge the battery again because it was already a bit empty due to the long standing time in the workshop. This then lasted until today. Well in the time I leave the whole day here in the forum and elsewhere in the net. Printed me directions etc. Now I thought before I wanted to recharge the battery but you try to start it again. And look there he jumped on for exactly half a minute. I could even put in the 1speed and start it. Then he went out. My suspected is now really that it has something to do with the ignition system??? Because if e.g. the control chain would have skipped then he would not even start again or??? if the battery would have been broken then it would not have been addressed any more. Further questions are: Where is the fuel filter?? I just want to exchange it at the opportunity. Is only the ECM and the cooling water sensor responsible for the mixing or the injection quantity???

  • Nissan Note squeaks, brakes, wheel bearings?

    Day too. I got a new (used) Nissan Note E11 this year. Gasoline, from 2009, around 110,000 kilometers on the speedometer. I had the same one before, only with less PS and really likes the notes very much, because they are already small room wonders. Now I have a big problem with this one, however: If I take a right turn at a little speed (around 20kmh), then something starts to squeak extremely high and loudly. D I can’t even be dazzled with a full-blown radio and I’m already stared at here in the village when I’m driving by. The squeaking can then hold itself on straight track. If I brake, is directly quiet. Even if I hit the left, he gives a short rest. I’ve been googled for a while, what this could be right now. I leave somewhere that you should just put on the handbrake a few times during the ride, so that even I tried to take advantage of the tual tacks or something. I tried on a free track when driving slower (around the 30kmh). But nothing seemed to do. When changing tyres from winter to summer, my neighbour noticed (he knows a bit about the car and always changes the tyres for small money the whole road), which with me the front left wheel with my hand can only be turned hard. So maybe something could block there. Where exactly the squeaking comes from, he can also not quite explain and I can never say exactly from which side or whether it comes from the front or from the rear, even during the ride. Did one of you ever have and can give me clues about what it might be? It would be really great if I didn’t have to go to the workshop with it and it might be just the brake pads or other things that I can change or get done by the neighbor.     Hello Saab friends, I have a 9-5er with the Navi system with tochscreen which comes from Kenwood. Who can help me with the question which Navi DVD works. From Saab is directly no reasonable information to get. And from Kenwood and TeleAtlas is only offered as of 2002. I am grateful for every information.     Hello together, my friend and I would like to drive from Essen to Marseille (F) together with the car…because we have never done anything like this before, I would like to know from you what it looks like with the tolls in F, which route is best and what it looks like with the borders in themselves…these are open, right?
