  • XPeng G6 “Sentry/guard mode – USB port / supported stick size

Hello, the XPeng G6 supports “Tesla-like” a guardian mode, is called “Sentry”. In addition, you can use the cameras of the G6 via “DVR” mode as “Dashcam” to drive records. Prerequisite is that you connect a USB stick (preferably a mini stick) to the USB-A connection in the center console. Via the vehicle menu “Cameras” you can then activate the “Sentry” mode (uses battery current in progress), via the “App” menu is the DVR mode of the video recording (q Uasi Dashcam) selectable. According to my knowledge, this USB port supports the standard “USB 2.0” but can also be connected to newer USB drives 3.0 / 3.2. The question is how large a USB drive can be, so that it is still supported by the interface? Alther brought FAT32 with max 32/64 GB? Or also larger sticks with 128 – 512 GB (NTFS / exFAT)? The bigger, the better. So that e.g. in guard mode the car in the parking garage possibly via a WE, or also as Dashc Is anyone familiar with the specifications, or has tried it with larger sticks? Since my G6 is only ready to pick up on 04.02.2025, I can’t test it myself yet. Currently there is a SanDisk Mini USB Stick 512GB for only 37 EUR. In all other sizes from 32 GB also reduced. Would you like to order it quickly – only what size? Link (for interested parties): https://www.google.com/gasea rch?… Thank you very much! VG from the Weimarer Land Uwe

  • XPENG G9 Leasing condition Business customers

After 18 years as an Audi customer X Peng managed to convince me with the G9 as future electric… I am various e-vehicle test drives. polestar, Zeekr, BMW, Audi, Cupra. After years, the only vehicle with the so-called WoW factor. What bothers me as a business customer, however, are two factors. Bzw. absolute no-go criteria that can make the whole thing fail. The currently offered leasing factor of 1.25, stood 01/25. For a car that eleven out of ten people do not know The current leasing partner Santander Bank. Here I have already made very bad experience in terms of leasing return and rating. See also online reviews. Expensive calculations are made here, for example, “additional products such as GAP” the business customers do not need. For comparison: A well-equipped Audi Q6 Sportback with BLP: 98K is quite similar in the rate in spite of 21,000 EUR additional price. Has anyone already found alternatives for this and how they are included in your leasing terms? • When is a diesel still worth it today?

Hi, now that petrol and diesel prices are almost the same, I would like to know what this now looks like with the calculation Diesel vs. Petroler in terms of maintenance and mileage costs. In the past one said about 15,000km could be an interesting diesel. What does this look like now and especially with used cars? Let’s take this example: car A: 5000,- purchase price; 8l on 100km, 108 Euro tax car B: 5500,- purchase price, 6l on 100km, 299 Euro tax annual vehicle leist 12,000km. What would be more useful now? Insurance we say would be the same. I have now taken data that are relevant to me, but in general it would be interesting to know how many kilometers the diesel drives on average in plus. A computer with which you can calculate such a thing would also be quite helpful as an answer, I also found the fast no one who convinced me. mfg

  • Toyota places new sporty brand in Australia

I know, I know, I always say, I’m primarily interested in the German market, but maybe the following topic can give rise to stress-free discussion. Toyota places in Australia under the name “TRD” (Toyota Racing Development) an independent brand for sporty models. The first candidate is called “Aurion”. 241 kW, 6.1 s, 250 km/h regulated! So a fairly clear statement and by no means the “sporty” models found in Europe. For me pers The car is already a bit too “crazy”, but I would be happy if Toyota would also give more gas in Europe, as before under the “TS”-cutle. • -Subaru- equity policy with Toyota

Bonjour and Hi Now, since I am now dealing more intensively with Subaru by my choice of the new Impreza, I have noticed many similarities, optically above all, with Toyota and Lexus models. At Impreza, for example, the similarities with Toyota and also with Lexus models start already outside. – Some paint colours bear the same names, which I have also read/seen in the TMC group, for example, without paying attention now to the exactness of the colors. – The standard Scheib Envier at Impreza are the same as at the Toyota Auris and I have only discovered these so far with the two models. (In addition: Which manufacturer is this? ) – In the interior room at Impreza and at Tribeca, which I recently had as a rental car for a few days, the door handles and locking buttons are absolutely identical with those in our Lexus GS. – In addition to the lighting and wiper levers, also various other buttons and buttons on the dashboard are identical with those in the Auris and also in the Prius e.g. – The DVD navigation system in the Tribeca is in form and function a slightly thinner version like the one in the Lexus GS450h. – The automatic selector levers in the Impreza are also identical with those of the Auris with MMT. – Identical headrests in the Impreza and in the RAV-4. These are some examples that fall into the eye at first and second glance. The craziest example is the Subaru Justy. Usually an identical version of the Daihatsu Sirion. Even the upcoming Forester si It looks like a Toyota, whether the technology and features of Toyota models are also taken over is a question that you can’t answer now: Link from Autoblog, for those who are interested:Click The really interesting question now is whether there are similar parts under the hood of Subarus as in e.g. Toyotas and Lexus models. (apart from the official drive) Or else: What could Toyota use for example for Subaru parts in their own models. This topic is quite interesting. Especially the statement, that recently on the Internet was that Subaru not only want to worship vehicles with Boxer engines and Symmetrical-AWD in the future, is very interesting. The first example is the Justy. So can one hope in the future for enhanced cooperations with TMC? Although some unique selling features are expected less at Subaru. That certainly not everyone likes. Especially the Subaru fans don’t. Greetings, He ron

  • Sandero Eco2 vs. Chevy Aveo LPG

Hello guys. I’m looking for a new mobile kit and have it on the two above mentioned “limited”. To the selection stand for me: Dacia Sandero 1.2 Eco2 gasoline with 75 hp, price 9.500,00 Euro Dacia Sandero 1.5 Eco2 diesel with 68 hp, price 11.500,00 Euro Chevy Aveo 1.2 (base) LPG, price 9.990,00 Euro Chevy Aveo 1.2 (LS incl. climate) LPG, price 12.790,00 Euro. I strongly tend to the Chevy base version for around EUR 10,000 because I have the only useful extra d the higher quality equipment (the air conditioning) is actually no EUR 2,800 value. I think on the engine side all possibilities should not pull the butter off the bread. Therefore, it is mainly about the current maintenance costs (use almost exclusively highway approx. 55 km/day). To which would you advise me? How about the consumption of the Eco2 diesel? I looked at the Chevy already intensively in the car house and actually likes me quite well. The Sandero is this week test drives I will probably complete next week as far as possible. Thank you in advance.
