Hello, I bought for my C-Class (W203) 40mm track width (20mm per axle) incl. ABE. (http://www.ebay.de/itm/380736961025?…) Since I need new wheel screws, I have just measured my current ones. I need the following screws: M12x1.5 ball bundle. The shaft length is about 40-41mm. Is it now that I simply add the width of the track plate and finally order wheel screws with 60mm shaft length or should I safety be 56 or 59mm Does it seem a bit strange to me, because there are still track plates for my model with 30-35mm widening per side, but I can no longer find longer longer wheel screw offers. I would like to have a look at the following offer:http://www.ebay.de/itm/201205947148?… Many thanks in advance

Lamella-deep winter tyres
Hello, last winter I drove my Pirelli Snowsport 210 up to 4mm. The tires were top! But at 4mm there were sometimes no lamellas to be seen and the driving behaviour was very bad on all surfaces. Is it clear that one should replace winter tires with 4mm, but how is actually the lamella depth at other manufacturers? Would like to buy me again Pirelli (Sottozero) or Michelin (Pa3) size 205/55.

What’s going on here?
Hello, yesterday I had my winter bikes screwed on again (Michelin Alpin 17″ on S-Line), which I had bought last winter and had driven a winter very little, are still almost like new. The wheels were also adjusted after the assembly at 2,3 bar. Then this morning: during the ride after 3km it was pointed out that a tire was flat. I then hit the spare wheel and continued the ride, but on the flat tire there was no damage/nail I’m seriously asking myself: how can that be? I’ve already driven a whole season with exactly these wheels, and after that they were stored at the dealer’s store. The core question is: if what were with the valve, then I would have already noticed that last season? Why only now after waking up from the ‘summer sleep’? The wheels were no longer washed before the storage, but that doesn’t matter? Or is this a well-known mesh of tire services? The tyres are probably now a case for the garbage, so they say yes (because of the risk of cracking the carcass?). Would you now exchange both or just the one? (back axle) The tyres are DOT at the end of 2013 and still have almost full profile (so 7.5 – 8.0).

At what profile depth you replace the tires
Hello, I would be interested in which profile depth you exchange your summer tyres or your winter tyres? I once heard that you should replace summer tyres at 3mm profile depth and winter tyres at 4mm. My front winter tyres currently have just over 4mm profile depth and I’m not sure if I should exchange them soon. And then another question: There are always cheap tyres on the internet. Let’s say I would like to change which tyres this winter. but let the tyres be pulled onto the rims only the next winter. Would that be advisable? And how do you store the tyres best? Just laid on top of each other in the basement/garage?

Mad in the car! Now I need your help
Hello people! Now I also have a problem. I know, it has been mentioned here several times, but what’s the point. My beloved car is currently standing at a farmer’s place in a shed until April. Dry and safe ; so I thought. Today on my day off I am once straightened out to look at the right. Up trunk, doors, so that an air exchange can take place again, bonnet up, well, dry it stands nevertheless…… well what is that? A N There, at the place where my battery had been sitting (have I jammed off and now lies with me at home), was a nest of straw. And then I already saw the misery: all cables from the distributor to the candles knabbert (okay the very short, so the done cable is still untouched), the cables are not half a year old and I can still remember how expensive the things were! The rubber caps of almost all donors are also knabbert! With a maggot I never had a The car is equipped with an ultrasonic system against maggots, but without a battery. Do these things even bring something? Now my question to you out there: Should I connect the battery again, buy an anti-made spray or what? Who has had similar experiences and chased the maggot with success? I am grateful for every good advice.

Problem from 80 km/h
Hello municipality! I just drove home from a friend where I was last night and on the way back my car started to wobble from 80km/h kpl. That’s not only to feel on the steering wheel but constantly. It’s very strong even if I walk off the gas at over 80. What can that be? Can that be the knocked out carrying joint of me? And could I (if that is) still drive with it for a few days or not? Should actually drive 30km highway tonight. Prob is that I am unfortunately unemployed since January and have no coal. But I have the joint already. What would the installation cost? Track costs about 40€. Achja: My exhaust hood for 60€ was also stolen in time This ***!

Purchase Audi 80
Hello, I’m just about to get a new car and play with the idea of getting me an Audi. I’m interested in which type you would recommend. What do you think of the 1.6l engines, the 2l and the 2.3 or higher? Does it make sense to take one with 90 hp at all or is it almost a bit undermotorized? (e.g. differences in consumption, from how many kilometers, or what age do the repair costs rise strongly? Can you still make your own car? n or do they have to go to the specialist workshop with special tools?) I would also be interested in what you think of the following offer:http://www.webauto.de/index.cfm….=1000] Is the price appropriate? What I’m surprised is the combination of 2 previous owners, few kilometers and the removable trailer coupling. Sounds like the new owner wanted to get rid of him quickly or what do you think? Well, I’m rather perplexed at the moment before the offer on the used car market Vi Thank you very much for your answers! Greetings, Matthias

Funny clacking front right
I’ve recently had a clack in the engine compartment, probably from the front right, on my B4 Avant 2,0. It actually only occurs under load, so if I give gas or drive downhill, switch it back and let it roll (so the engine brakes the box). I’ve already looked for drive cuff, but it’s still quite. The wheel is also bomb-proof (tested in stand and in high-bock condition), so it’s probably not the wheel bearing either. What do I do now?! are either the jacks on the transverse handlebars (which somehow doesn’t harmonize with the clack only if I give gas) or stop the drive shaft. Would it be advisable to change the wheel bearings on suspicion? If so, then it would also be useful to change the transverse handlebar jacks immediately if I had to go to a workshop anyway because of press-in .. or??

Police protocol with errors / brake path calculation
Moin, I had an accident on a wet road about 2 months ago. I rushed on a standing car. Very light but only (bulk @ license plate from the tow hook). It came out of dreaming – was 50km/h, vll also a tick under it, fast. At least not TO SCHNELL! At that time I refused the statement about the accident. The police were very angry and thus reached me today the protocol of the police. Drin says: – I said that the woman had flashed. age denied? Furthermore, they measured brake tracks. (E30 WITHOUT ABS but with NEW, (10km old) winter tires). Values between 11 and 14 meters came out. Now I should have had a calculated windiness of 50.5 meters. HOW THAT? At 50km/h the braking distance should have been at 28,5m. Do your E30 brake so well? So, 28,5m @ wet roadway with blocking tires? Well…one knows how to get to the 28,5m, what “50meter speed” means and what I am against the false tyres. can make ussage the police? mfg

Petition 18111
Dear fellow combatants, as you know, I submitted a petition to the German Bundestag on 25 May 2011 at the website https://epetitions.bundestag.de/. Like many of you, I have longed for it to finally be switched online. Today, on 24 June 2011, I received a written reply saying that the petition was rejected because it would “not bring the desired success”. On the one hand, it was explained that the order service and/or the police were very much where In addition, it was also stated that NO order service and/or police could control, if there were no official signs (painted symbols or self-made signs). The countries were also responsible, not the federal government. Now I ask myself, who is issuing such laws? Who wants to control the traffic on supermarket parking places, etc., if an official sign (parking place with additional sign wheelchair) was ordered by the local road authority. I do not know at the moment how to proceed. Probably I will submit the same petition text, which can be read here, to the Landtag, in my case with the Bavarian. To this end the text would have to be changed a little, because – as the answer says – with existing traffic signs can be controlled very well!! I would advise you, the gle This is the only way to get ahead!! Here’s a link, you can find out the addresses and see if you can also enter petitions online.http://www.rechenkraft.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=9229 What unfortunately can’t be done, I can only speak for Bavaria, is the fact that the petition is treated as publicly as on https://epetitions.bundestag.de/, where you could also agree online or not. As I understand, however, the meetings of the committee are so if you like to read the answer, please send me an e-mail to [email protected]. Please write to the subject “Petition”, then I know that the request comes from one of you. Greetings Rainer
