  • Summer tyres for the Seat Leon 5F FR 2.0 TSI

    Hello together, For 10 weeks now I have my Seat Leon 5f as 2L TSI with 190 horses and 7 gear dsg. Since tomorrow I plan to buy new rims for the vehicle (19 inch) I still need good summer tires. Since I have absolutely no idea about tires (had always only all-weather tires so far), I wanted to ask which tires would be recommended for this motorization. Since I currently only have standard 17 tariff with 205/50 all-weather tires on it and the tra I would like to use something more high-quality. A colleague of mine recommends the Michelin Pilot Sport 4s, because they make it possible for his Astra opc to have a very good grip on the front axle. Nevertheless, I would be interested in which tyres the community can use and recommend in this way.   • Conditions Seat “Cash Your Ex” bonus? – Dealers push around!?

    I have a question about the current Seat “Cash Your Ex” award for the Leon of €3700. How exactly are the conditions? I have asked a few new cars about mobile.de at dealers and each time I have the feeling that they don’t come with the whole truth or push around. In the end they claim that the cash payment premium Cash Your Ex applies only to the list price and because they do not write out their cars at the list price, but already with R abatt, the premium does not apply or some say something like that would already be included. But it is ridiculous that the cars with discounts are advertised by the 15-20%, that exists already without payment premium without problems about the mediators like apl etc….even more. Why should I then also give my car in payment for it? Therefore, I think that there is not brought out with the whole truth. Can someone say something about it or knows the complete Bedin I have of course calculated: xx% (e.g. 24% according to apl) on the list price and then deducted an additional 3700€. Isn’t that correct? But I think it should be like that, otherwise it wouldn’t make any sense to give a car in payment, if you didn’t get away better with it.

    Hello all, we got the Seat Leon ST in the configuration as attached. A few considerations/questions – price was probably ok (23k); – do I have to pay for the LTE connection? – built at the end of December 2020, first registration at the end of January (EU vehicle), can I have hopes for the new MIB3 with Android Auto Wireless? – I am an absolute geek about smartphones etc, so I will also look here at firmware updates – which run if I see it right OTA, right? – Tachostand is one-digit, don’t heat your first 1000 kilometers – is that a myth or something? Anything else to consider before we pick up the vehicle tomorrow? 😉 Cheers L

  • Engine does not start because keys are not recognized

    Hello, have a little problem again, which apparently no one had before me (fora search). I drove with my car this morning (Ford Escort 1.6 16V, year 95) and he ran wonderfully, but then about 1 hour later he didn’t jump on again. The key can be turned to the stop, but nothing happens. The light under the clock flashes quite fast, which according to the operating instructions means that the key code is not correct or not recognized. The replacement key and the master key are not recognized either. What can this be or what can I try? In an emergency I probably have to go to a workshop, the question is how expensive this will be?     So I started with my Escort Cabrio 1.6 16V in the morning. He jumped immediately on as on every day … When I was driving about 2 km I switched off from 5 to the 4th walk because of a curve. When I went back on the gas didn’t come as if I was in a too high gear then nothing went at all I was getting slower and slower until I finally came to the stand. Great thought I and that on the way to work so first to a well-known pushed who lives only a few meters further.
